    I buy fresh organic ginger. Use it daily. I will grade it put in bags and freeze it. That way does not go bad. Then take out when I need a cup of ginger tea, put it in an infuser then have my tea. Wonderful for my gut stomach.

    I used to make ginger tea with just diced fresh ginger and let it steep a little bit. If you get your own fresh root and chop it it’s got less packaging and chance for extra junk and it’s probably cheaper. And it’s gotta be more potent. Of course you can add other herbs, lime or whatever else you want.

    This is awesome, thank you Thomas! I am wondering though if it would negatively affect carbs needed for building muscle? Funny you just made this video, I just used my self masticating juicer for ginger and froze little ice cubes, hope that doesn’t compromise it’s affects. Thanks again!

      eat ore carbs, don't use ginger, keep carbs and ginger separate, or just do the thing and see what happens, ...my hunch is that this is much ado about nothing, thomas' job is to make videos, that doesn't mean they're all gonna be amazing and relevant

    Ginger Ale helped me survive worst part of my Ulcerative Colitis pains. It literally soothed the pain and helped with issues. Now when I'm on ketogenic diet my UC disappeared but I still drink it from time to time because it helped me a lot in the past.

    Elsewhere ginger tea has been recommended for blood pressure, taken right before bed. I made if from a small piece of fresh ginger, peeled and sliced, covered with about 8 oz. of boiling water, steeped for maybe 5 minutes. I went to bed shortly after finishing it.
    Gurgle, gurgle, gurgly-gurgle! In my stomach and then all the way down. For hours. It actually interfered with my sleep. Haven’t tried it since.

    Interesting.. I ate čevapi 24 hours ago and and now its 7 am but my stomach hurts.. might had needed the ginger tea.. but yesterday before eating čevapi I exercised and cycled around doing errands and at home while I was waiting for them to cook I was doing push ups and squats.. and then 2 hours after eating I was doing bicep curls and squats and calf raises. How can a few čevapi eff my stomach or digestion system like that omg

      Don't consume it. Not every food or drink is meant for everyone. I find kombucha with a splash of pomegranate just the ticket.

      That can only happen on the carnivore diet. No fiber no bowel movement.

      Have you enough stomach acid? You can do test that or take a supplement of Hcl or Betain. Because heartburn or gastric upset depends on on too little stomach acid.
      I could not eat bell peppers until I started to add Hcl. No more burps of peppers and no more stomach acid up my throat. Win for me.

    Any water/tea before your meal will actually reduce your gastric fire/juices and thus: straight ginger in a capsule/fresh form is best before your meals.
