what i think, what would also be grade A gege foreshadowing is that yuta actually just can stay infinitely long in gojos body, why? Yuta made a binding vow to only use copy for 5 minutes in jjk 0 thats why the 5 minute timer exists. However Kenny explained to us that when he swaps bodys all binding vows he made in the old body become null and void meaning Yuta has no 5 minute timelimit anymore meaning he can survive forever

If I know Gege,then the outcome will be either a combination of the 3 options or it will be an unknown 4th option.
it has to be a one time use, if it wasn't then Kenny would have been at risk of dying if he was knocked unconscious or simply just fell asleep XD, because he won't be able to re apply the CT under these conditions so unless it operates unconsciously then it makes zero sense for it not to be a one time use.
remember also that the stitches are part of a vow Kenny placed on the CT, he probably sacrificed the advantage of being fully disguised as the dead person in exchange for a prolonged activation time, and we can clearly see the stitches on Yuta head.

so unless it is revealed somehow that Yuta copied the original state of the CT not the modified state after the Vow and his Stitches are gone and his forehead heals mid fight XD then no way, he dies after the 5 minutes but then again i don't see how Yuta can't make a vow to prolong it, also Sukuna probably knows Kenny CT secrets and he knows the 5 min vow of Rika because he got the memories of Megumi and Yuji so if he buys time for 5 minutes he wins so why would Yuta even risk that possibility ?
It probably gonna be kenjaku comes back as Yuta in Gojos body then Gojo’s body stops kenjaku and dies. Then Yuji becomes a god seeing his friends die and beats Sakuna

Thinking on it, there's probably a 4th option and that's Yuta is kicked out after the 5 minutes but Gojo's body is still alive. It would work well with the "given everything but unable to do anything" statement as Gojo would still be alive but basically be a vegetable.
In fact, I could see Nobara and Megumi also coming out alive but so irreversibly fucked up they might as well be dead. This could lean into the idea that Yuji is "the one that dies/the one that lives" as he could die fighting Sukuna and actually fulfilling his life's purpose of "helping others"

I think it was explained in some of the recent chapters that Gojo was cut in half because Sukuna made the binding vow to cast a one-time no handsign no chant world cutting slash AND he could specify the starting point of the slash.
Every other one of Sukuna's slashes started somewhere near Sukuna, almost as if they came out of his hand in a way, but this one started right "inside" of Gojo which is why he wasn't even given the time to react because he was cut instantaneously.
Kind of like Sukuna is 1 and Gojo is 2. With infinity up , Sukuna should never be able to reach Gojo, since there are infinitely many numbers between 1 and 2. Therefore, Sukuna simply places his slash at 2 to "skip" all those numbers between them. (sorry this got so long)

5:30 i dont know if this is true, just repeating something ive read. The line where he mentions nullifying binding vows was not saying every binding vow was nullified, instead that once he obtained getos body and CSM he essentially nullified the binding vows with cursed spirits since he could simply absorb and control them

I know they likely had her manifested at shoko, but wouldn’t it make sense to bring her with yujo and have them jump sukuna with itadori and todo? I think the 5 minute time limit is a binding vow that grants Rika immortality. In my eyes it would be a "fair" trade: his cursed technique is literally listed as Rika, so if he loses Rika, he has nothing. So, with that binding vow, he can't lose his technique BUT he is at a major disadvantage during battle, because he can only use his technique at full capacity for 5 min.

Kenjaku's binding vows weren't erased because he switched to a new body though? Otherwise, his binding vows with Sukuna and the other reincarnated sorcerers would be void.
Kenny's case was specific, because he made binding vows with sorcerers AND cursed spirits alike, but possessed Geto's body, who had Cursed Spirit Manipulation which means he could just force the creature to do what he wanted
I heard a theory that the recipe to create a cursed corpse is 3 souls like panda, and that’s what yaga left behind, so yuta, Gojo and possibly either rika or sukunas or kenjakus since rule ate sukunas finger or kenjakus whole body, after the timer they become a new entity and cursed corpse
I think the three possibilities of taking over Gojos body were meant to be questioning about directly how it would affect Okkotsu, not specifically on the technique (even though its about the technique). Since you thought asking 1 didnt make sense since it has already been said several times that only 1 technique can be used at once, thinking about it as yuta "having" the technique vs using the technique. In the way more of if 1. The moment Yuta loses the technique (after the five minutes) he either loses control of the body or dies, 2. he can stay in the body / maintain it for longer than 5 minutes, or 3. He can stay in Gojo's body until something makes him leave. It makes more sense in having a 1. 2. 3. than asking the questions directly since they would affect how long he could be in Gojo's body, from 1. the least to 3. forever (?) it also makes sense to be about Okkotsu specifically since its in the context of Okkotsu using it not Kenjaku.

