A similar issue is present in some chevy silverado trucks from 10 years ago. But the problem there is due to bad grounding in certain parts of the vehicle. Mine had it the passenger side headlight connector grounding cable. It is loosely attached/damaged somewhere further back than the connector. The ground will start to heat up and corrode until it burns out the bulb and the connector itself and the ground wire will start to burn/ corrode back towards the fault if a replacement connector is attached, no matter if it is ceramic. Only reliable fix is to find the grounding fault or more simply bypassing it by attaching the lightbulb ground wire to the body of the car somewhere close in the engine bay or directly to the battery.

@@pryosliceI actually talked to a Toyota mechanic, and he told me that the 2018 and up Toyota models were designed for LED headlights, not the halogen that it had. He told me to order some Lasfit LEDs. And I haven't had a problem in almost 7 months.
The reason why Toyota sent so many halogen lights out with those models instead of the LEDs they were designed for is because they were overstocked and cheaper than the LEDs.

Boss, I need some advice. You clearly seem to know what you're doing and it makes sense. My connection looks similar and i need to press and pull. I used to use halogen and xenon bulbs but sometimes they'd last sometimes thye blow every 2-3 weeks. I now use LED headlights, it just plugs in. If I use two of the same LED bulbs one always works and one doesn't? Why is that? If i use one led bulb and one of a different brand both works? Like wtf? I notice the LED headlights last 3-4 months. Though they should be years. I have a toyota auris 2012 plate hybrid 1.8 hatchback. now, I got it checked by toyota and they said your wiring is fine, theres a cap missing from your headlight which prtects it from moisutre and dust but this version of toyota doesn't have a cap that goes over but a rubber ish thing inside. I replaced my headlights to brand new ones but i'm still have similar light issues? This video seems useful but my headlight clicks into the connector well and I don't think that'a the issue.

Sorry for the off topic question. Do you have any tips for leveling a basement floor? Like all basements with concrete floors it’s not completely level. Half of the basement is carpet with the other half vinyl. I am considering replacing all of it with vinyl laminate flooring and know that it’s not going to be forgiving enough just to put down the standard materials.
You do good work and thought you might have tips on the self leveling compounds and how to address the entire floor. My guess is that I need to get the laser scanning the room and manually mark the low areas. Thoughts?

From my younger off road days, I sealed every electrical connection on my off road vehicle with silicone adhesive. Keeps water, dust, etc. out and also keeps the wired in place in case of plastic pieces breaking. Yes, they had plastic pieces even in the dinosaur era.
