Inspiring! I worked with rock classes with kids some 15-20 years ago. In one of the classes we had an eight year old kid who wanted to play bass. His arms where so short there was no way he could reach to fret any lower notes. So I transposed all the songs we played so they worked with open string bass notes with the occasional fretted note up at the seventh to tenth frets or whatever. And he played great and we had lots of fun!

As a bass player, he's in the class , for me at least , with Harris , Ellefson, Burton, Geezer, and Geddy , love his stuff
