Belal H if you get lure on your gloves then you touch the trap and it smells like lure and they dig it up. You want them digging at the bait not your trap
That must have been an awesome feeling to see them bouncing around in those foot holds..........Awesome job! I'm hoping to accomplish that this season.
I’m in Australia and we can hunt them with dogs, predator calling, or spotlight shooting at night. But I’ve found this to be the most satisfying way of cleaning up foxes! Especially the semi urban livestock killers where shooting isn’t an option but they’re too smart for cage traps. It’s just like fishing 🤙🏼

Old style stakes and a short chain is all you need. Even for coyotes. Prevailing wind direction is important. Good job!!
Old school all the way, I use 2 swivls
But cable stakes are so much easier to carry. And they do hold better.
