When sukuna uses his furnance he could use domain amplification to take the hit from his furnance and since he is protecting himself from his own technique it gets easier for domain amplification to counter the fire arrow and we already know sukuna can use domain expansion and domain amplification at the same time.
I think the reason that Sukuna doesnt get hurt from his furnace is simply because he is just physically strong. Jogo turned a part of shibuya to around 4000 F degrees, and Sukuna wasnt even sweating. Considering that Furnace is def significantly higher I think on top of taking a small amount of damage from ur own technique. I think he also just has a lot of resistance towards fire.

I imagine if someone managed to do the gun reversal maneuver on gojo as he was releasing purple he'd absolutely destroy himself if performed at right time. If sukuna takes enough damage I believe he could panic and hurt himself alot in the moment with his own technique these characters are fast but I don't know if they are them enough mentally and control wise to perform control of all aspects of themselves to where to many people could nullify damage to themselves in the exact instant unless your already intent and maintain that state just as gojo was almost achieving with constantly doing rct untill you'd overwhelmed or lose control or surprised they are theoretically ok untill they aren't. That would be like legendary or god tier defense mc plot armor level stuff this far jjk is proving anything is potentially possible as far as finding a solution to a problem things just like in real life doesnt always go to plan when you have an opposing force. the only character who completely breaks this regard is Hikari

We knew this since the beginning. Take Shibuya for instance. Yuji tanked an unprotected (no reinforcement) Black Flash from Mahito (he was down more because he was demoralized after Nobara got taken out, but after Todo's encouragement he was up and running as normal), compared to Todo who was coughing blood even after using reinforcement to mitigate a different Black Flash from Mahito.

So, yes, that's still impressive, but this is Sukuna we are talking about. Not only did he take a black flash from Sukuna but he kept on fighting to chain more black flashes himself.

I agree with the safety bubble theory for Sukuna surviving his own furnace. Sukuna's MS normally excludes himself from his domain, as opposed to gojo's who targets everything. This was mentioned during one of their domain clashes iirc. I guess the area surrounding him that's excluded from his domain would be free from all the debris that would be ignited after activating his furnace

Maybe a combination of the two, so this is gonna combine both theories: Shrine: Sukuna's Domain Expansion is based on one or more Japanese funeral rights and ritual. Yuji's domain expansion forces necrosis or dry aging or fermentation, whereas Sukunas is a cremation or roasting. In Shinto, often food is left at shrines for the dead, explaining Sukunas regular use of food in his soeech. For instance, gutting Gojo like a fish, and ripping off his scales. Sukuna probably loves fish. Jogo had his eulogy read by Sukuna: "Stand proud. You are strong." We cut to the scene of his incinerated body, or cremation. At Viking funerals, literal flame arrows(Divine Furnace, Open) were shot at boats set to sea with the dearly departed, so that the gods can rise the dead to Valhalla. Ice is placed under bodies in some Japanese rights for the dead, to preserve the body longer so the living can interact with that person one more time before being buried(in snow in Yuji's case), cremated or enshrined. Yuji's dismantle probably represents scissors cutting noodles (like they often do before serving with scissors at Japanese restaurants), one of his favorite dishes, but also can be surgical scissors for when a body is being prepped after death. My only issue with one of the Black Flashes being Sukuna's is that there's no way Yuji just tanks that without budging an inch. Like yeah Sukuna is in a very weakened state but it's STILL Sukuna. He absolutely rolled Maki with his Black Flashes and you expect me to believe Yuji just eats it?
Black flashes aren't all created equal, they're just a 2.5× multiplier on the hit. So a strong center mass hit like the one hit on maki is gonna hurt way more than a somewhat blocked much lighter hit on yuji. Atleast thats how I see it.

