- Thank you for stopping by my personal channel! In this video I take a quick look at the latest little Ghost package from Ghost. I also install the basic driver and show how to increase the DPI when using that driver package.
Print White on T-Shirts, Mugs, Tiles, Bottles and more with a resolution of up to 1200 DPI! Ghost White Toner is great to be used for White under printing in customization of dark textiles. Of course you can also create and print outstanding cards, invitations and other printed matters with Ghost White Toner.

Hi, I hope you will keep making videos. There are not many RUclipsrs doing videos about white toner printing.
I only just recently got my printer. I found that when I got the updated driver I could update the quality settings without going to the UI site with the browser.
Yeah, I know I've been slacking off, but I will be making a lot more stuff for this channel once I move and get my new studio and testing station setup.
Is this some kind of special film in the video or just a regular laser printer transparency?
I'm looking into buying this printer for making PCBs with transparencies and UV film. Prints looks dense, but I need ordinary composite black instead of specialty white.
does the canon EU models need a voltage converter from 220 to 110? or can you just use it in American outlets?

Im planning on purchasing the Canon LBP623, is it compatible with the ghost toner inks, and can I also use other toner brands that is compatible with LBP 623 to print on Forever Laser Transfer papers for shirt printing.

Is there any problem when I switch between the Sublimation toner and the heat transfer toner (in terms of remaining ink from the preceded printings?) and do the toners dry out when you not use them on a regular basis?
No much different with Laser cartridges, have recently been dealing with replacing an Epson 64 inch sublimation printer for 3rd time due to the head drying out for not printing in only a week. Covid pausing has made us hate Epson personally...the most terrible customer support ever. Lasers great, not sure exactly about this one.
Would doing two passes (one with the white toner, one with CMYK) work with holographic paper with this printer? I would like to make holographic playing cards!
He talks about this around 4:45 . Also you can always use plain white and use self adhesive laminate with a holographic effect.
Probably a dumb question but does the ghost white toner cartridge fit the icolor 560 printer? Trying to find a alternative because the 560 cartridge cost close to $500!!

DPI, or dots per inch, is related to the size and resolution of your image. What you want is related to the design itself. Experiment in your editing program with opacity or even half tones to get the desired effect.

Hi Josh. Sorry to add to your list of questions. I need a solution to print white security numbers on clear adhesive labels that will be afixed to the inside of vehicle windows and read from the outside. I will be using white only, no colours. Is the white density enough for this or is it going to be too opaque? I currently have an HP M479DW but willing to buy a dedicated printer for the job. I woulld really appreciate your opinion.
You can adjust the printer density to increase the amount of white that you lay down. I don't have any experience with the model printer you have, but HP should allow you to increase the density up to 10 and you should have no issues. Also make sure to have the media settings set to the correct settings, transparent media if I recall correctly.

You have to look for the one for the HP M254.
Another user stated this info when it comes to purchasing a white toner cartridge. "Search Amazon for Misee Transfer white toner for HP m254 for $100." Continued blessings

I notice on the US cutter site the white ghost toner is out. I also notice they all say HP. I have the little Ghost one LBP622Cdw is the one on US cutter compatible or correct for my printer. Also I did not see the Sublime toners are you all going to sell them as well? Thank you for your time.

There are a few retailers selling this printer for $249. The Ghost White toner is $300. That totals $550. If you buy it from Ghost, it's well over $1,000 for the same thing. They'll bundle their branded toner cartridges with it, but I can't see them being better than the genuine Canon cartridges. They might even be the canon cartridges with the Ghost White name slapped on them for a lot more money.
Can we print 300 GSM Paper ?
Been searching to buy a printer and leaning towards this canon. But the online specs say the dpi is 600x600. Is that just it's advertised efficient way. Will it be capable and print in 1200 dpi if changed in settings
Yes, go to quality and choose 1200 dpi

@@kristamontesa220 Hi Krista, I have been been cleaning the fixing assembly but it still smudges outer envelopes. My assume is that the Absolute toner is causing the issue so I may try Ghost White toner.

Sounds like the CMYK toner isn't fusing that well. I've only had success with OEM HP and Canon CMYK toner. Ghost does also make CMYK toner, but not for every type of printer.

@@vitaniaquinland8560 The Canon printer gives you a larger range of density levels than the HP. The HP is from -5 as the lowest and +5 as the highest. Canon gives you a range of -8 as the lowest and +8 as the highest.
Canon specifies the resolution on this printer as 600x600 dpi, yet the video host claims 1200x1200 dpi resolution . . . has there been a software/hardware/driver upgrade that permits the higher resolution?
Did you watch till end where he shows how to set it to 1200 dpi?
@@hfriedman5413 Yes - this appears to be software emulation, not native 1200 x 1200 dpi; unless the printer engine was modified, it's still 600 x 600.

Blessings. I am literally getting ready to ship mine back to Amazon. I have the LBP622CDW and I prefer the HP 254dw. Printer $400, paper $200, ghost toner $300, and it's still an issue with the registration marks so I am going to go with white toner transfers.

I can not seem to be able to enter my IPv4 into my browser and get the Canon log in page, what am I doing wrong? I need to adjust the % of toner color as my blue is coming out purple. Please help :(

What did you change the print density to?
I set it to the maximum at 8. The range was 8 through -8 with the default density setting at 0.

You'd have to buy the Ghost sublimation toners to use in it.

The cartridges are all sold out.
At $300 for the Ghost Cartridge alone, that's way too expensive. Honestly, you are better off just having any prints you need in white to be done by a 3rd party at a much cheaper rate.
But, if your running a small business you don't have time to run to 3rd party frequently and you'd be hard pressed to find one that can do this particular paper. If you're a small business 300. Is worth it
