@wilsonbh If there aren't any imperfections in them you may be able to. They aren't to hard to replace however. While you have everything torn down, sometimes it's easier just to replace them if you're doing the bearings anyway.
Thank you for your video showing me some tips for my ranger. Really appreciate it and looking forward to check out other stuff I need some tips and will use your video.
do you guys usually replace your wheel bearings and seals when ever you replace your wheel hub assemblies or rotors or lube up your old ones and re-use them if there's no major wear?
Ahh, that's why my stealership said I needed all new front suspension to fix the horrible shaking after front brake job. I changed the rotors and I bet I forgot the races because I reused the old bearings. D'OH! I told them I just did the brakes! Still threw $1200 worth of unneeded part swapping at it. Darn-it. Thanks for the video.
+hanksgavin Thanks for watching. You can save yourself a ton of money next time by ordering through us and performing the job yourself. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com
I have an 03 Ranger XLT and the front right wheel bearing is bad. I don’t have access to tools and so I have to take it into a shop. How much should a new bearing cost with parts and labor?
mate - when will 1aauto accept Australian customers? We are able to import parts from the USA duty free on our end. It would be great if your company would accept Australian orders as you do Canadian.
Spindles can be tough to come by. You may have to buy directly from the dealer, or maybe at a local scrap yard. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com?RUclips&CTA%20Comment&ATony 866-403-3393
We are begining the ship some orders VIA Ebay to Austrailia. If you would like to call our toll free # we can tell you over the phone if we have an Ebay auction for the part that you're looking for. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
@jvardakis HI, we actually have a great video that will show you how to change the wheel bearing on a 1998 Ford Explorer. Hope this helps you out. ruclips.net/user/1aauto?feature=mhee#p/search/0/vHzgw8vnYg8
This video should show you how to remove the front wheel bearing on your Ford Ranger to help fix the issue that you're having. We carry new replacement wheel bearing for your truck on our website with FREE SHIPPING in the lower 48 states. Here's a link to them on our website. www.1aauto.com/1A/front-wheel-bearings-and-hubs/Ford/Ranger/-/-/1993?VideoReply&RUclips&ATony
Because I did that and the new bearing (inside one) broke after a couple of hundred miles. I believe the races get hardened in places, and the new bearing doesn't quite match the old races. (I don't really know the cause of the failure.) It's a pain to press in the new races unless you have the tools. I suggest just buying a new rotor. It will come with new races installed. If you buy online, it's about $45 nowadays (2/20/2022).
They will only sell me hub bearing now because of safety. They told me to cut the abs cord if my front doesn't have it.... 04 ford ranger 4 cylinder 2.3
As big as A1Auto is I would hope you had a work bench to do jobs like this so the camera could actually see what you’re doing instead of trying to do it on the floor
Those rotors wouldn't have passed state inspection in Maine why didn't you replaced them at the same time. If you had this would've been 1 video...er Oh I see where I went wrong Hahahahahaha.
I think it'd be good if you all had a second camera guy you definitely needed the zoom in on several areas now I have to watch another video because yours wasn't very good.
Part 2? So this is how to remove a tire, caliper, race and bearings..... Not how to install the bearings. You speak worse engrish than my old lady, she's Korean and slices and dices the enrish vernacular too. But she has an excuse.

Tackling this tomorrow, good to know it's standard procedure from a time when things were built to be serviced
27 MM Impact Socket takes the Outer Race out easy !

How do I remove the stub.
u explain it so well thank u , I haven't had anyone work on my truck , I've done it all because of RUclips
If the rotors are bad you could ansl do this to the new rotors if they didn't come with the races in them.
I like that you have the same year, model and color as I do! Willow green. Nice video.
Thank you for your video showing me some tips for my ranger. Really appreciate it and looking forward to check out other stuff I need some tips and will use your video.
It may be a different procedure.

I wonder how one can fit aftermarket rims on there with that sticking out of the hub? Spacers? Anyway to modify that to not need spacers?
We'll keep this request in mind in the event that we need to make this repair in the future.

Do you have a video to do a 1994 Ford Explorer 4x4 wheel bearing?
You may want the check to see that the new bearings are the same as the old ones.
I have an 03 Ranger XLT and the front right wheel bearing is bad. I don’t have access to tools and so I have to take it into a shop. How much should a new bearing cost with parts and labor?
Do the rotors have to have the hub assembly built into them?
+DizzyOGK Yes, the rotors have the hub built in, and you will have to press in new bearings and seals. 1aauto.com
did you find the answer? Watching the video and looking at parts online it seems like they're built in but I'm not sure.
Is it the same on the two wheel drive explorer
Do both sides use the same parts ? Passenger and driver?
+Ozzy Weezie Yes, both sides will have the same parts.
hi,could you tell me if 2005 ford ranger, and 2005 mazda b2300 has the same front wheel spindles, thank like your show
Is it normal to have play on the rotor after beating replacement??
Very thorough. Nice video. Thanks!
+Jeff McCuistion Thanks for watching. We're glad you liked it. 1aauto.com 866-403-3393
While your doing races, why not rotors to?

where can I find a replacement spindle exactly like this one? Ever your website does not show one available.

I got mine from ebay
THANK YOU!!!!
Great video! Keep the videos coming. Thanks
+Michael Morris Thanks for watching. We look forward to working with you in the future! 1aauto.com
Can you use a socket to punch out that race
Why removed the caliper separately from the bracket and not just remove the caliper and bracket in one assembly ?
Can this be applied to a 2001 explorer xls 4x4?
4x4 is completely different
is it the same for a 2007 Ford Ranger RWD
It says for a 95-2011 in the title bud

If the bearing is seized to the spindle you will need a replacement knuckle/ spindle which will require removal of ball joints as well
If the races are smooth, why not leave them in and just replace the bearings?
Because I did that and the new bearing (inside one) broke after a couple of hundred miles. I believe the races get hardened in places, and the new bearing doesn't quite match the old races. can you do a video on how to replace ball joints on a 2wd 1996 ford ranger ?
Great video; thanks.
Is the 4wd the same?
It should be a similar repair. 1aauto.com 866-403-3393