0:49 Idk dude, the paneling suggests that after Yuji hit his first black flash, Sukuna tried to use the arm that didn’t get parried by Yuji before the BF hit to try and counter, but Yuji notices (there’s even a little blank white exclamation text bubble that appears right under Yuji’s arm in the panel right above the one shown here, the same one used whenever any character is on gaurd for whatever is incoming) and folds the arm he just punched with in, sending his elbow down to knock Sukuna’s hand away, which results in Yuji’s second BF of the chapter, and third of the fight. Didn’t Sukuna imbue the flame arrow into his domain’s sure hit effect? If so then that would make sense if he’s able to exclude himself from that sure hit effect. Similar to how Yuta excluded Yuji.

not sure if you have watched naruto or not but if you have between the six eyes and the sharingan (including all its stages) which doujutsu do you think is better? the perception ability of the 2 seems about even, both gives user some precog since they are ae to perceive things faster than regular eyes. the six eyes seems to be able to counter the forms of sharingan genjutsu due to the perfect control over ce it gives. maybe some of the mangekyou abilities would put the sharingan above the six eyes? also if you can do you mind explaning if gojo hollow purple actually erases matter or just destroys it cause if it actually does erase matter it would be pretyy similar to the world cutting slash.
I have a theory that is not related to this video. Remember back in shibuya when kenjaku was talking to gojo he was choked by geto(i think)? Well in ch 236 nanami says "..if you want to return to your old self go south" and the chapter's name was going south. Perhaps this could be gege foreshadowing gojo's comeback bc of yuta?

I actually think a Mahito who has 10-20 years would be far stronger than Sukuna and Gojo. We really need to consider how just unfathomably fast his rate of growth really was. Dude developed a complete domain, figured out black flash, and even was able to mimic Gojo's .2s domain activation after only seeing it once upon landing that black flash. He then was able to develop his 'true form', which was so resilient that YUJI'S strongest punches were doing zero damage. Keep in mind this was a Mahito who was at 40% of his max, at best. Mahito's biggest strength isn't just his talent though, but just how hungry he is to grow as a curse. Mahito isn't going to ever settle; we see this when rather than trying to simply avoid Sukuna for his safety, he simply chooses to directly challenge him with his .2s domain. Mahito is going to keep chasing any and every avenue to grow stronger, whether that be refining his domain further, finding new applications for his idle transfiguration, figuring out domain amplification, refining his cursed energy usage, etc etc etc. He's going to keep growing and finding new ways to get stronger, likely even going FURTHER than Sukuna would. What if Mahito gets the idea to do the same thing Sukuna did, using idle transfiguration to somehow merge with/take over the bodies of powerful sorcerers or whatever else. Point being Mahito absolutely has the mindset to climb just as high if not higher than Sukuna and Gojo, and with the right combination of time and challenge, he would far surpass them, eventually.
Also Mahito's essence as a curse is that he's essentially the collective malice of mankind concentrated into a single being. It would make sense that he would eventually be far stronger than any JJK sorcerer eventually.