During the Kyoto Sister-School Goodwill Event, when Yuji fought Todo, Todo explained to Yuji that cursed energy also comes from the gut.
When Gojo was bisected, his stomach was cut in two.
The reason why Yuta survived the world slash even though he was practically cut the same way (in the gut) is because Rika is another source of cursed energy. In Chap 261. he says that the only reason why he's still holding on is because of Rika.
Yeah totally agree, Okkotsu only hung on because of Rika. The fact that he could then heal Gojo's injuries was most likely do to Shoko having prepped and stitched it all up I presume. Thank you so much for the support!
I personally believe that the 5 minutes is going to run out and Yuta is going to resign himself to his fate and Gojo('s body/soul) will reawaken and save him from his loss of CT and the two of them will share the same weakened body afterwards. Then they're never alone and they're surrounded by their loved ones who are now stronger than them
What if there's a 4th option? What if after those 5 minutes Yuta's brain swap technique actually fades away and thus, Yuta would cease to exist, BUt, Gojo would come back? I mean, after seeing all the Gege's work so far, killing another soul would be the most possible outcome. Yuta's reverse cursed technique might come into the play or just the thing that the Gojo's body came back to life and there might be similar situation to Sukuna and Fushiguro, where bouth souls are in one body and after one is killed, the other takes over. Their ancestory and family connection might come into play here, showing that they are connected in some way and shering some thing, you know, manga stuff. Whatever happens one is certain - someone's dying.

My guess is option 4. Gojo feels soul resonance in afterlife and realise his body is getting used then he comes back knowing his students are screwed and it is their last resort. Gojo was fighting for his own satisfaction this whole time but now he is gonna fight for others, his students who is gonna teach him about love .
I think the scar is a binding vow as in that as long as technique is active whoever is using the technique is Kenjaku. Meaning that Kenjaku will overtime take of whoever is using his curse technique and the binding vow could be not being able to return to his original body and to cap the limit of how many curse techniques he can have.
Or yuta learns how to transform the six eyes into cursed objects and move into his body and gain the six eyes for himself. But that’s if the technique is only one use and he can’t use his technique no more.
Yuta might be not only trying to use gojo's body for fight sakuna but also try to revive him by body soul connection or some other curses technique like takaba etc to bring gojo back
Theory: There's a like a foreshadow of what might happen back in Shibuya where Geto's body (hand) acted on it's own to help gojo.
I'm assuming 3 things here:
1)Yuta dies, period. Reunites with the real Rika in heaven. Another Gege attempt to raise the stakes and make it hopeless for the MC's to win then gege pulls something that breaks the internet again.
2)Gojo comes back after Yuta's timer runs out and goes back to his body in a form of a binding bow. Since all they've been hinting about binding bows right now is that there's an exchange, but there's always a timer or limit.
3) Gojo comes back for 1 chapter and power struggles with Kenjaku since Kenjaku was somewhat OP and the CT was originally his, so eventually, Kenjaku takes over Gojo's body and this continues their original binding vow that the culling games will only end with Megumi(body/Sukuna) & Geto(body/Kenjaku) the ones left alive. Then something amazing happens AND (There' s a break next week guys so we'll have to wait. Usual cliff hanger stuff)
Megumi's body is still alive, somewhat. Only 1 of them needs to be alive I guess since Kenjaku (Geto's body) is dead, for the culling game to stay active and end.
Are we going to rule out that Yuta might have pre activated his Domain Expansion before transferring to Gojos Body and picked a katana with Copy curse technique incase the 5 mins. time runs out and brings it to real world?
Then there will be possibility we might even see Gojo wielding a Katana that Rika will hand to Yuta before 5 minutes runts out.
I just wish angel had mentioned it around the time gojo was there before they even fought sukuna that sukuna just has to see a technique one time and pretty much copy it or figure it out!!!!

