Just dropped my E550 for one of these in white, lovin it.....sooooo much. No fancy interior and its missing a few other amenities but when you mash the throttle all is forgotten.
This reviewer is a very good presenter. He succinctly described the changes to this new generation CTS - V chassis in a way that I easily comprehended. Thank you and keep up your high standards of production.
Its actually been a competitor on the track since the 2009 Model. I own one...quality/fit and finish aren't quite there with the 09-14 model, but the reliability and durability of the engine/drivetrain/suspension/breaks definitely is. Nurburgring Lap times show it is HIGHLY competitive.
I always loved the CTS-V since the First Model when it was first introduced with the LS2 and LS6. This one will be the deal breaker that I will definitely buy for the long term.
Keks Monster Don't get me wrong. I understand the purpose and appeal of electric and hybrid cars, but I still love the fact that there's an old-school style Cadillac that is powered by a Corvette engine available.
No they're not. Not even close. Jesus you idiots are delusional. The only "hybrids" that are faster than this CTS-V are the LaFerrari, Porsche 918 and the McLaren P1. All of which cost around a million dollars. And most of their speed comes from a 600+ HP gas powered engine, not electric.
Vernon Price Yes, there are "hybrid" supercars, but I was talking about the trend towards more green, Prius-like cars that are starting to become more common.
***** My comment was in response to Keks Monster , who said electric cars and hybrids are "way faster" than the CTS-V. So again, the only hybrids or electrics that are actually faster than the CTS-V are the 918, the P1 and the LaFerrari, all of which cost around 1 million, and get most of their power from 600+ HP gas engines.
Man I had an 09 CTS V AND IT was a manual six spd 556 HP and traded it for the new 2018 with the wife’s approval lol but the boost in hp and the handling of this new CTS V is awesome not mention that when I pull up in this thing its a serious conversation peace.
The carbon fiber is not faux. Everything you see is what it is, Cadillac is very passionate about that fact. If you are to review products you must be knowledgable of the product. Someone out there worked really hard on this product that you barely did justice. Where is Cooley!?
Good honest review. Too many reviewers are jaded and/or do not want to admit that a car with this power and torque requires respect. Fix CUE, some interior changes and maybe a better gauge pack......why would you not want to cross shop this great car. Wish they would a V8 ATS as well.
Awesome car, nice review and I like almost everything I've seen from the new Roadshow channel, but guys lay off the filters on your videos. The cinematography looks good already, you don't have to apply a blue-green filter to everything.
Caddy has really taken the Gerry's seriously and the 16 V now requires a 'break in' period of 1,500 to two thousand miles and the car likes to be warm before you flog it, you go GM.
Compare to MB and BMW, the Cadillac out performs both and has a better ride. Funny how nobody had put this car on a track with the other two but there were plenty of comparisons with the second gen CTSV with the current M5. Where are those same people now? BMW will wait until this car is two or more years old and then pounce as they usually do.
That car for the money in no way should it have pull up shades in the back...who ever thought of this and let it go in production should be fire...are you kidding somebody is not paying attention to what's going on
Uh that would be real carbon fiber and might I say some of the best. Glad you found it comfortable and easy to drive......uh or was that to much of a track machine.
what's the point of cars like these you can't really use the power unless you want to get into trouble even taking it to a racing track would be pointless because of your car warranty will not cover it he looks nice though.
Still looks cheap and shitty vs BMW, Audi, merc...Great, I want some old senior going 110 mph down the road...Caddy, you are so phucked up in your design priorities!
Every video of this car makes me want to buy a lotto ticket.
Ditto
If I win the lotto top prize, I'm getting this JOINT!
Curtis Reid just wait for a lease return and you can find them in the low $40s! That's $6-700mo.
Curtis Reid me too !
Just dropped my E550 for one of these in white, lovin it.....sooooo much. No fancy interior and its missing a few other amenities but when you mash the throttle all is forgotten.
Christo Franco I traded my 15' 328i for a 13' model CTS V coupe... Love it as well. It's an animal!
The legend of Cadillac still lives on!!!Amazing car!!
I like how their car reviews are longer and more informative than they were last year, you guys are improving for the better

A remarkable car, and a quality review. Thank you AG.
What a beast of a car, a real competitor to BMW's M5 and Benz's E63.
+Mark Law Competitor? It's way above their pay grade.
+PUNKem733 in terms of track performance and road compromise and quality yes. but in paper numbers, they're near the same.
Got a link?

amanoncrack Thanks for the support man!
I have the cts non V model and they r beautiful, soon I will be buying this beautiful!
a fucking monster.
Is it perfect? No, but that this car exists in an era of hybrids and crossovers makes me happy.
why ? i think electric cars and hybrids are great :) theyre way faster too ...
Keks Monster Don't get me wrong. I understand the purpose and appeal of electric and hybrid cars, but I still love the fact that there's an old-school style Cadillac that is powered by a Corvette engine available.

Cadillac: number 1, what else?

Great job, Antuan.
I give this reviewer a ton of credit.
I would buy this car in a second, if I had the money
HKM _ just wait for a lease return and you can find them in the $40-45k range! $6-700mo...
Thanks for a review of America's import fighter! The CST-V has always done well in the segment but now it has all the luxury features
Love this car, love it.
Great car, but the reviewer was exceptional...keep up the good work guys.
😍😍 I love this freaking car
What an awesome car

Exactly, how does he not know that type of stuff and call himself a reviewer.
+ChrisInyaass™ yes, he isn't doing anything worth remembering here. he doesn't even seem passionate about cars.
+Kcus Kcidu I noticed the lisp. Where does that come from?
+mines2680 Another thing I just noticed. He said with the first generation Cadillac put the biggest engine in the biggest Cadillac. He's a pretender.

That car for the money in no way should it have pull up shades in the back...who ever thought of this and let it go in production should be fire...are you kidding somebody is not paying attention to what's going on
Tyson, please sssstpop!
how can I become a reviewer? that's my dream job.. what matt Farah and this guy does.
i would say get a journalisim degree with majors in automotive.
Sameer Siddiqui Would work, but over the top indeed. But hey to each their own..✌
No Cooley! :(
Uh that would be real carbon fiber and might I say some of the best. Glad you found it comfortable and easy to drive......uh or was that to much of a track machine.
+rueben44 In fact he his contradicting his statements a few times.
$89,000!!!!
I don't Wana see Antwan without pants
what's the point of cars like these you can't really use the power unless you want to get into trouble even taking it to a racing track would be pointless because of your car warranty will not cover it he looks nice though.
well then wats the point of a Lamborghini or ferrarri?
Because driving one makes you feel like a god.
what is the point of buying a let's say 5000$ guitar when you can play every song on a 100$ one? it's better, you can do more and better, got it now?
All GM Performance cars are covered on the track.
The original CTS wasn't the biggest car in the lineup.... Just saying.
yesth
holy shitballs

i thought they got rid of this guy. ugh!
Still looks cheap and shitty vs BMW, Audi, merc...Great, I want some old senior going 110 mph down the road...Caddy, you are so phucked up in your design priorities!