We already know he can do something similar with idle transfiguration by merging multiple victims together to make stronger minions. What's stopping him from pretty much just merging people to himself somehow and using them like extensions of his cursed energy reserves or even taking their cursed techniques for himself for as long as he has them? With 10-20 years to get stronger and learn from his challenges Mahito would grow completely out of control.
I feel like eventually his growth would plateau, simply because yea Mahito got strong fast, but that was by fighting stronger opponents, so if no one can challenge Mahito, I doubt he would grow much if at all
@@xenostar6482 I disagree, specifically because there was a pretty large gap between Mahito's first fight with Yuji/Nanami and his fights in Shibuya, and Mahito is shown to have grown a crazy amount. We even see just how hungry he is to improve himself. EVENTUALLY he'll find a plateau, but since he knows that Gojo and Sukuna both exist and at the very least has some vague idea of how dangerous they're going to be, he's definitely not going to be complacent at all. Now lets say he manages to eventually defeat them OR they end up taking each other out, then sure Mahito's growth might stall. But as long as he has them in his crosshairs, Mahito is going to keep clawing his way further up that mountain.
Sukuna isn't targeted by his own domain's effect, it was said when talking about how Maugmi had been targeted by Unlimited Void. Since in that space it doesn't count as Malevolent Shrine, it's fully possible that when the domain is "sealed" the space occupied by Sukuna is sealed too, and therefore the explosion never reaches him (just like it doesn't extend beyond the domain's edge). So it's not JUST that he's not targeted by his own domain, because the explosions attack anything within reach, even people with Simple Domain, so they don't depend on the Sure Hit conditions. It's because the domain closes and "cuts" Sukuna out.
My answer to 6:57 about why Sukuna doesnt get hurt by his own furnace is the fact that Malevolent Shrine targets everything EXCEPT Sukuna (Ch 230). Thus Sukuna's flames in his domain would burn everything except himself.
About Sukuna's domain furnace: The author took the time to explain that Sukuna's cursed energy was just the fuel to ignite everything in range and create a HYPERBARIC EXPLOSION". It's no longer just a cursed energy attack, but just an plain, physical world explosion The author also lets us assume Sukuna is inside the range of the explosion, so I'm not sure why Sukuna didn't get burnt to a crisp along with Choso
@ManganimistYT I think Sukuna doesn`t get hit by his own domain because of the condition of sure-hit is: everyone but him, which is different from gojo, which is: everyone that he is not touching is hit by UV, which is different from Yuta's DE, Yuta's DE focus on only 1 foe when he is up against sukuna, jacob's ladder doesn't hit Yuji. I think Sukuna says that about his domain in the latests chapters, and it makes sense for the character, since he doesn't care abaout anyone but himself.
Imo on Sukuna not being hurt by furnace. I think it's a similar thing to Gojo not being affected by his own domain. So Sukuna isn't taking damage since it's his domain ability. Or just Gege forgetting, sometimes it happens.
Full Potential Mahito beats Gojo. His genius and growth are on the same level as Gojo, based on what we've seen, and his toolkit is so massive that he has multiple ways to get around Infinity. Here's a hilariously impractical one: By turning Todo into a minion, he gets access to Boogie Woogie. By punching one of his transfigured humans, he can swap that human with Gojo at the moment of impact and, since he's already in contact with Gojo immediately after the swap, Infinity can't stop the punch.
From a scientific standpoint i think sukunas own CE does work as a reason he survived since Hollow Purple should be much more destructive than Furnace and gojo looked varley hurt by it while also having way less CE that sukuna
On the issue with sukuna not hurting himself with the furnace, I'm pretty sure it was explained somewhere that one of the attributes of domain expansion is that it cannot harm the user. Hollow Purple hurt Gojo because it's a cursed technique, not domain expansion. The counter balance with DE is supposed to be not being able to use CT for a period of time if ur enemy survives, but you get a sure hit attack that doesn't harm you
Sukuna doesn't get hurt by Divine Flame because it requires them to be hit by the Cleave/Dismantle first. He doesn't use this on himself so presuming it makes him avoid the flames
Tldr: Yes he has a small safe area around himself and I think the fire arrow is less of a technique and more of a secondary effect of his technique. Maybe im crazy but It's pretty clear to me that the domain clashes between Gojo and Sukuna gave us the rules of his domain and the fire arrow is just an expansion on those rules. 1. The domain is centred on the shrine not Sukuna himself. 2. Because of the above rule he has a bubble of safety around himself which is why Gojo teleported to give him a hug with his legs before blasting him in the face. 3. If the shrine is destroyed then the domain collapses. 4. The sure hit is cleave and dismantle. 5. Through binding vows he is able to alter the conditions of the domain, for example it's size, but seems to not change the rules above. This seems to be what inspired Gojo to mess with the conditions of his own domain. Also thinking about the way his domain and fire arrow work.. I am not sure about this but.. isn't it stated that he cuts things at a molecular level? If that's the case then speaking from a physics standpoint the energy released from breaking molecular bonds would be mostly released as heat and so if he cleaved and dismantled enough stuff then it would release a huge amount of thermal energy and he might just be gathering that released heat energy and forming the arrow using his cursed energy. 🤔 😅 Maybe the cooking thing is just how Sukuna interpreted his technique cause he didnt understand the physics of it fully in the Hein era. 🤔 If this is the case then it would mean he wouldn't require the domain to use the arrow... Which brings me to something rather big and that is that the fire arrow against Jogo seemed to not require the use of his domain to use. I could be wrong but im pretty sure he didnt have it activated at that time. 🤔 As a result of this I personally have gotten the impression that when he sealed it off in his fight against Gojo he must have made a vow to lock it behind the domain and when he lost his ability to use his domain from brain damage he then had to rework the path to activation and so this domain prerequisite is a result of binding vows made to get his access to the fire arrow back.
It’s a possibility that the black flash that Sukuna may have landed is just a second shot of Yuji’s other black flash, like how Sukuna had 3 different angle shots after his first black flash of Maki
I know of how todo can be special grade. It's really similar to what Homura does to the big bad in Madoka Magica. Basically get a lot of fire power that can be detonated via impact (would charging them with ce make this possible?) and just charge a big ol swap like he might have to vibro slap it up for like 5 mins or an hour straight or some shit to do it but at that point he can basically have a country at bomb/ nuke point.
For Sukuna to survive his own furnace I believe that maybe he did binding vows to possibly reverse the effects of a sure hit and create a sure defence for himself.

