Just tried the benchmark with a 5 5600, RX 7700 XT, and 1080 res with a 120hz monitor On High/High-med settings, I was getting solid 60 and even higher(up to 90+) on average. That was without frame gen and upscaling. It only drops to around 50 when you have a bunch of endemic life on screen, or when you're in Kunafa, which I kind of expected already As a long time low-spec gamer that only upgraded my PC for this specific game, anything above 60 is already a godsend to me. If this is a somewhat accurate reflection of release performance, I'm more than happy, tbh
Basically the same as Dragon Dogma 2, Capcom is making mistakes with the new thing. With linear games they have no problem, they have to take a step with the "open world".
@@KyoKat it doesnt matter since 1080p cant even go up to above 60 on medium settings no frame gen or fsr on a 3060, resolution stop being relevant. dogshit unoptimized game.
@@cfilorvyls457 i have a 4070 but i have only 16gb of ram. i notice that it crashes out my other applications on the background because it eats a lot of ram.
PS5/XSX games uses more CPU sadly this happens in any next gen game alan wake 2, baldur's gate 3, starfield... maybe they can improve a little, but won't be much
in my experience i tried both PS5 and my PC i3-12100 and 2060S, PC looks way more worse in the first beta. Now they lower the minimum GPU requirement to 1660 6GB VRAM , its a huge improvement comparing to the first beta.
@@eriuz you're comparing manure with bison shit, its still unoptimized, meaning they did nothing to make it how it should be. instead they let you frame gen the whole game thinking it will hide the shit smell.

Wonder if this game shares the same CPU issues as DD2, both using the same engines
It does. People with 4090s, but old CPUs are struggling to hit 60.
@@Zer0Hour17also the 4090 hutting 100fps all maxed and more fps even

Its eating up my 5800x3D to 100% its actually insane
On console it’s worse
where can i see the benchmark for console?

They also have a problem with the dlss and the fg. In quality it seems that it drops from 2k to 900p and the fg will not provide more than 10 fps
4060ti its not a graphic card for 1440p, i mean most of the games in 1440p will run at 60fps and thet will flop to 45~50 in intense moments
but still, you have better image quality playing 1440p with DLSS than 1080p DLAA (and sometimes you may have even better FPS too)
@@KyoKat true, lets hope they keep improving the optimization with the timeb (lets see how it works in my rx6700xt)

Yeah this game's main problem is the cpu bottleneck. You can set dlss to ultraperformance and won't get much better result than this
@@cfilorvyls457 i have a 4070 but i have only 16gb of ram. i notice that it crashes out my other applications on the background because it eats a lot of ram.
Frame Gen is a necessity for this game until the devs solve the CPU bottleneck

There's still much optimization to be done, but hey at least it's not gonna become GeometricPotato Hunter : Wilds anymore
Omg when i saw the low polygon graphics, i died laughing. It was so bad but hilarious. 😂
@SandyBelleX3 yes the beta (or was it alpha) some months ago were hilarious.

bad ? is a lot better compared to that first beta
