There's two thoughts. The first thought is, the other fan has fallen for a persona, not the person. While streamers may give parts of themselves to their audience and even truths of themselves, at the end of the day, it's just a peak behind the curtain. Who they fell in love with is not actually who they really are. Meanwhile, with the second thought, the streamer, starts at literally not knowing anything about the fan. At zero. They are a stranger pretty much. And since this stranger "loves" them so much, if this streamer was a bad person, this streamer could essentially take advantage of this relationship and move it was faster than an average relationship would if you're catching my drift here. And in the end the streamer may never reach the same level of feeling as the fan, and/or the fan will become disillusioned with the streamer as they get to know the real them and find they just liked the persona all along. This is a cynical point of view. But some of the worst bits of it have happened over and over again

Sadly it's far less than 20% here in the U.S. With a starting point of just 100k a year man who is in his 20s single and non obese of any height it is less than 2.7%. There's no such thing as a "equal relationship," somebody is _always_ going to be wearing the pants. There's two thoughts. The first thought is, the other fan has fallen for a persona, not the person. While streamers may give parts of themselves to their audience and even truths of themselves, at the end of the day, it's just a peak behind the curtain. Who they fell in love with is not actually who they really are. Meanwhile, with the second thought, the streamer, starts at literally not knowing anything about the fan. At zero. They are a stranger pretty much. And since this stranger "loves" them so much, if this streamer was a bad person, this streamer could essentially take advantage of this relationship and move it was faster than an average relationship would if you're catching my drift here. And in the end the streamer may never reach the same level of feeling as the fan, and/or the fan will become disillusioned with the streamer as they get to know the real them and find they just liked the persona all along. This is a cynical point of view. But some of the worst bits of it have happened over and over again
