Mr. AR basically what happened was that I choose Ruin but in the match I was actually Reaper with Ruin's ability which was gravity spikes. I didn't notice it until the final killcam where I saw Reaper's hand holding the spikes or whatever and slaming it down.
This is old but one thing I can recommend. I make beats and sometimes RUclips videos, FL Studio 12 is amazing for voice editing. You can make it sound deep and crisp at the same time with EQs, add slight reverb, pitching it, etc.

Arctic Royal you could start off using your headset mic, but it will not be good quality. I say you start off using your headset then once you have enough money get the mic he just suggested, or even just a little mic that you can put on your shirt, it's like $15 on amzon and it's what I use for school projects. Hope this helps!

Also for those of you who want to use a headset for audio recording (DO NOT use the Astro A50 with Xbox One) There's a known issue where it effects the Xbox Controllers causing them to disconnect at random which in turn will interrupt your gameplay

I have been on RUclips for about the same length as Nick, just a tip. If you have a Blue Snowball it still isn't the best Studio quality so go ahead and download a software called voice meeter, and watch a tutorial on it. It will make the Snowball sound like a Yeti!

You also can use iMovie for editing videos if you have an elgato, you can put your Facecam with the elgato Software in your video.. Hope you understood this i'm from germany ;)

I love my blue snowball :) the sound is great I just started filming Minecraft videos and I use screen flow and it incorporates the webcam and the screen capture and mic and I love the quality then I edit in final cut pro
I have the Logitech C920. It always gives me problems though when I'm trying to record like connecting issues and stopping and freezing. If you can I would go with another choice of webcam

The Blue Yeti is an awesome mic if you want to spend a little more. Also worth checking out Adobe CC - especially if you are a student (discounts, yay!). That hooks you up with after effects (Intro/outro effects), illustrator and photoshop (logos, thumbnails, youtube banners) and premiere pro (video editing) among others. I record my voiceover right into premiere pro! happy gaming everyone
I have a turtle beach px22 that works on my comp and on my ps4 and Xbox 360, and my microphone was perfect. Lol I still had to use the bass boost still. I almost don't have to but to make sure it was good I did it

Jonathan McCue there should be a setting on the audio output portion of the settings. Basically you put your audio output as your tv speakers and headset and the capture card should record party chat.

no the neewer nw 700 costs £28 (should be less than 50 bucks) it comes with boom arm pop filter windshield a XLR to 3.5mm cable and the mic. you will need to spend an extra 15 bucks for a mic psu but it is amazing i use it myself to talk to my friends on games
this helped me heaps especially part one because i was using obs for recording not studio and it recorded in 360p and the colors messed up and looked totally different
Awesome thanks for the tips, thankfully I was able to acquire sony vegas pro since I needed it for school but wasn't sure what I needed for camera or sound, Right now I just use my Razer Kraken Pro for voiceover while streaming, maybe before long I'll be able to add some video with my face lol

I have Premiere and Sony. I use Premiere to add gameplay, anything. But I do have Sony to do the different zoomes.

i wouldn't use a mac for game play,but imovie would definitely work for editing,if ur gonna record with a console,i would go with the elgato.

the hyperx cloud has a decent mike and is a headset so you get more for your money at just around 80 buks or a bit more for the cloud 2

Bass boosting does not help with sounding older, it is helpful for making the recordings sound more professional.