Im pretty sure sukuna doesnt get hurt by kamino because he makes it the sure hit. Like his domain sure hit targets everything but him and i think he turns off the slashes to use the arrow. This might be why he only does the vacuum bomb in domain
2 Questions: 1. Last time, I did a Teen Gojo Sukuna gauntlet and you made a great point with Higuruma and his Confiscate decree. I don't necessarily agree with your ruling since his Domain is based around a courtroom verdict but Higuruma's ability is at best circumstantial when used against someone that's not a shonen idiot or villain. That being said, it does ask a question. *How far would actual Sukuna have gotten in the Sukuna gauntlet if he didn't have Kamotoke?* To be clear, I don't mean Confiscation takes his Shrine ability INSTEAD of Kamotoke, but that he just didn't have the weapon at all. Imagine that Hakari intercepted Ureume before they could give it to him. This means it's Sukuna with all his strength and speed buffs, insane CE reserves, no Domain Expansion, no CT, and slow RCT. I think he gets very aggressive against Higuruma and Yuji and immediately tries to kill Higuruma. If his CT comes back after the fact then everything goes to normal. If his CT DOESN'T come back, Yuta & Rika pretty much pack him low diff 2. Who do you think would win in a matchup: Full power Ryomen Sukuna vs Adam from Record of Ragnarok You already know everything to know about Sukuna, but if you haven't read RoR here's a brief rundown of Adam. He is based around the Abrahamic tale of Adam & Eve in that he's the first human created by the gods. The impressive thing about Adam is that he has eyes called "The Eyes of the Lord" which allow him to perceive and copy the movements of an opponent instantly. He's able to beat up gods even before fusing with a valkyrie, and by combining he's able to nearly kill Zeus, king of the gods. His eyes even allow him to perceive and respond to attacks at .0000000001 seconds (more or less). He's also got insane endurance and willpower, able to take meteoric punches to the face and can fight with those same punches for several seconds even after being declared dead. Why I think this is an interesting matchup is that Adam is a "Yuji-like" character that is very simplistic in his thinking. Also his stats only seem to be comparable to his opponent, meaning that, rather than Zeus (Adam) v Sukuna it's Sukuna (Adam) v Sukuna. Even if Adam comes with Zeus' stats I think Sukuna has enough in his bag that it would be an interesting matchup.

I feel like Mahito, if he were to hone his technique of transfiguring humans, could essentially make use of sorcerers as his puppets with their own cursed techniques, like how Geto uses curses with Curse Manipulation, he has been seen to be capable of bringing out a cursed technique in people like Junpei and being capable of clearing the side effects of heavenly restrictions with Mechamaru, so with that he could murder simple sorcerers to make an army of his own or make giant transfigured sorcerers with mixed brains to use their cursed techniques in tandem with one another. Plus his Idle Transfiguration could’ve adapted to be able to penetrate the soul defenses of those who have an understanding of their soul, meaning Mahito could’ve been able to transfigure Sukuna in a 1 on 1 fight if he got his hands on him, and since Mahito was only born when Gojo and Sukuna were existing at the same time, as the laws of equilibrium work, he would’ve been the cursed spirit to rival both of them in terms of his adaptive nature and sheer destructive capabilities.
OH AND LETS NOT FORGET, if Mahito really wanted, he could’ve easily formed an Open Domain Expansion, since the understanding of the inner linings of his soul would allow him to form certain binding vows to create an open instant kill domain expansion, giant hands everywhere grabbing anyone who even has a hint of cursed energy or just has a soul in general
4:11 The one thing people tend to forget is that Sukuna had some influence in the appearance of the Shikigami he summoned (maybe his cursed energy), so Round Deer, Tiger Funeral, Piercing Ox, and Agito would all probably look different if Megumi personally summoned them. The only Shikigami who didn’t change much (appearance wise) was Mahoraga, which makes sense considering how it’s summoning works.

