a mother will always worry, but it must be such a huge difference between now and b4. She’s chronically ill but she is a full adult (i was gonna say full grown but :P) so it sounds like her mom trusts her to look after her own maintenance and ask for help if needed
I mean Ironmouse is a globalized celebrity that brings in the money and Ironmouse is not someone to become a drug addict or a drug seller. I actually think Ironmouse is so successful she could pay her parents to never need to work again. Of course, the parents would cool it with their concerns. They even have Welsh boys sending stuffed animals costing hundreds of dollars. Mouse's life is not in any more danger than her condition.
She already is doing that. She bought them a house and pays for their retirement AND for them to goof around etc (though it seems they're still pretty frugal despite this)

Did her mother seize being Latina, cause I've never heard of a Latina mom not being worried about their kids!
This is from Mouse's perspective. She could still be extremely worried about her daughter, but doesn't let said daughter know

In this case mouse is correct, Latina is in fact a medical condition.
