I love this song selection. For the average person, this music may sound as "boring" or "not-conventional" music, but for the people who regularly listens to ambient and related, this are just "the hits".
welp it's arguably a perfect station to listen to if you want to explore around Liberty City in the night, just appreciating the city skyline and keep driving while the soothing tones play in the background
@@xed69v Yes, but I thought that "Andrev for Rights Holder" would reject it, but the song is blocked in almost all countries - WMG, but I had no doubt that you would be able to challenge WMG, just because all the copyright holders should agree, this song has two of them, but it seems you can't challenge The Orchard Music because she always rejects it, and I also think that it was because of her that the challenge of the song The Weirdos - Solitary Confinimet from Channel X Beta was rejected, the song seems to be blocked by WMG, but she has two more copyright holders, this is The Orchard Music, and it seems there was another one in which at the very beginning it is written by Merlin (I don't remember the full name) and also you can't seem to challenge Stem Distributions LLC.

I am convinced that the game designers of Grandtheft Auto IV were fans of the late night time paranormal talk show host, Art Bell. He used to use some of the songs as his bumper music when they would go on/at the end of commercial breaks for his radio shows “Coast To Coast A.M.”, “Dreamland”, and “Midnight In The Desert”. (R.I.P. Art Bell [June 17, 1945 - April 13, 2018])
Oh man, bringing Cognoscenti found at Francis International to the financial district (The Exchange) just to park it in a back alley and listen as "Remote Viewing" (🕯️ Edgar Froese) begins uninterrupted after "5:23" is concluded and gently fades away is what turned many of my gloomy days around (despite them tunes being pretty gloomy themselves 😅)
On a second note: the ratio of tracks that are "gloomy" to those that are "cheerful" is pretty even. No doubdt tho, almost all of those (I'm looking at you, T. Riley's piece. You made my ears bleed one too many times) are top notch
I love this station. I love every station in gta 4. I love every station in gta serius! But The Journey... this is something different. This radio station evokes such unusual emotions. It seems to relax thanks to its ambient and cosmic music, but it also causes some anxiety because of the host computer. I could say that Self-Actualization FM, which replaced it, is at its level. True, the atmosphere there is more calming, thanks to the human host. In general, The Journey is a unique radio station of its kind.

The perfect soundtrack for Niko's journey in Liberty City.
Favorite station. Love just driving around Liberty City at night in the rain listening to it.
Despite the songs being that old, for me they feel so 2009
