    While yes, Kamen Rider are heroes who fight evil, they were first Shocker (the villain organization) experiments meant to aid in their destruction before breaking free and fighting against them.
    And other possible origin, Kamen Rider Black / RX, Kamen Rider Black himself, along with his brother, were chosen by the Gorgom (another villain organization) to become the next Gorgom Creation king. Black escaped and now fights against the Gorgoms.

    To quote TV tropes on the future paradox pokemon mostly not being Steel type, I find this useful to think about:
    "They are essentially robotic creatures in appearance, supposedly from far off into the future and based on Pokémon found in the present. They even "power down" when they sleep, rather than the sleeping animations seen in even most other Pokémon that have a mechanical appearance. However, as far as is seen, they function in every other way just like fully organic Pokémon and unlike most examples from past games only one of them is even a Steel type, making their metallic aspects of little importance to their actual type attributes. Notably the official website describes Iron Leaves' skin as having a "metallic texture" rather than actually being metal, while Miraidon is noted in the game to have a genetic structure that comparable to the obviously organic Cyclizar, indicating that in some sense these creatures may be organic."
    Course, even being similar to metal has been enough in the past to get a pokemon the Steel typing, but it still gives some wriggle room.

    For koridian I always think of the fire typing. Don’t get me wrong the ground typing does seem like a great idea but I’ve always thought of fire because its signature ability sets up the sun along with it getting a boost from it. Along it getting plenty of fire type moves ranging from TM’s to level up moves. In the back of my mind I keep forgetting that it’s part fighting type instead of fire

    • @MicoDossun
      @MicoDossun Год назад +2

      Yeah… I think it’s got a cool type as is but it’s really confusing to me that Miraidon has an ability that affects its type but Koraidon doesn’t

    • @matthewkuscienko4616
      @matthewkuscienko4616 Год назад +3

      @MicoDossun That actually reminds me a lot of Groudon and Kyogre from gen3: not taking their Primal forms into account (mainly because I know someone will mention it otherwise), Kyogre's ability complements it better by boosting the power of it's water moves further; this was also a big part of the reason why it was the better of the 2 until they gained their Primal forms in ORAS. Groudon, meanwhile, was a ground type instead of a fire type, despite the fact that it's ability summons sunlight, and all other Pokemon that gained drought as an ability later are fire types (if I'm not mistaken); suffice it to say, this played a major role in why it gained the fire type when the Primal forms were introduced

    • @MicoDossun
      @MicoDossun Год назад +3

      @@matthewkuscienko4616 yeah Groudon is a weird case where I very much prefer having made it a ground type because it’s suppose to represent the earth more than the sun but it made sense to pair the new legendaries with the new weather mechanic so you got a weird split where it doesn’t fully represent either idea it’s going for. I also kinda wish Rayquaza was just pure flying type since it represents the sky so I guess that trio is all missed potential for me

    I don't know about having three types, but Orthworm should of at least had the Ground typing. It's an Earthworm, in a region with no truly new Ground types (all it's Ground types are based off preexisting Pokémon; Wooper, Tentacool, Donphan, and Magneton).
    0:35 - An if triple types existed, then this would allow quadrupedal typing!
    1:31 - Yeah, you would think it would at least more likely be a Steel type than an Electric type.
    3:01 - True, you would have thought Bug/Dark would have been made ages ago. Even going as far as the introduction, Spinarak could have filled that role and be an easily available Dark type for it's region. Either of the moths, be it a changed type Venomoth or the introduction of Mothim could have filled the Dark type role in a more appropriate sense than the Japanese super hero bug... living in Spain.
    5:38 - Game Freak don't like their Starter Birds flying. It made sense for Piplup but even Rowlet who was Flying eventually loses it's Flying type... and in different forms. Hilariously, the one Starter who kept their flying type is the salamander that is Charmander.
    10:32 - Oh gosh; Orthworm. Bug/Ground doesn't have much luck. Nincada loses it's unique typing with both evolutions, Trapinch never has any bug typing despite being an antlion, Rellor never has the Ground typing either despite it fitting and ultimately we're left with just one branch of the Wormadam family.

I haven't played too many Pokemon games, and with as many bugs and glitches as are in Scarlet and Violet, I feel like I dodged a bullet by not getting either. (No one wants to play a game that has a bug that will literally delete ALL of your progress for just one innocent mistake after all.) They even specifically take it away from new regional forms like Galarian Farfetch'd and the Galarian Legendary Birds that have become flightless!