When gojo used purple nuke he said “an unlimited purple not bound by a specific target, it even hit me” according to tcb scans So it’s safe to assume that the fire arrow is just set to not target sukuna
On the Sukuna immunity thing I'd assume that the reason the base version of Furnace is slow, short, and single target. is because he made a binding vow to grant himself immunity and then subverted the vows downsides with the dust explosion method
Sukunas Domain targets everything but himself since the fire arrow works in conjunction with the domain(everything in the domains attack radius gets coated in with the CE from the arrow) it's likely sukuna just isn't a target like he is for the slashes

I think what he did with furnace was that he used Domain amplification in conjunction with his domain to completely negate the negative impact of the Furnace. Within the most recent chapter it is shown that he can do both of them at the same time. So I believe he used it proper or in the midst of casting the fire arrow.
7:54 The manga states that the rubble made my the slashes of Malevolent Shrine is smothered in Explosive Cursed Energy. I think Sukuna's cursed energy is elemental like Kashimo, but with fire/explosions instead of electricity. And Kashimo was completely immune to an electrical attack, even though it wasn't his energy at all, so that is how I think it works.

I imagine if someone managed to do the gun reversal maneuver on gojo as he was releasing purple he'd absolutely destroy himself if performed at right time. If sukuna takes enough damage I believe he could panic and hurt himself alot in the moment with his own technique these characters are fast but I don't know if they are them enough mentally and control wise to perform control of all aspects of themselves to where to many people could nullify damage to themselves in the exact instant unless your already intent and maintain that state just as gojo was almost achieving with constantly doing rct untill you'd overwhelmed or lose control or surprised they are theoretically ok untill they aren't. Yuji's durability is insane. Everyone that has been hit by Sukuna's black flash started coughing off blood and/or was out of the fight.
We knew this since the beginning. Take Shibuya for instance.
Yuji tanked an unprotected (no reinforcement) Black Flash from Mahito (he was down more because he was demoralized after Nobara got taken out, but after Todo's encouragement he was up and running as normal), compared to Todo who was coughing blood even after using reinforcement to mitigate a different Black Flash from Mahito.

I agree with the safety bubble theory for Sukuna surviving his own furnace. Sukuna's MS normally excludes himself from his domain, as opposed to gojo's who targets everything. This was mentioned during one of their domain clashes iirc. I guess the area surrounding him that's excluded from his domain would be free from all the debris that would be ignited after activating his furnace
Thanks! So, If going off the premise that Sukuna's technique is based around cooking, I also feel this could be based around funeral rites as well. Maybe a combination of the two, so this is gonna combine both theories:
Shrine: Sukuna's Domain Expansion is based on one or more Japanese funeral rights and ritual. Yuji's domain expansion forces necrosis or dry aging or fermentation, whereas Sukunas is a cremation or roasting. In Shinto, often food is left at shrines for the dead, explaining Sukunas regular use of food in his soeech. For instance, gutting Gojo like a fish, and ripping off his scales. Sukuna probably loves fish. Jogo had his eulogy read by Sukuna: "Stand proud. You are strong." We cut to the scene of his incinerated body, or cremation. At Viking funerals, literal flame arrows(Divine Furnace, Open) were shot at boats set to sea with the dearly departed, so that the gods can rise the dead to Valhalla. Ice is placed under bodies in some Japanese rights for the dead, to preserve the body longer so the living can interact with that person one more time before being buried(in snow in Yuji's case), cremated or enshrined. Yuji's dismantle probably represents scissors cutting noodles (like they often do before serving with scissors at Japanese restaurants), one of his favorite dishes, but also can be surgical scissors for when a body is being prepped after death. Benevolent Shrine allows both yuji and Sukuna to heal others wounds, due to the fact that it works much like hikaris domain, where it grants the user the ability to use RCT. The shrine is storing things, much like Geges old manga, which is the inspiration for probably a great deal of what is JJK(from what I hear). My only issue with one of the Black Flashes being Sukuna's is that there's no way Yuji just tanks that without budging an inch. Like yeah Sukuna is in a very weakened state but it's STILL Sukuna. He absolutely rolled Maki with his Black Flashes and you expect me to believe Yuji just eats it?

