I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos Steve I got a bass tracker classic for Christmas and I'm taking my bank knowledge to the boat side im trying new things and your videos help me a lot I'm learning but having fun doing it thanks for the tips
It's great to see you've got some more videos out, Steve! I've missed your videos, man! Keep 'em coming as often as you can, 'cause us guys that are too unhealthy to go out anymore, really enjoy the outdoors with you. I turned my dad onto your videos about 9 months ago, and he can't stop watching them. Haha! God bless you, Steve!
This fisherman records the fails right along with the wins that is a true fisherman because that is how it happens and something as simple as a scale on a hook Can make or break a day so true some how his videos seem so much more real than most of these fishing channels That being said Great video I learned something
It's great to see you back on the water catching those monster blues, I learn a lot from watching videos you make, along with Kris from Muddyrivercatfishing and Luke from Catfish and Carp. Unfortunately for me the lake here in Kansas is still frozen over so I stay busy working on peoples fishing poles and reels doing repairs in my little shop. Aloha from Kansas
@@SteveDouglastheCatfishDude I gotcha. Appreciate all the info you give us. We have always anchored for catfish. But are trying to learn the tricks of trolling/drifting. We have a ton of standing timber in our area lakes in South Carolina. So learning where we can drag baits is killing us too. Without losing all our gear. Thanks again
I'm having electronics installed on my boat this week, so it is just good to see someone out there putting some fish in the boat! Always enjoy your videos!
Good to see you back on the water man. Seems like the deeper you get into the fishing business the less time you have to actually fish. Glad you enjoyed yourself! 😁
I Enjoy Watching All Of Your Videos ,There Is Always Information That Can Be Used From All Of Them ,Such As The All To Comon Rookie Mistakes ,Just A Great Reminder That We Can All Use
May i ask what brand of hooks are you using now ,in one of your older videos you said you were trying out a new kind but thats the last I saw. Thank you
That trolling motor is awesome for drifting. I like suspend fishing alot. I've forgot to make sure the hook point is scale free and missed good fish before as well. I've never thought about how the head is sometimes a double edge sword...ur right though, that's something I will keep in mind. Thanks for sharing with us!
Steve, the iPilot Link has a cool feature where you can tell it to "Go in X direction..... at Y speed.... and hold the boat in Z depth at all times". You have to have a Lakemaster chip and a Humminbird graph.
Great video and information!!!!

You ever use the spot-lock feature on that to fish for them off the bottom?
Would this technique work on a lake/reservoir instead of a river?
Great to see another video from you Steve
No more snell knots on circles??

Have you ever fished Kentucky lake? Just wondering if it would be worth the drive. I live in central ky as well.
Hey Steve. What do you do when it's kinda windy? Do you drift with the wind or against it. Or does it not matter really. Thanks! Love the video
depends on wind speed if its light ill go with the wind if its heavy i go against it for better contol

How many fishing poles are you allowed to have in the water at one time?
3 pole limit per person in the water at a time. With an Indiana license

How would you rate the lowrance hook 7 I been thinking about adding one to my boat

I've never thought about how the head is sometimes a double edge sword...ur right though, that's something I will keep in mind. Thanks for sharing with us!
Ain’t nothing like watching Steve Douglas while frying todays catch
When using a conventional T. M. Set it straight and use your boat motor to steer, works great , takes practice
Now if u were going east or south can u do the same
Mr Douglas, love your videos brother. I have made that same mistake with the fish scale on the hook tip before I know that feeling!
good to see you back out on the water!
Awesome video man. I’ve got some pond catfishing in my channel... definitely not as big as the stuff you catch but...
Steve, the iPilot Link has a cool feature where you can tell it to "Go in X direction..... at Y speed.... and hold the boat in Z depth at all times". You have to have a Lakemaster chip and a Humminbird graph.
Glad to see you back Steve!

I`ve been missing your video`s
Steve, still was a great video a lot of info and we saw the rods bend.
What do you know ol Steve made another video. I like his videos but no near enough of them.
You still do vidya's?
You gotta get you a bird to run with that Minn kota. I-link man its great
"Puts net on roof of boat"
Havnt we learned not to do that? Lol
What's really funny is that net will hang on everything on the boat when you don't want it to lol, but need it to hang up to keep from losing it. Lol
Ain't that the truth especially rod holders. There net magnets.
