This Would fit right in at Matt's Offroad Recovery. Only thing I would add would be some way to cover those toolbox's from mud and water because I wouldn't wanna open those nice clean drawers with 3 inchs of mud packed to the front of them during a recovery. Not that this will likely ever see much use as a rescue vehicle.
It's what makes Matts Offroad unique, Trail Mater too. Not only do they build the show quality vehicles, they actually uses them for real work. Matt even drove the Morvair to the Rubicon, no trailer. Gotta appreciate that.
This a cool rig, Matt has attention for function over form, this truck has 500+ lbs of unnecessary weight. Ring gears around headlights for example, pinion gear on radiator cap.
It looks like the one Mat's off road recovery is building, maybe he saw yours some where and then decided he wanted one for his business, except yellow which is his trademark, nice👍
I'm not a native English speaker and also not an American. I wonder if presenter in the video has something common with the presenter in Rubin's report, their accent and/or manner of speaking seems very similar. Are they from same area or something?
That’s right someone did mention that, an event or competition, I think it was Matt... Fabrats is in the middle of building a new wrecker too, and if Robby gets his butt in gear he has plans for one also.
Matt's build is for actual functional daily use. The Dodge in this video is cool, but it's a "show" truck as he states and is unlikely to ever spend time actually doing recoveries. It's more likely to cruise the show circuit.
@@sjv6598 Once again, it's a show truck that wasn't actually built to do recoveries, it's got a fixed jib/boom with a single rear winch and a single front winch. It's a show truck that can wheel. It wasn't built to be a recovery vehicle except on the odd trail run or rare event when it's called into service to pull something out, it certainly can't tow, there would be no control over the lifted and towed vehicle. Matt's truck is actually built to be a used and abused daily recovery vehicle, not just a capable show rig. Same with Rory's Tow Mater, it's a capable tow rig, purpose built as a tow rig, not just a good wheeling rig built to look like a tow rig as this is. If this Hauk truck is a tow rig, then any truck with a front and elevated rear winch could be considered the same.
"all of this wouldn't work" Though I use Amsoil and think its a great product and recommend to anyone you wants advice. Though I'm sure it all works better but not working? No. It would. Just better with Amsoil. Great stuff but not magic.
Came here to see what Matt's offroad recovery is competing with. He's got serious competition
ahaha same but i think the budget is quite different xd
Except Matt’s wrecker gotta be built for work not show.
There is always one Faster and always one Bigger....
that teeny weeny dodge frame and axles aint got nuthin on what matts workin with, but we will see if thats a good or bad thing lol
@@Ma77riK I think Matt will have a weight problem. Hope not.
Show builds are cool but Matt's Offroad Recovery is for real.
Pretty sure this is real. It isn't all show.
@@dons8122 Show build.
@@dons8122 bro
just look at rear suspension mounting?
thats a show build
@@chriscoralAloha did you watch the video where they where wheeling with it?
Wow! That is all. Wow!
That's better than little thing with 4 wheels that what his name is building. Awesome!

Looks like Matt's Offroad wrecker will be more functional (when complete) and will eventually be worked HARD like Trail Mater

I would love to have this as my daily ride, nice!!!

@Matt'soff-roadrecovery This looks amazing can’t wait to see Matt’s finished product
That is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen

Isn't it though?! Thanks for tuning in!
Beautiful, made me smile, thank you.
I hope to see this next to Matt’s off-road wrecker from Matt’s Off-Road Recovery
There's going to be a recovery vehicle showdown in the near future. Hope to see you there. Beautiful build.
That’s right someone did mention that, an event or competition, I think it was Matt...
Fabrats is in the middle of building a new wrecker too, and if Robby gets his butt in gear he has plans for one also.
Matt’s off-road has tough competition 😬
I'd love to see this go up against matts off road recovery heavy wrecker when finished...

First year diesel tech here and wow I’d love to build rides like that. What a wicked recovery vehicle 🤘
Really beautiful car. You are very clever and talented.
ITS NOT A CAR
So it's not a car, it's a "Beast"?...and it's great 😉👍🙋♂️🇨🇿
All that nice footage and we didn't get to hear what it sounded like? Darn. Trailmater's big brother looks super nice.
Great job looks great 👍. Head lights great idea
We'd have to agree this build is pretty awesome. Thank you for taking the time to check it out!
Serious competition for Matt’s Off-road and recovery. Great idea on the headlights
No fenders?
I see matts off road recovery must of got inspired by you guys
What music is used in the video?
Thanks for sharing
You bet! Thank you for taking the time to check it out!
Hay I've seen this show before o ya matt's off-road recovery
Badass truck
daaaamn sinister siiiiiiick!!!!

Nice but does it perform az good? Wheres the videos of it putting in work? Just a show piece
Metal masher trail, Easter weekend, is the name of the video. It the best vehicle on the video.
Holy shit that's a fuck'n coool truck!
Cool.
Crazy and useful. The missus can’t put the kibosh on it. 🙂
should call that wrecker DIABLO lol
ida tossed that ram 60 unit bearing pos front axle in the trash.
bro matts off road recovery has some serious competition with this wow its insane
I’d like to see it recover something
❤️👍👍👍👍👍😎
Easily a $10 or $12K vehicle right there !
You mean 100k to 120k?
Came here to see the wrecker, stayed for the porn music.
Damn.....I may have found something I like more than "towmater." I never thought I'd say that.
Payment princess I bet that thing can't even tow
Off road wrecker Olympics?????
I hate new trucks I always say if I win lottery I get nothing new just old cook stuff like this
SubN U up!!!
Hauk Designs customers BUYER BEWARE - They are out of business and screwing over their customers, not filling orders and not refunding paid orders.
Looks fragile
#mattsoffroadrecovery
This beats Matt's truck easily.
That build isn't finished so how can you possibly say that?
yeah, Matt's doesn't even have the radiators hooked up all the way yet...
Cool truck. But it's the same concept as everyone else's builds. They claim to b a custom shop. Looks like a bunch of bolt on parts
What a mess...
Dude just stop talking wow
Oh well. 🥱
