Hi Lynn loved that. I could listen to you all day. Hope all goes well at the hospital. Very sensible Lynn to get the step ladder and make the boxes smaller for easier access. I got down on my hands and knees yesterday to get some thing out of the bottom of the cupboard. Jesus thought I was never going to get up. It’s a sad thing this getting older. Omg lol

Aw that’s so kind of you to say Pam. Yes fingers crossed it’s good news. The steps have arrived, so I can get on and do the organising, I love the steps, so much easier. Oh I’m the same Pam, I have to kind of roll over to me knees and grab something to pull me up hahaha. When we went to the gathering last Saturday, I sat in one of those foldable camp chairs, people had to pull me up when I needed to go the loo, I couldn’t get up for love nor money 😂😂😂 yes I think your right, and we haven’t had any very hot days, so no chance of drying out either. I don’t find it a problem lol, I stop if I’m going round a big roundabout, or where there are a few lanes to navigate, but I love chatting in the car. If you want to see giant potholes you should come to Cheshire East! I enjoyed the car blog. It almost made me put my phone in place to have a rant myself! Keep at it, you’re much appreciated. The music at the beginning is SO relaxing!

Oh no, it’s very common isn’t it, I haven’t been properly diagnosed yet still waiting for my appointment to see the specialist. And yes we have to plod on as you say lol ❤️🌹❤️
Hi Lynn, l have Osteoporosis in my spine, knees and hands. I go to hospital once a year for an infusion to help my bones as I fell and fractured my wrist. I have been three times now and after having a Dexa scan it has made an improvement . I am on calcium and vitamin D tablets on prescription. I also have Angina, no fun getting older. ❤️
Oh I’m sorry to hear that Patricia, as you say, it’s not fun getting older. I haven’t had a diagnosis yet, so I’m not sure what mine is. We don’t half have some problems, but we carry on don’t we ❤️🌹❤️

Lots of pot holes around our area too Lynn, even when they resurface it’s never a good job as soon as anything heavy goes through it leaves ruts not like in the old days when they used a steam roller 😂.
I didn’t know what colour fascinators you were looking for as I have 3-4 in different shades of pink 2 of which I’ve used the others I bought and weren’t quite right for me I’ve also got a cream and a turquoise. Hope all goes well for your echocardiogram 🫶

I used to get my salmon fillets in lidl and found them cheaper than tesco. The price of groceries now 🤯 my wee grandoggy does that when im rubbing her belly lol, paws you till you do it again. They're like kids lol. Omg Lynn i tried getting contacts a few years ago at opticians and they had me trying to put them in and i kept dropping them on floor 🙈 then i got one in and couldn't get it back out and panicked. My goodness Lyn we have so much in common, I had a heart monitor on at weekend for 72 hours, I have osteoarthritis in my neck & shoulders & seems like my 2 eldest children are of similar ages to yours 42 & 39 🤔. You do make smile & sometimes lol keep doing what you’re doing 🎉X

Thought of you yesterday, as I'm staying with one of my nephews for 2 weeks and we went shopping at Sainsburys in Chelmsford and I couldn't believe the clothes. So many rails and I could have spent a fortune. Resisted (don't know how I managed that) but will be going again next week and I will definately treat myself, although it will be difficult to limit myself. Hi Lynn,the pot hole thing is all over,same in New York,and road works too.I get an Echo,once a year in my doctors office,a technician comes in to do the test,I have congestive heart failure,when I came out of the hospital 10 years ago in August,I had a 20% ejection,it’s now up to 62% which is in the range of a normal heart,anything over 50% is in the normal range,it’s an easy test,just push’s a bit on your chest,maybe as I’m nowhere near as thin as you,you know they need to get through the fat.Salmon,I paid $14 for
454g,it was wild caught,but still very expensive,it’s priced by the pound here,I have bought frozen,and that’s fine too.Chilean Sea Bass always came in frozen to the restaurants I have worked in, as it’s caught off the Chilean cost,in Antarctica,and frozen on the factory ships,same with shrimp always frozen unless you live where the shrimp/prawn boats dock.I always think it funny when someone says the shrimp/prawns are fresh not frozen,as no way to tell if the are professionally frozen in those almost instant freezers.Good thing you,and I don’t live near each other,as I ramble on ❤😊❤
Hi Janet, yes everyone is saying the same thing about the potholes. Oh my lord, I’m sorry to hear that you had that to deal with, thankfully you are getting checked out on a regular basis. The salmon is so so expensive, so is haddock and cod. I buy sea bass a lot, that’s much cheaper. I always worry about buying fresh fishy things, as you say it’s not really fresh is it, not been caught on the morning that they are selling it, unless you go directly to a fishing port. Oh hahaha we would have many a good conversation if we did ❤️🌹❤️

I think the road situation is national, I’m in Dorset, the road works and pot holes are horrendous. I live in a small village with only two exit’s and some idiot decided to do roadworks on both roads at the same time, it was an absolute nightmare getting in and out. And to make matters worse it was the first week of the children’s exams so consequently they were late getting to school, as it they haven’t enough stress. Sorry rant over 🤣🤣🤣
Yes I think so too, lots of people have said that. It beggars belief what stupid person arranges to do that, honestly, it’s just not even normal common sense, who’s in charge of these decisions. Ridiculous. Oh I’m off again hahaha 🌹❤️🌹

Oh my neck aches like mad sometimes worse than others, it’s like my head is too heavy for my neck to hold it up. Strange feeling. The gp has given me a tablet that has calcium and D3 combined. neighbours they have been repaired twice this year ! Watched them do temporary repairs each time.Can I ask what you use on your hair always looks a nice colour and shiny.

