@@ChrisWeevilGarage sometime I do enjoy some maintenance works on my wira aeroback, and my wife mumbling that just our 3rd car, we don't have 3rd person to drive that old car. Haha. But I do enjoying so much when I done the servicing and checking,it does satisfying so much for me. Part of the reason is affected by my dad, since he is a mechanic repairing.
Shopee .. once you go in you get sucked into it ! But great job in finding all the parts .. i hope KE looks great after the new accessories and paint job ! Cant wait for it !
Just watched and noticed something. A bit of scroll and somebody already mentioned - I wished you retain the late version taillight. And please don't lose the mudflaps - they compliment the tanduk as period accessories package!
Thanks for the suggestions, but by now u should know that I would restore this car how I see fit, nobody else's bud. Everyone's free to do as they please 😊
The room light looks same Taiwan made I used on my ke70 restoration. Fuel filter I got the original aisin filter. Always a joy to look for old car parts. Headlight, tail light, number plate light, engine oil cap, etc. still can find them from old stock somewhere or after market parts
The new tail light looks cooler with chrome strips and slimmer design compared to the ones on the car. Believed its the older version which looks cooler. I knew coz my dad & uncle used to have KE30
Front bonnet seems to have heat black marks beneath.. (video pic) .. Maybe some heat insulator for front bonnet will protect the new paint job on the bonnet
Seriously am very gian to get old skool cars where u could still get parts fr this age….. RACUN ITU BENAR….by the way the rear lights u bought seem for the earlier version n unsure if it fits to yours…..
Just got myself a ke30 but struggling to find genuine online shops that I can buy parts. Am a newbie with my Corolla😬😬 Any leads I can look into for spares
Its a delight that ke30 still lives on today and somehow i know there are 2 ke30 in a workshop that left unattended in glenmarie. Also good thing about it still interchangeable with celica parts
I just cannot get over how good the condition this car is in.. Dying to see the final result!!
Not too bad for 44yrs eh? Can't wait too!! 😀👍🏽🙏🏽

Kind of the same for KE70 too- bonnet stoppers. Land of smiles has a lot of spares for old cars also. More unboxing videos please😁

That is a real #giveoldcarsasecondchance shifu out there 😊
Haha, thanks bro 🙏🏽😄
good buy .. arent those new lights from 76 Corolla ?
Possibly, but they'll fit 😁
The new tail light looks cooler with chrome strips and slimmer design compared to the ones on the car. Believed its the older version which looks cooler. I knew coz my dad & uncle used to have KE30
Yes, someone here mentioned earlier it could be from the 1976 model, awesome 👌 😃
That tail light was so clean and sexyyy. can't wait to see the outcome!
Me too!!😁👍🏽
Front bonnet seems to have heat black marks beneath.. (video pic) .. Maybe some heat insulator for front bonnet will protect the new paint job on the bonnet
Yep, this is very common for old skool cats, a bit of spatter, will get insulation done after paint 😊
WoW!
😀😀😀🙏🏽👍🏽
This car will be cheap to maintain. The rear lights is the highlight for me. Where is the shop to restore the seat cushion?
There's 2 places that I use, Klang and Balakong, haven't decided which I'm gonna use for this car yet, both owners are named Heng, haha! 😊

Indeed they are, let's hope they fit 😊
Where’s the best place to get parts for these cars? You mentioned an online marketplace called Shopi? Don’t know if I spelt it right.
Shopee, yes. It's an app 👍🏽😊

Brader, kat situ boleh modi tukar stering box kepada hidraulik power stering untuk datsun tak.
Tak boleh bro, sori 🙏🏽😊
Any new ke35 parts??
Check Shoppe and see 😊

Indeed! The oil filter for example, more than a dozen other Toyota cars use the exact same one, haha!!😁😁😁
Can become shopee influencer la.
Hahahaha!! Nooooo! Too dangerous!!😆
May i have seller address, as i am in the process of restoration of my KE 30
