the shifts get faster at Wide open throttle im sure, just like VW GTi DSG in manual mode. relaxed throttle position gives a little lag for a more comfy shifty in manual mode.

I love these modern Cadillacs design, they are my favourite US cars. It is better that you got those for us in Europe rare cars to experience than some common sport/supercars that you see any day anyway

The knob is always in the same place so you do not have to take your eyes off the road and it helps to make sure you don't hit a million other buttons than the one you meant like with QUE. iDrive is infinitely many times more refined to use and simple, and BMW gives you actual knobs and tactile buttons for climate control and the radio so you can easily find them while driving without having to worry that you accidentally swiped another button while driving. Most reviewers I've seen said they would buy an M3 solely for the better infotainment experience because QUE is a slow heap of trash that should have been abandoned years ago.
Again, the chief engineer for this vehicle with Cadillac will tell you they beat DCT shifting times with this special single clutch. They thought it was absolutely necessary to keep the smoothness of a single clutch torque converter in a luxury saloon no matter the power; so, they further developed the classical auto.
Shmee if you could, please turn stereo microphone off when you're recording these vids. It feels kind of frustrating when one side has a lot of volume and the other has barely any. Thanks and keep up the awesome work!
Next time you visit, you can head towards Fujairah. There are some great twisty roads in the mountainous area just off the motorway. No speed cameras or police. Great for hooning around :)
The 8L90 transmission was not designed with the paddle shifts in mind (See Dave Leone) YT interview about the car. This transmission was designed to auto shift as fast as a DCT.
I love the CTS-V in Phantom Gray with all black interior. Thats my idea CTS-V that I will definitely own. The CTS-V transmission, 8L90, is brand new and will be laggy. There is already issues with the 8L90 on the new Escalade.
The shifts aren't quick because you're not pushing it. Let her go at soon as you hit around 6k the shifts are as quick as a PDK. That has even been tested and proven. Pretty incredible

It looks pretty cool, but I think the back is a fail. The front is so sharp and aggressive while the back is all rounded. It doesn't match. Also, the wheels look a little small compared to the huge body.