I've been on team Gojo coming back, but the only way I see that occurring, now, is: Yuta loses to Sukuna, due to being unable to control the powers of Gojo, effectively, so when the five minutes are up, he uses a binding vow to sacrifice himself to bring back Gojo. A permanent soul swap. Yuta takes Gojo's plane ticket, instead. If done, correctly, it would be a fitting end for Yuta because his sacrificed was made out of love and Gojo gets to come back to live a life of accepting that he isn't the strongest and that he doesn't have to do everything by himself.
I think kenjakus technique is intermittent because biologically it would make sense as the brain is a different organ comparing to the body so cells and blood wouldn’t match the brain leading the blood to be insufficient for it and the cells to attack it so CE could act as a body depressant to prevent the body from killing the brain
I think manganamist is buggin here. The scar being permanently shown is a binding vow kenjaku made, but the scar appearing in the first place isnt, it appears due to the opening of the head for the brain swap.
This obviously means that since yuta just swapped there is no confirmation he also made the same binding vow, just that he swapped brains.

My crazy "4th option theory" is that some weird shit will happen with the whole Todo's boogie-woogie + Yuta's time limit. What if, for example, Todo forces Sukuna into Gojo's body at last second before the 5 minutes expire?
- Yuta still dies, returns to his body, or stays in Megumi's body as last resource till he finds a way to go back later.
- Sukuna either dies after changing to a "bad vessel" for him (maybe even Gojo's soul could appear back and "would win" there?)
- OR he gets weakened a lot considering that Megumi was basically a free vessel and that he was in his heian form etc.
At the start of JJK, it is mentioned that cursed energy is stored in the gut I think so that's why gojo might not have been able to come back from being cut in half
Gojo wasn't just caught off-guard, he literally could not have blocked the attack. It manifested within the space he was standing. There was no way to predict it.
my head canon......yuta is in the midst of fighting and when he is at his lowest and almost about to die gojo takes over and talks to him, maybe apologizes to yuta for burdening him with becoming a monster and teleports him back to shoko to return his brain back

Gojo was also hit when Mahoraga used the world cutting slash, despite being on guard. It's not really a matter of readiness here.
The way the world cutter was described to work, it doesn't travel, the moment the cut happens it's targets are already within it's grasp. In other words - the only real way to dodge is to move aside while Sukuna does the requirements for the attack, which would be impossible in this case, where the requirements are skipped.
It does travel there is time between when he cast it to when it lands. We can see this during the fight with kashimo. The real reason is......gojo cant see sukuna's slashes it seems. Maki cam see the air around them being displaced so she can tell its trajectory and if its a vertical or horizontal slash. Gojo dosent have heightened senses like maki

To be specific, the panel you are referring to states that he made binding vows with many,not only sorcerers. I think he was implying other humans but, more importantly here, cursed spirits. This is because he goes on to say that their binding vows are now void "in THIS body" (IE Geto). So, to conclude, Geto has CSM which allows him to void cursed spirits' bindings as he can control them anyway. I could be wrong but, just wanted to state that he didn't specifically say what u said. I used to believe that point too until I reread it and then came to this conclusion :)
i highly doubt its the all time technique. i feel like it would cause wear on the cursed energy reserves. intermitten or one and done seem more likely especially with laid back kenjaku was
I believe its not the first option as we saw kenjaku open a domain. And as we know, after a domain is opened, the user doesnt have access to their cursed technique for a while, if it was the constant activation type, then kenjaku would have died after suffering CT burnout. So thats why i believe its one of the other two
Gojo already knew he could get thru his infinity tho, and he went thru all this trouble to plan out a backup plan, he wouldn't get caught off guard like that
I think the reason it isn't de-activating when using another technique is because it's more passive and works like CE, where your only concern is, you know, not running out of CE
if it constantly took CE, Kenjaku would be swimming in it, but what about when he took over Yuji's mother? Wasn't she just normal? It suggests that it's a one time activation, only activated once and then runs, like a Flashlight. That brings the question, does the CT existence work as the battery? Who knows.
Kenjaku MIGHT have found a way to use different curse techniques while having one already active via binding vow consdering he has actually lived for a thousand years and had time and a good reason to learn something so broken