Black flashes aren't all created equal, they're just a 2.5× multiplier on the hit. So a strong center mass hit like the one hit on maki is gonna hurt way more than a somewhat blocked much lighter hit on yuji.

not sure if you have watched naruto or not but if you have between the six eyes and the sharingan (including all its stages) which doujutsu do you think is better? the perception ability of the 2 seems about even, both gives user some precog since they are ae to perceive things faster than regular eyes. the six eyes seems to be able to counter the forms of sharingan genjutsu due to the perfect control over ce it gives. maybe some of the mangekyou abilities would put the sharingan above the six eyes?

I actually think a Mahito who has 10-20 years would be far stronger than Sukuna and Gojo. We really need to consider how just unfathomably fast his rate of growth really was. Dude developed a complete domain, figured out black flash, and even was able to mimic Gojo's .2s domain activation after only seeing it once upon landing that black flash. He then was able to develop his 'true form', which was so resilient that YUJI'S strongest punches were doing zero damage. Keep in mind this was a Mahito who was at 40% of his max, at best.
Mahito's biggest strength isn't just his talent though, but just how hungry he is to grow as a curse. Mahito isn't going to ever settle; we see this when rather than trying to simply avoid Sukuna for his safety, he simply chooses to directly challenge him with his .2s domain. Mahito is going to keep chasing any and every avenue to grow stronger, whether that be refining his domain further, finding new applications for his idle transfiguration, figuring out domain amplification, refining his cursed energy usage, etc etc etc.
He's going to keep growing and finding new ways to get stronger, likely even going FURTHER than Sukuna would. What if Mahito gets the idea to do the same thing Sukuna did, using idle transfiguration to somehow merge with/take over the bodies of powerful sorcerers or whatever else.
Point being Mahito absolutely has the mindset to climb just as high if not higher than Sukuna and Gojo, and with the right combination of time and challenge, he would far surpass them, eventually.
Also Mahito's essence as a curse is that he's essentially the collective malice of mankind concentrated into a single being. It would make sense that he would eventually be far stronger than any JJK sorcerer eventually.

We already know he can do something similar with idle transfiguration by merging multiple victims together to make stronger minions. What's stopping him from pretty much just merging people to himself somehow and using them like extensions of his cursed energy reserves or even taking their cursed techniques for himself for as long as he has them?
With 10-20 years to get stronger and learn from his challenges Mahito would grow completely out of control.

@@xenostar6482 I disagree, specifically because there was a pretty large gap between Mahito's first fight with Yuji/Nanami and his fights in Shibuya, and Mahito is shown to have grown a crazy amount. We even see just how hungry he is to improve himself.
EVENTUALLY he'll find a plateau, but since he knows that Gojo and Sukuna both exist and at the very least has some vague idea of how dangerous they're going to be, he's definitely not going to be complacent at all. Now lets say he manages to eventually defeat them OR they end up taking each other out, then sure Mahito's growth might stall. But as long as he has them in his crosshairs, Mahito is going to keep clawing his way further up that mountain.

Sukuna isn't targeted by his own domain's effect, it was said when talking about how Maugmi had been targeted by Unlimited Void. Since in that space it doesn't count as Malevolent Shrine, it's fully possible that when the domain is "sealed" the space occupied by Sukuna is sealed too, and therefore the explosion never reaches him (just like it doesn't extend beyond the domain's edge). So it's not JUST that he's not targeted by his own domain, because the explosions attack anything within reach, even people with Simple Domain, so they don't depend on the Sure Hit conditions. It's because the domain closes and "cuts" Sukuna out.

My answer to 6:57 about why Sukuna doesnt get hurt by his own furnace is the fact that Malevolent Shrine targets everything EXCEPT Sukuna (Ch 230). Thus Sukuna's flames in his domain would burn everything except himself.
About Sukuna's domain furnace:
The author took the time to explain that Sukuna's cursed energy was just the fuel to ignite everything in range and create a HYPERBARIC EXPLOSION". It's no longer just a cursed energy attack, but just an plain, physical world explosion
The author also lets us assume Sukuna is inside the range of the explosion, so I'm not sure why Sukuna didn't get burnt to a crisp along with Choso

