Most of the smaller streamers will probably go back to school and the bigger streamers and youtubers get so much attention that they won't have a problem to find another job in the entertainment industry or the gaming industry. They have so many connections they probably won't even earn less if streaming and youtube ever dies. Until then the big youtubers will continue to make 8 figures maybe even 9 in a few years and believe me they will never have to ask themselves if they are able to retire. The only question is when they want to retire.

Zedek They're not the same. Not at all. On RUclips you get money by monetizing the ads, that you have on your videos. On Twitch the majority of the money you make comes from donations, which come in like crazy mofos depending on the streamer.
Zedek I'm fairly sure you're not aloud to talk about the pay structure very specifically with you are getting paid...But yeah, streaming is much easier, ends up paying more, and generally, you have to spend less time on it. I stream, then edit and post the VODs. Editing is a very special thing to deal with. Consider this: if you stream for 4 hours, and don't time stamp things you want edited it (which, at the very least, I don't), then you have to re-watch the entire 4 hours stream, and on top of that, you have to edit it. So you end up working for 5-6 hours to edit a 4 hour stream, if you do this everyday (which I don't), than you're working 9-10 hours a day in front of the screen, and until you get "discovered", you're getting paid little to nothing for it.

though, there's people who earn i think around 4-500 euros per month and still live by themselves, and i have no idea how can they live, we are a family of 3/4+ 3 dogs, but we have our means to get extra money.

Zedek I'm fairly sure you're not aloud to talk about the pay structure very specifically with you are getting paid...But yeah, streaming is much easier, ends up paying more, and generally, you have to spend less time on it.
I stream, then edit and post the VODs. Editing is a very special thing to deal with. Consider this: if you stream for 4 hours, and don't time stamp things you want edited it (which, at the very least, I don't), then you have to re-watch the entire 4 hours stream, and on top of that, you have to edit it. So you end up working for 5-6 hours to edit a 4 hour stream, if you do this everyday (which I don't), than you're working 9-10 hours a day in front of the screen, and until you get "discovered", you're getting paid little to nothing for it.
