They're another car that seemed to be everywhere not so long ago. Man, did I get a sad but not unexpected story from the Kmart Garden City Toy Section manager on Saturday, I'd never go there but Mrs. PB wanted something so I checked the pegs, and he asked if I was a collector and if I needed the Civic from the new boulevard set as he has to keep them out the back because they just get stolen otherwise. He went and got me one and said he's missing 20 of them off the pegs. Plus a story about the same three wan*kers that are in there EVERY day.
@@PBsRetroRestorations Pretty sad. I used to go there when I lived closer. Dudes would duck under the roller door and run to the pegs. Nothing left when I got there, I stopped going. Sure I'd like the latest stuff but I won't look like a wanker doing it 😕 I've only been collecting for 3 years and it's gotten so bad just in that time 😡
The prize is my undying gratitude and to be fair you do get more shout outs than anyone else Graham, and while shout outs and gratitude don't pay the bills and can't be put in a display cabinet, you should be eternally grateful 🤣🤣🤣
The only thing I'd have done different on my two, which you've seen, is detail the inside by giving some colour to the drivers and the dogs. Great work on this - love the colour.
Thank you Marc, it is a great casting, I should do more realistic repaints instead of straight stock restos, this one would look great with a wheel swap.
Hi Laz! Well there's only so many diecasts in the world, we're bound to double up sometimes. Plus great minds think alike and all that. Box video incoming, hopefully before the week is out. Put the jug on.
That's a beauty, PB......that dark green suits it better 👍🏻👏🏻👌🏻 Do you need a degree in origami to assemble the box? I'll enjoy your special on printing those out. Have a great weekend, mate. I'm off to work shortly, in service to His Majesty's Great British Public at the world famous (probably) Hunstanton Beach Patrol.....where we don't have to wear rubber hats and budgie smugglers. Fortunately.......
Awesome, may I suggest teaching us some Australian words/slang,since mine are all out of date from Cell Block H etc etc Thank you,you great galah, sticky beak etc 😊
Well the first lesson is it was renamed Cell Block H for the international market. It's real name is Prisoner, great show, 🎵 He used to bring me roses, I wish he could again, but that was on the outside, and things were different then 🎵 I will try and Oz it up a bit more, fair dinks ya drongo. I'm gunna chuck a sickie and hit the bott-lo.

You looked knackered at the beginning.
Thanks Cathy, I think 🤔🤣 I may or may not have stopped at Felons Brewery under the Storey Bridge for my birthday prior.
Another excellent job well done 👍
Fantastic great job mate 👍 👏
Thank you very much John 🙂
Really appreciate that after a long, difficult journey, you still went straight in and restored a car for us. Such dedication is to be admired!
Thank You David, I'm glad to hear that, it helps me to stay positive.
My cousin had the Australian assembled Morris 1100. Great little car and very comfortable 🙂
Nice job 👍 23:57

Glad to see you finally made it back! Though the 3 months flew by. And with enough energy to pull off another fabulous restoration!
Thank you Thomas, it was touch and go for a while there lol.
Fantastic restoration Pete. Cheers Michael
Thank You Michael.
A very nice restoration, Peter. You are getting better at this game.
Thank You Gerry!
Great video Peter, watching you go through the process, and it turned out really smart, looking forward to the box making video, all the best Martin
Thank you Martin. I'm finishing up the carton today, it's gotten longer I'm afraid.

Great work on this - love the colour.
Thank you Andrew. If I tried painting the dog and the dude they'd end up looking like they had something wrong with them lol.
I really like this model. I have the green standard wheels version with a box in near mint. I also have the rarer blue superfast. Great restoration.
It is a nice little car. The superfast must be a fair bit scarcer as I don't think I've come across one in my travels. Thank You.
Nice job, liked the box
Thank you Phil, if you'd like a copy of the template I can email it to you. I've got a separate video coming just on how I make the boxes too.
@PBsRetroRestorations no thanks but for the offer, just like what you're doing
Another fantastic restoration! I will definitely be checking out that video... thanks for sharing.
Thank you Mike, I picked up a Superfast version of the MG on the weekend so it looks like I'll be going another one shortly.
Nice job on this great casting! Cheers

Well I see you didn't have any luck, sorry BK.
Nice, using the same colour now on mine PB,we often do the same car ,same colour lol.
Looking forward to the video on the box making .cheers Laz

🙂👍👍