Oh it’s shocking, everyone is complaining about it but the holes just get botched. Well to be honest Lin, the last few times I’ve washed it with my shower gel, no conditioner or anything, I think shampoo builds up and makes my hair a bit lank once I’ve dried it. Occasionally I’ll put that blue shampoo on, but very rare. My Joanne is called Jo by most people including me lol, aren’t we lucky to have daughters ❤️🌹❤️

Lynn you should have been on calcium since you went into menopause. I take B12,calcium with vitamin D and d2 also stress vitamins

Hi Beautiful, loved the video today. So much fun spending the day with you.I still can't get over how inexpensive your groceries are there. I do have to admit, it really bothers me that your neck bones are so brittle. That's just not good news at all. Is there anything they can do to stop the deterioration? I hope you don't have to wait long for an appt. with the specialist. It's a shame it takes so long to get an appt. with drs.there. I guess every country has issues of one kind or another. Oh the potholes, we have the same problem here. It's horrible. It's those darn big trucks that go down these roads that are way too heavy, and they break up the road. All they do here is patch work also. Doesn't last. Tomorrow is our 4th of July celebration. It is also my oldest son's birthday. He'll be 48. That's just crazy. I'm not old enough to have a 48-year-old son. LOL. I don't feel old enough to anyway. We won't be doing anything special. I will be going out to get groceries that we need. If the kids were around, we would do something special, but there will be lots of fireworks all over. Though it's supposed to have thunderstorms again tomorrow, so we'll see. We are having one of the wettest summers that we've had in a really long time. I don't blame you for being nervous about hurricanes. It's not fun. I would love to move away from here and go somewhere where they don't have them. I've dealt with them all my life, and I'm so tired of dealing with it every single year. And now with hubby's health, we just don't have the option of leaving any more till it's over. Katrina was the worst one. It was like a ghost town when we got back home. Absolutely nothing was open. Couldn't get gas, food or anything. We were going to a Civic center to pick up military MRE's to have food. It's the prepackaged food they give soldiers during wartime. I have to admit they weren't bad though. And it was food, so I wasn't complaining. We never went hungry, though. And I was glad it was near my house because I had to drive there so I didn't want to run out of gas, or I couldn't have made it there to get food. It looked like a war zone. We had military everywhere keeping an eye on things, mainly to protect people's home and businesses against looters. Our home didn't suffer much damage, thank God. We did have some roof damage, but I don't know a home that didn't have some type of damage during that hurricane. I am going to look up the one I saw on RUclips a while back that hit Florida. They have a video of the whole hurricane, you might be interested to see it. The worst is definitely the floodwaters that come. And then of course going without electricity for so long. They had tons of crews from all over the place that came and helped with getting power back to everyone. It was a crazy time for sure. Back then, we had a little gas generator, that we used just to keep a small window a/c running to cool us down some. Sorry, I got carried away again with my yapping. I'll stop now. Hello sweetheart, I enjoy filming in the car, I could spend all day in there haha. I think it’s a matter of swings and roundabouts, you probably have other things that will be cheaper, or maybe better salaries, I don’t know for sure,but it usually works that way. My necks been bad for ages, but you know how it is, you just get on with it, and I’m not surprised it’s wear and tear, it’s very common isn’t it. Hopefully the tablets will help to stop further deterioration, and she’s referred me to see a specialist, so I’ll see what they say. I agree, it’s those massive Lorrie’s, so many of them ruining our roads, but it’s so dangerous. Aw happy birthday to your son, it’s Jos birthday on the 5th tomorrow, she’ll be 41. Wow no you are not lol, far too young my love, how did that happen hahaha 🤣 it’s the same here, I’ve never known so much rain at this time of year ever. I honestly don’t know how you do it, i know for sure I wouldn’t be able to deal with that kind of weather, I would be a nervous wreck. It sounds horrendous to live like that, like a film that you would see at the cinema, I honestly can’t imagine how that must have been for you my darling, it gives me the shivers to think of you living like that. I could cry thinking of it. I can’t watch that Donna, I would have nightmares on repeat, like Groundhog Day, extreme weather like that is so scary, and lots of people left devastated, some losing their lives, homes wrecked, nooooooo I darent see it.
