Rockstar did a good job with the music, a real 60s london style music truly a masterpiece to hear.
This song was just used by Rockstar, it was a piece created by Gianfranco Reverberi used in the 1968 movie “Le malizie di Venere”.

it would be great, but they would have to implement an actual story and make at least rodney the only protagonist in the game in order to give it some focus
@@rosalinamacarita01 I have some ideas of how the protagonists of Grand Theft Auto London 1969 could be reimagined if the expansion were to be reimagined into a proper game.
-Rodney Morash. Knowing that he is the one most used by Rockstar to promote the Londons, he would become the only protagonist of this reimagination. He is intelligent enough to create plans and have them turn out almost perfectly (To maintain that idea that he takes over London), and with unbreakable codes.
-Charles Jones. I perfectly see the hippie as the first person to offer missions in the game. He could be found in a parked VW Type 2 camper.
-Winston Henry. He could be Rodney's companion on several missions.
-Johnny Hawthorn. Knowing the rivalry that existed between Rockers and Mods, he could be a minor antagonist. After all, Johnny's a Rocker and Rodney's a Mod.
-Wolfie Vilans. The spiv could offer quests at a midpoint in the story. He looks like he owns some business in Picadilly Circus.
-Maurice Caine. Despite being based on an actor both in name and appearance, I perfectly see him as a detective who offers missions to Rodney at an advanced stage in the story, in order to take down the Crisp Twins.
With Mick Casey and Sid Vacant I wouldn't know how to adjust them.
Basically a mix of gangster, action, crime, movies from 60s early 70s. Well done. Would be amazing play a GTA in the 60s with a modern gameplay.
I still have my Gta London game for Ps1 in my book shelf to this day

Fun fact: Miami appears mentioned more than once (as if it exists alongside Vice City) in old GTA lore. There's a billboard in Vice City that says "move over, Miami", and it's mentioned also in GTA III, as well as the website for Francis International Airport (which used to appear in the official GTA III website), which mentions both Vice City AND Miami as if they coexist.

This was my first gta game i played on a emulator. Kinda hard to get used to the controls but it was something else.
This is the soundtrack of a couple ol' Jimmies escaping the coppers in an Morris Minor after a bank heist while all carrying Sterlings.

Sadly rockstar don't give a shit about their old games. Like they did with trilogy, instead of doing it themselves they handed it to a company who only makes android ports.

I usually dislike remakes of games. But this is one I actually really want lol, Rodney in HD and 3D gameplay so we all don't have to keep pretending 1 and 2 doesn't exist because people have a heart attack from seeing its gameplay nowadays haha
Hopefully they put the iconic line "remember im the monkey and your the cheese grater so no messing about" in gta 6 somewhere

The fact that this is the only GTA game/addon that's not set in the US and doesn't have a fictional city name is pretty interesting.
There must be GTA games based in other cities too like Dhaka, Mumbai, Karachi and Tokyo.

This is one of my favorite GTAs simply because the era, London, the swinging 60s. I feel this is a criminally underused era for games.

2nd episode GTA London 1969
And then there's a 3rd episode
GTA Glasgow and it is set in the 1980s during the violent ice cream wars and in this story, you can do missions in London while the protagonist is in hiding there.
this needs to be remade as a spin off
They should remaster the older top down GTA games tbh
