passed four gm products, including another cadillac, yet dodge was the only manufacture called out in the video. seeing as it is a commercial for d3 tuning, wouldn't it be a better commercial if they pointed out how much better it was than the other cadillac?

Hellcat pulled over and let him by. At the end of the video you can see the Hellcat pull away. He could NOT catch it.

there was no hellcat and was a before race free drive no one was trying to drive fast except the Cadillac.
Coming from the real world I do not think you are going to see many CTS_V's chasing down Hellcats or Vipers unless to punt a lot of money into it-

that's definitely a Hellcat...the side of each hellcat has that CAT emblem on the fender. if you pause at exactly 43 seconds you can see it.

You obviously didn't watch the video. The CTS-V caught and passed the Viper. So saying a Viper "would" annihilate a CTS-V on the track is denying what is right in front of your face. Pay attention. And you can call it "not a race" if you want, it doesn't change the fact that the Viper got spanked like a red headed stepchild. Reality, son.