@ManganimistYT I think Sukuna doesn`t get hit by his own domain because of the condition of sure-hit is: everyone but him, which is different from gojo, which is: everyone that he is not touching is hit by UV, which is different from Yuta's DE, Yuta's DE focus on only 1 foe when he is up against sukuna, jacob's ladder doesn't hit Yuji. I think Sukuna says that about his domain in the latests chapters, and it makes sense for the character, since he doesn't care abaout anyone but himself.
Imo on Sukuna not being hurt by furnace. I think it's a similar thing to Gojo not being affected by his own domain. So Sukuna isn't taking damage since it's his domain ability. Or just Gege forgetting, sometimes it happens.
Full Potential Mahito beats Gojo.
His genius and growth are on the same level as Gojo, based on what we've seen, and his toolkit is so massive that he has multiple ways to get around Infinity.
Here's a hilariously impractical one:
By turning Todo into a minion, he gets access to Boogie Woogie. By punching one of his transfigured humans, he can swap that human with Gojo at the moment of impact and, since he's already in contact with Gojo immediately after the swap, Infinity can't stop the punch.
Fall down 7, get up 8. Land 7 black flashes, but come up 8.
From a scientific standpoint i think sukunas own CE does work as a reason he survived since Hollow Purple should be much more destructive than Furnace and gojo looked varley hurt by it while also having way less CE that sukuna
On the issue with sukuna not hurting himself with the furnace, I'm pretty sure it was explained somewhere that one of the attributes of domain expansion is that it cannot harm the user. Hollow Purple hurt Gojo because it's a cursed technique, not domain expansion. The counter balance with DE is supposed to be not being able to use CT for a period of time if ur enemy survives, but you get a sure hit attack that doesn't harm you
Sukuna doesn't get hurt by Divine Flame because it requires them to be hit by the Cleave/Dismantle first. He doesn't use this on himself so presuming it makes him avoid the flames
Tldr: Yes he has a small safe area around himself and I think the fire arrow is less of a technique and more of a secondary effect of his technique.
Maybe im crazy but It's pretty clear to me that the domain clashes between Gojo and Sukuna gave us the rules of his domain and the fire arrow is just an expansion on those rules.
1. The domain is centred on the shrine not Sukuna himself.
2. Because of the above rule he has a bubble of safety around himself which is why Gojo teleported to give him a hug with his legs before blasting him in the face.
3. If the shrine is destroyed then the domain collapses.
4. The sure hit is cleave and dismantle.
5. Through binding vows he is able to alter the conditions of the domain, for example it's size, but seems to not change the rules above. This seems to be what inspired Gojo to mess with the conditions of his own domain.
Also thinking about the way his domain and fire arrow work.. I am not sure about this but.. isn't it stated that he cuts things at a molecular level? If that's the case then speaking from a physics standpoint the energy released from breaking molecular bonds would be mostly released as heat and so if he cleaved and dismantled enough stuff then it would release a huge amount of thermal energy and he might just be gathering that released heat energy and forming the arrow using his cursed energy. 🤔 😅 Maybe the cooking thing is just how Sukuna interpreted his technique cause he didnt understand the physics of it fully in the Hein era. 🤔 If this is the case then it would mean he wouldn't require the domain to use the arrow...
Which brings me to something rather big and that is that the fire arrow against Jogo seemed to not require the use of his domain to use. I could be wrong but im pretty sure he didnt have it activated at that time. 🤔 As a result of this I personally have gotten the impression that when he sealed it off in his fight against Gojo he must have made a vow to lock it behind the domain and when he lost his ability to use his domain from brain damage he then had to rework the path to activation and so this domain prerequisite is a result of binding vows made to get his access to the fire arrow back.
How does Sukuna not get burned by his furnace? Same way he gets out of any danger. Binding Vow.
It’s a possibility that the black flash that Sukuna may have landed is just a second shot of Yuji’s other black flash, like how Sukuna had 3 different angle shots after his first black flash of Maki
I know of how todo can be special grade. It's really similar to what Homura does to the big bad in Madoka Magica. Basically get a lot of fire power that can be detonated via impact (would charging them with ce make this possible?) and just charge a big ol swap like he might have to vibro slap it up for like 5 mins or an hour straight or some shit to do it but at that point he can basically have a country at bomb/ nuke point.

