I can't thank you enough John for sharing about my brother Kevin's case. I am the oldest of the siblings and this has been absolutely the worst thing our family has had to endure. His disappearance should have been a priority from day 1 no matter what. We desperately need closure and some people really should clear their conscience. Kevin has always had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need. Thank you everyone for the support!!
I think it was 30 years. I almost said that upon figuring that number I wanted to cry because it makes me feel old. But I quickly realized the irony. I'm still here, and so are my brothers. ♡ I should appreciate that more.
They should recheck that house. And the "threw him away" could mean he was in a landfill. I hope they get closure. Those "friends" were not friends. At all.
As awful as it is to lose a loved one to death, knowing they are gone provides an opportunity for that wound to scar over and heal. Not knowing, leaves that wound forever open and raw. Hoping answers are just around the corner for this family.
@@lindseymorgan6625I had a child missing for almost two months. Fortunately, we had a good outcome, but I cannot imagine the anguish we experienced for two months going on indefinitely. It would be crushing.
It feels like one of the three people who were the last people to see him before he disappeared have to know what happened. I can't imagine knowing what happened to someone's loved one and not admitting to what you know for over 25 years and allowing that family to go on feeling that pain and wondering what happened when you clearly know and can relieve that pain for them. I hope someone grows a conscience and that his family finds answers soon.
You're a good man with a big heart and I know these families appreciate all you do to help find their missing love ones ❤❤ Prayers for these families and blessings to all 🥰
We have a missing Kevin in San Francisco, too - Kevin Collins went missing at age 10 in 1984. I’m sorry neither Kevin has been found. I think both would have contributed positive things to each of their respective worlds. Praying for peace and comfort for both families - and both the older and younger Kevins.
That's so sad. I really hope both Kevin Collins, and Kevin Mahoney are found, and that their families and loved ones get answers. If there's any person or people who are responsible and are still around, I hope they face justice.
I was 10.5 years old when 10 year-old Kevin Collins went missing in S.F. Because he was roughly the same age as me, a chill ran down my young spine after hearing of his disappearance. Cannot believe that Kevin Collins has been missing for almost 40 years...sigh.😔💔😢 As for Kevin Mahoney, my heart goes out to his loved ones.🙏💗
I thought I was going to hear that a key player got a lawyer and went silent. But it sounds like it wasn't even that. There are a couple people who must have information (at least). Their names are known, so this can be investigated further. I'm glad this is being followed up on now, even though it should have been done earlier. This is a good example of a case that is possibly solvable. RIP Kevin.
These historic cases deserve covering because unfortunately, they are sometimes either forgotten about or the public assumes they are solved. I am sure that Kevin's family, friends and community appreciate you taking up their cause John.
Polygraphs are useless, that friend who passed sounds like the one who's lying the worst. You can't change your story and have it still be true, so which is it?!
I can’t remember any crime that is as much of a mess as this one. However it is time to say goodbye to Kevin. His memory is still alive. I am not the only one who has had to give up the quest for answers.
I was good friends with Kevin. We ran around together in Junior High. He called me Gremmie. We bowled every saturday on the same team the Pinbreakers. I also knew Chuck and Troy. Sadly Chuck was killed in an automobile accident many years ago. I truly hope this mystery gets solved. Kevin deserves it, he was such a cool guy.
I probably knew u too I was good friends with the ones you mentioned and was from frazee. Kevin stayed with me in Fargo in 92 before I left town to travel with a rock band
Such a sad story. I hope his family is able to find Kevin so he will truly be able to rest in peace as well and for his family to have closure after all these years.
So sad what happened to him and i hope that his family find the answers that they have been searching for all these years it reaches can't be easy for anyone to deal with a missing family member without knowing exactly what happened to them especially after 30 years so hopefully there will be some lead that can get them closure
my first year of college i saw his family holding signs on the comer by ndsu and loaf n jug and now i think about him every fall hoping something new is discovered :( I hope his family gets closure.
Ben's story has changed way too much. I think Ben did something to him. Maybe they could check the house and yard again with the new technology maybe they could come up with something.
Very convoluted case, populated by a lot of shady characters. So many conflicting as well as changing stories, it's hard to believe any of them. Plus with all the drinking and probable drug use, it's likely that many of the witnesses have their dates mistaken, so knowing what the actual last day he was seen is anbody's guess.

I hope someone says something or comes forward with information. Sending light and love to you and your family!
Thank you!
Hope and love to you and your family.
Thank you!
My prayers for you and your family 🙏 and sending you my blessings that you will get the answers you need🤗🤗
The fact his “friend” Ben kept changing his stories should’ve been a HUGE red flag 🚩
26 years... I can't imagine not knowing where my brother was for 26 years. Wherever Kevin is, I hope he is at peace. 🖤

It's obvious that the so-called friend knows far more than he is ever willing to admit.
100%
Right off the bat, thank you John for covering these "forgotten" cases! Your community cares!
They should recheck that house. And the "threw him away" could mean he was in a landfill. I hope they get closure. Those "friends" were not friends. At all.
I'm from the Fargo-Moorhead area. Thank you for covering this story.
My heart goes out to Kevin's family, and I pray they're able to find out what happened to him.

Ugh I completely agree. I feel so awful for his family. His poor mom passed away, not knowing where her son was. And he's momma's boy too 🥺

@@NeatNoodle I'm so glad you had a good outcome! I cannot even imagine what that must have felt like.

Poor family. You know someone knows. It's past time for them to do the right thing and come forward. Praying for a speedy resolution.
A continuously changing story from Ben makes me very suspicious that if not directly involved with Kevin's disappearance/death, he knows something.
I can’t remember any crime that is as much of a mess as this one.

Thanks for the upload!
I know from experience that the not knowing is just the worst feeling, it’s soul destroying.
Thanks for all your work, John. Have you any new info on the DeOrr Kunz and Kyron Horman cases?

Thank you for everything. 🕊

One day, the long hairs will be treated as equals. Thanks for still looking.
Lots of red flags, John...🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩
Thanks John!
Kevin 🙏❤
It sounds like cadaver dogs might be useful in Ben's house.

Hmmm wonder how Ben is doing 🤔
Ben's story has changed way too much. I think Ben did something to him. Maybe they could check the house and yard again with the new technology maybe they could come up with something.
This case intrigued me since I heard it on the vanished idk if it's the way he looks he had good looks on him but yeah so sad

Went to fix a door at midnight? Hmm.
Seems suspicious
I am from North Dakota and have never heard of this case.
Not to be pedantic but isn't 1993 thirty years ago eta: Kevin's sister Michelle probably said 26 on that news spot in 2019.
