    Jeffrey Dahmer's story has been written about and told over and over, and yet we are all still fascinated with him. His crimes were truly horrific, but we all believe he had at least a spark of light within him. This is Part 1 of a two part series.

    I'm from Milwaukee, and I will never forget when the story çame out, the scariest part,(for me personally) is April of 1991,I walked into the Oxford apartments & immediately said really loudly,"this building stinks so bad"! I was looking for an apartment,& I also had my son who was almost 3 at the time. I didn't even fill out an application, I felt really strange, like I better hurry up and get the hell out of there!And then in July,we ALL found out about Jeffrey Dahmer.

    I almost feel like with the right kind of love and guidance when he was young he could have defeated his inner demons and at least not hurt people . It is weird I feel a bit of sympathy for him that I dont usually feel for serial killers . I know what he did was horrible and I am not excusing what he did . I cant explain it but I feel bad for him in a way

      Julie Frandsen my point is dahmer wasn’t a psychopath like a bundy or Dennis rader that enjoyed the violence . I am not saying he wouldn’t be mentally disturbed I am just saying maybe he could have avoided hurting people and acting out his fantasies with the right kind of help . He seemed to have some remorse and shame about what he did . He didn’t seem like he wanted to be the way he was

      @@juliebfrandsen5066 I would imagine having fantasies about having sex with dead bodies and eating people is not something that is easy to talk about with people. Plus dahmer was a severe alcoholic which probably didnt help his judgment and he had no friends or family to talk to . Dahmer was obviously very sick and maybe there was nothing that could have been done . I just feel he is a bit more complex than typical serial killers and I have a shred of sympathy for him

    Never heard many of the things you dug out of Jeff's parents and grandparents lives. Very interesting on the female chromosomes. If I'd have had a brother, he probably would of been a killer, because my childhood was very sad, and violent. 😞

    • @SerialKilling
      @SerialKilling  Год назад +1

      I think it was dramatized for tv as most things are, but it was pretty accurate, all things considered. Evan’s performance was brilliant. They made Lionel too…loud. But overall it was good.

    • @tennesseegirl5539

      @@SerialKilling I agree very dramatized. I know that one lady didn't even live in his building and it seemed to make her more of a main character almost than Dahmer LOL

    My life is nearly identical to his. Only difference is that i am straight and he had more variety concerning a point of reference with human contact. I also crucified people's dogs against fences for the people bullying me for being different. They would treat their kids worse than their pet dog, so i taught them a valuable lesson in refocusing their parental energies. I was forced to watch people get stapled to the ceiling and have their blood fall and drown their kids in the parents blood. And i have still not killed anyone, because my dead mom made me promise not to be violent ever.

    Do not interfere with anyone's life ever, certain people's mind's require more healing; and they will go to great lengths to prove this point. Jeffrey was just as much deserving of being known as anyone. I am the most bullied, censored, neglected and judged person in my small east Texas town. If you judge someone without getting to know them, even by smirking or snickering a small bit of laughter behind someone's back, beware; you just might be taught a lasting/permanent lesson by someone like Jeffrey or worse; someone like myself (a man much worse than Jeffrey could ever imagine being). Love is kind and love is never spiteful and/malicious. It is better to be vulnerable/sensitive than violent. I water boarded over 800 kittens & barricaded children in houses and watched the houses burn while laughing all night while gut laughing and crying myself to sleep because i thought i was protecting innocents from the abuse of drug addicts. I have sunk my teeth into my grandmother's head in hideous fits of rage. My life is forfeit because of bullies and their lack of self control concerning interference. Do not become like me people, do not let any pressure build within you ever. It is advisable and wise to use any therapy other than violence. Violence will always revisit the source from where it originated, even well intentioned violence.