1. Last time, I did a Teen Gojo Sukuna gauntlet and you made a great point with Higuruma and his Confiscate decree. I don't necessarily agree with your ruling since his Domain is based around a courtroom verdict but Higuruma's ability is at best circumstantial when used against someone that's not a shonen idiot or villain.
That being said, it does ask a question. *How far would actual Sukuna have gotten in the Sukuna gauntlet if he didn't have Kamotoke?*
To be clear, I don't mean Confiscation takes his Shrine ability INSTEAD of Kamotoke, but that he just didn't have the weapon at all. Imagine that Hakari intercepted Ureume before they could give it to him.
This means it's Sukuna with all his strength and speed buffs, insane CE reserves, no Domain Expansion, no CT, and slow RCT. I think he gets very aggressive against Higuruma and Yuji and immediately tries to kill Higuruma. If his CT comes back after the fact then everything goes to normal. If his CT DOESN'T come back, Yuta & Rika pretty much pack him low diff
2. Who do you think would win in a matchup: Full power Ryomen Sukuna vs Adam from Record of Ragnarok
You already know everything to know about Sukuna, but if you haven't read RoR here's a brief rundown of Adam. He is based around the Abrahamic tale of Adam & Eve in that he's the first human created by the gods. The impressive thing about Adam is that he has eyes called "The Eyes of the Lord" which allow him to perceive and copy the movements of an opponent instantly. He's able to beat up gods even before fusing with a valkyrie, and by combining he's able to nearly kill Zeus, king of the gods. His eyes even allow him to perceive and respond to attacks at .0000000001 seconds (more or less). He's also got insane endurance and willpower, able to take meteoric punches to the face and can fight with those same punches for several seconds even after being declared dead.
Why I think this is an interesting matchup is that Adam is a "Yuji-like" character that is very simplistic in his thinking. Also his stats only seem to be comparable to his opponent, meaning that, rather than Zeus (Adam) v Sukuna it's Sukuna (Adam) v Sukuna. Even if Adam comes with Zeus' stats I think Sukuna has enough in his bag that it would be an interesting matchup.

I feel like Mahito, if he were to hone his technique of transfiguring humans, could essentially make use of sorcerers as his puppets with their own cursed techniques, like how Geto uses curses with Curse Manipulation, he has been seen to be capable of bringing out a cursed technique in people like Junpei and being capable of clearing the side effects of heavenly restrictions with Mechamaru, so with that he could murder simple sorcerers to make an army of his own or make giant transfigured sorcerers with mixed brains to use their cursed techniques in tandem with one another. Plus his Idle Transfiguration could’ve adapted to be able to penetrate the soul defenses of those who have an understanding of their soul, meaning Mahito could’ve been able to transfigure Sukuna in a 1 on 1 fight if he got his hands on him, and since Mahito was only born when Gojo and Sukuna were existing at the same time, as the laws of equilibrium work, he would’ve been the cursed spirit to rival both of them in terms of his adaptive nature and sheer destructive capabilities.
OH AND LETS NOT FORGET, if Mahito really wanted, he could’ve easily formed an Open Domain Expansion, since the understanding of the inner linings of his soul would allow him to form certain binding vows to create an open instant kill domain expansion, giant hands everywhere grabbing anyone who even has a hint of cursed energy or just has a soul in general

4:11 The one thing people tend to forget is that Sukuna had some influence in the appearance of the Shikigami he summoned (maybe his cursed energy), so Round Deer, Tiger Funeral, Piercing Ox, and Agito would all probably look different if Megumi personally summoned them.
The only Shikigami who didn’t change much (appearance wise) was Mahoraga, which makes sense considering how it’s summoning works.

On the Sukuna immunity thing I'd assume that the reason the base version of Furnace is slow, short, and single target. is because he made a binding vow to grant himself immunity and then subverted the vows downsides with the dust explosion method
Sukunas Domain targets everything but himself since the fire arrow works in conjunction with the domain(everything in the domains attack radius gets coated in with the CE from the arrow) it's likely sukuna just isn't a target like he is for the slashes

I think what he did with furnace was that he used Domain amplification in conjunction with his domain to completely negate the negative impact of the Furnace. Within the most recent chapter it is shown that he can do both of them at the same time. So I believe he used it proper or in the midst of casting the fire arrow.
All mahito had to do is set a binding vow that removes the restriction of requiring touch, and he's unstoppable
