    I just closed my shop down due to not liking pod prices but man I may have to invest into this printer and reopen my shop . I was getting some good organic traffic with only 70 listings.

    Dude, I just got an iColor 800W and it won't print grayscale images at all. Can you help?

  • @SewandPrintwithJulia
    @SewandPrintwithJulia 2 года назад +1

    Did you rasterize the image in the RIP software to get a softer hand to avoid that paper feel or does it still feel like that after rasterizing? I couldn’t tell if you did that with the image. I’m thinking of getting an iColor white toner printer.

    Thanks for the video Rich. What is the maintenance like with a white toner printer? Do you have to run it daily, to keep the heads clean and unclogged like the DTF printers? And, do you think it is a good investment for someone just starting out? Or, would it make more sense to outsource my transfers from other companies?

    • @nestorsaporiti235
      @nestorsaporiti235 9 месяцев назад

      There is minimal maintenance required on white toner printers compared DTF

      I'm using the iColor Standard Two-Step transfers without issue. 600x600 dpi, bypass-tray, Paper Type: Thick to 220g, Press 1: Apply adhesive 310F for 90s, Press 2: onto shirt 310F for 30s, Press 3: Finishing on cotton 370F 30s. Works great. FYI, the iColor adhisive and transfer paper is WAY better than the Digital HeatFX Ez-Peal. (I've tried both)

    maybe putting all the links of the stuff you used in a specific video on one section of your description is good so people don't have to look for it. i just don't look at the links anymore cause i'm lazy looking of which is which from a bunch of them.

    The washability is terrible. I don't think this is an issue with the Printer but with the White Toner transfer process. I owned one of these for some time, it is a great printer, with no issues, but after a few washes, the design will crack. The only time that I had lasting results is when I applied a foil over the top of a design which provided a layer of protection, I guess. FYI I am no amateur. Rasterizing the images did help, but still, its film/paper laying on top of the garment...it will crack. If this machine was under $5k it's a no-brainer, get it. it would be worth printing for shirts you don't plan to wear more than a few times, especially for holidays or special days at school for kids!

    Matte finish? I always thought the prints had a shiny tacky finish. That shirt looks like it had a matte finish..

    • @HustleNinjas
      @HustleNinjas  2 года назад

      I think it’s shiny if you post press with a Teflon sheet instead of kraft paper or tseal

    You start the video saying that you printed 7,264 prints. By the end of the video you said you printed 14,000 prints. Did I miss something? Because if I didn't your profitability is half of what you said it is