Mine, it was none of the options... When Kenjaku's brain CT expires, and Yuta is still in Gojo's body, Yuta dies and loss control on Gojo body.. then it is like Gojo's body is back to normal and completed... Gojo will come back!!! One more Gojo's Flashback, before his comeback

I don't think that Yuta is going to die immediately. I think that a lot of people are discounting the highly likely possibility that the end of Gojo's character development will likely be done through Yuta, whether it be through his memories being relayed by him or somehow momentarily regaining control of his body. Either that or a final airport scene...
We know he won't die after 5 min because kenjaku could use anti gravity and a domain expansion the gojo vs Sukuna fight showed that you can't use your CE after do to burn out so Kenny would just follow over dead, he also the person who most likely taught the disaster curses domain amplification and he just fall over dead after using it if he had to have his CT up at all times. The MC squad don't know about that tho

I personally think the limits in rct lie within the spinal cord which leads directly to the brain, a known weakness of rct users.
When todo explains that the cursed energy pool is in the stomach and we know the brain channels it does it mean if you separate the brain and stomach you can't heal

I don’t have a theory on how that will play out, but the strict options may be a misdirection and it’s some combination or more messy option.

Hey! I'm curious about your take on Binding Vows in general? Do you like them? Not like them and why? Would you change how they work?
To me they often seem like "convenient narrative tools" used when Gege needs something to happen and they just can be pulled off out of nowhere with "seemingly" no real drawback. I find them really hard to follow and understand sometimes, because they often just break what we know of someone's technique, making it really hard to follow or predict what will even happen. I'm not necessarily saying it's bad writing, but it is both getting a bit too much for me and I just stopped really caring of who can do what, when they can just think up a binding vow, that will change their powers on an whim. I more often than not just ask myself "Why not Yuji makes a binding vow like Sukuna does to achieve crazy feats"? Idk man... curious of your thoughts!
the effect of Miwa saying sword instead of weapon was huge (sword means she could use other things so wasnt a huge boost)
you are totally right because
1- we know that Yuta made a death vow to defeat Geto, he didn't die though because Rika allowed him to break his part of the vow because she wanted him to live so it isn't a question about the lack of ability to make the such vows.
2-Also Mei Mei said that a death vow is the strongest vow and we can already speculate that the Vow is probably connected to the potential of the user the bigger the potential the bigger the advantage you can get out of the vow, that is further proven by how Miwa Vow flopped, Gege also a fan of HXH and the vows are mainly inspired by the anime and it works the same way there.
3- if Yuta is ready to throw his life to win why doesn't he or Yuji attempted a death vow especially with Sukuna brain damaged and obtaining the same CE as Yuta and with one hand!, surely a death vow would put them above his current power levels that would be more true if Yuta lost to Sukuna again without making a vow of that kind.
4- we actually never see many characters abuse the Vows for survival and turning the tables like Sukuna.
finally i expect someone to use a death vow by the end of the series or it is absolutely just makes no sense

I think the benchmark of being able to hit a blackflash is actually being able to infuse your attacks with cursed energy. Because if I remember correctly a black flash happens when you infuse an attack with specific timing of the attack. I would say preawakened maki couldnt because none of her punches ever had cursed energy in them. If they did then she wouldnt need the cursed weapons.

Surely Sukuna will have some understanding on it so maybe he’s gonna fight differently depending on which of three outcomes it is so if we don’t find out exactly we could tell on how Sukuna acts
I think why Gojo couldn't RCT from the world slash is because his body was in shock , since there was no telegraph he couldn't brace for it the way Yuta and Rikka did so Gojo full on got his top blown off with leaving his nervous system unresponsive promptly in that state of shock.
The same thing happened to Sukuna when Gojo's blue infused black flash slammed Sukuna's back into his remote reversal red, the gut shot completely KOed even Sukuna.
Getting bisected shouldn't be any different I imagine.

