Hi, I tried using a color jet Enterprise MFP M480, get problem with the even though I have set the media to a heavier paper...gloss sheet in my case. Some times it work and sometimes not. Any thoughts?
Josh, I am having trouble getting the transparency setting under my source. I have the canon imageclass lbp622cdw. Should I slow down my print so that my white can print?
Awesome video! Is it possible to use the forever flex soft (No - Cut) in my US Cutter MH871? If so can you please advise how to do it step by step? It'd be greatly appreciated.
The Forever Laser dark and Forever Flex soft would have nothing to do with your MH cutter. They are paper that you use with a laser printer. No cutting required at all.
You can use the basic version Vinyl Master Cut to to the outlines to create the white backer and more. You will have to do any editing to the image in another program UNLESS you upgrade to DSR.
I got the forever paper from you and most colors came out great. The only things is red cams out pink and don't know why. When I print on normal paper red comes out great. also I got the white toner the ghost and it come out more as a light gray then white
That is because the program that you are printing from is combining the black and Cyan toners to give you a richer black. I made this Ghost support document that has this and other tips on it - www.uscutter.com/static/PDFs/USCutter-Ghost-Toner-Printing-Help-Sheet.pdf
I used this design on both light and dark shirts. You need to make sure that you have enough toner for the adhesive to activate, and the white layer also helps the color pop better on darker clothing. of course if you use more or less white than is needed, it can change the colors to something you don't want. This video from last week talks a bit more about that ruclips.net/video/armaIB_CN6s/видео.html
Think about it this way... you need a white layer "behind" your color graphics when you transfer onto a dark garment. You're printing your color graphics first. Then you are doing a second print pass on top of that print with white. Q: So the white layer was to keep the CMYK layer the proper shades? A: Pretty much the idea... in print design, like traditional CMYK printing, some folks don't consider the substrate (paper) as a color. Really it's CMYK + (substrate color, like white paper). Print CMYK on white, all cool, print CMYK on pink, everything starts turning more orange and red, print CMYK on black substrate (paper, garment), ehrrr, not so much. So, add a white layer to the CMYK transfer and print on black tee-shirt... All Good! The solution here is a cool low tech work around. I think this modification is pretty cool because you can use off-the-shelf technology. Yes, you do have to switch the cartridge, but that's pretty painless. Turning a standard CMYK laser printer into CMYK + White is WAY COOL! I am voting for Glow-In-The Dark cartridges next LOL!
David Harnden Thus, any color other than a white shirt will benefit from this white layer when it comes to accurate colors. I didn’t even know there was white toner until two weeks ago. Can’t wait to try some of this.
@@allenhuffman Yes... in traditional printing you would call it a "Bump" plate. If you where screen printing, you would print the white plate first on the dark garment, flash heat it to cure it, then print your color graphics on that. This is a similar concept. Artwork for heat transfers are layered "sort of" backwards and reversed. What you print first is on top (the color), then the second pass white is "behind". That gives you an opaque "field" of white, so your colors don't merge into the substrate (tee-shirt) color.
@@uscuttervideos Are you saying you can adjust the White plate density? 50% White vs 25% White vs 100% White... huh. That's a cool variable to think about...
Your design software is having the printer combine Black and Cyan to give you a deeper black. It tries to do this with the White toner in and that is why you have that color. This problem will happen more when printing from a .pdf file too. I personally use .PNG files of .SVG files when printing with Ghost. The Ghost help sheet I created and posted on the Ghost pages has some other helpful troubleshooting tips and things that you may also find helpful - www.uscutter.com/static/PDFs/USCutter-Ghost-Toner-Printing-Help-Sheet.pdf
Are you trying to listen to background music or something? I can hear everything I say clearly when I use a classic 2 speaker and subwoofer pc speaker setup, headphones, 5.1 surround speakers, and then I also cast it to my TV using a soundbar.
By chance, do you have a printer recommendation from HP/Canon/etc, for larger images at 11x17? Where this double pass process can be replicated.
I can't wait to buy white toner! Thank you!
Can any transfers be made without the black cartridge. Meaning can I just print without swapping them out. Just leave white in there

Hi, What papee setting do you have for Laser Dark no cut ?

For my 622 printer and Forever Laser Dark I use Coated 1 as my media type
Great video! Thanks.

Josh, does the cheap version of vinyl master work for this? Thanks for the 🎥

Was this for printing on a dark shirt? So the white layer was to keep the CMYK layer the proper shades?

how do you get the bleu line on a new layer? my demo doesn't do that
I guess that it can't be done in the demo.
How does the finished piece feel on a shirt? As in Soft Hand?
@Greg Witte Cool, thanks :)
Some people like a textured feel to it. To get this you just do a second finishing press with a blank T-shirt.
hi, i have a white toner printer, but when i print the white toner the color looks blue ,,,

How come when I run my second print it’s not sticking
I get me white and when I try to run the color it’s not sticking
Print color first. White prints last.
I thought this was a live video..🤷
Maybe when I get the new studio setup.
sound quality is terrible

Sounds fine here... maybe it was solar flares