2 seems to be the most likely. My theory is that Yuta will reach his limit and be on the verge of death.
He'll probably have some kind of talk with Gojo's soul in the afterlife or something and they'll swap places. Gojo will return to life in his healed body while Yuta dies.

I think if kenjaku comes back in Gojo's body after yuta dies/loses/whatever happens. Gojo might take control to kill him and himself, this will show the connection between geto and gojo as both have that moment and also be like toji
I hope he lives and finds out later in the fight he can still summon Rika as well

I mean, of all his combat skills, his swordmanship is what we are shown he trains and uses the most... so I guess Yuta must be of the opinion that Gojo's hands alone would be more effective than hands + sword? *or* that he plans to focus on using hax and CTs over close quarters combat

It’s basically impossible that it’s continual use unless Gene is going to break canon. If it was continual use then Kenjaku couldn’t use other techniques like he does. As far as I’m aware. You cannot use 2 techniques at the literal same moment and he would have been doing that all along.
yuta should have cursed manipulation and anti gravity because even though kenjaku's brain was in geto's head, its implied rika ate the head along with the brain. in theory, he should have access to rika whenever and can bypass storing only 2 cursed techniques with his copy technique
I think the gojo healing thing is a great question that kinda confuses me too like now we have 2 characters that have survived for a while after being bisected for a while. Why didn’t gojo with the black flash amp use blue to like put his torso back on and heal?
I personally believe gojo WANTED TO be unalived to have the burden of being a monster/the strongest taken off of him. Not saying gojo isn’t weaker than sukuna just saying why else would he smile? In the afterlife and before he ultimately stoped living?
plus kashimo tried to go all out and kill hakari in his jackpot so maybe that means if u do enough damage u can kill hakari like via decapitation
I think it gonna be option 2 but it can last based on amount of ce you put into it and my prediction is that yuta will ran out of ce in a fight with sukuna and we know how kenjaku ct work that way

Itd be crazy if yuta did a binding vow and gave up Rika or at least the physical manifestation of Rika in order to keep his copy technique permanently to counter his 5 min time limit
If he got all the saved cursed techniques from kenjaku like he does when he takes over a new body and he doesn’t just lose the technique after swapping like how was able to use yuji mom anti grav without being in her body anymore. Then there is no possible way Yuta doesnt uzumaki rika away and blast tf out of sukuna maybe in retaliation of a fire arrow
I think it's either option 3, or a secret 4th option. I don't know how interesting it is narratively for Yuta to just drop dead due to a time limit, nor would it be particularly tragic because Yuta was going to die anyway.
Plus, we've seen Kenjaku use his domain and suffer CT burnout, so option 1 shouldn't be possible.
Yuji activates his Domain which affects the soul. he precisely separates both megumi and sukuna as well as Gojo and Yuta Siuls from the bodies, saving them.
@5:23 Thats not what he was saying. He was saying that the vows he made with Cursed Spirits (specifically) became void when he gain Getos Body (specifically). Because he then gained Cursed Spirit manipulation, therefore he could/can just force all those spirts to do what he wants. He no longer has to "bargain" with them
Could Kenjacku's binding vow be that as long as he has that scar that tells everyone who he is, that he doesn't have to maintain his curse technique 24/7?
I think there's a hidden fourth option. Ears technique modifies where you are, you're permanently that. So that means that because he turned yourself into the brain thing he would be able to swap bodies permanently cause that's the technique. The technique turned him into a cursed object. A brain that can control a body that it is put into as long as that body isn't too badly damaged and even if it is it can heal itself up pretty good, so technically if. Go. Jo's body is too damaged and they manage to Defeat sakuna He should theoretically be able to be placing his skull. And then have his body and techniques, and the way his technique worked is he inherits everybody's abilities? I mean, he wouldn't have access to yeah, limitless.
