I don't like corner slicing it feels like an animation that they're forcing down our throats that makes it feel like they're removing skill Gap I'm good I rather just like slide cancel around the corner and find my target naturally without being forced to use training wheels
@@taylorhappe8026 if anything I think mastering corner slicing is gonna give you a bigger advantage since you reveal as little as your body as possible while you’re still able to shoot others and with it being tied to your movement speed you can still jump the corner and skip it

It's always important to keep in mind (looking at the Niki skin) that COD is a good bit of a militarized version of Fortnite & realish life gameplay....which has been thoroughly enjoyable over the years.
It's about range of motion, not the realism of it.
Usually the more real something is, the less fun it becomes!

The omni movement is one of those things were they either get it 100% right, or it just ends up becoming extremely annoying after a while.
Well you can just turn it off at least, so it's not a huge loss

As long as you have to slow to a walk to strafe side-side, it wouldn't be exploitable. Watch them have a perk that let's you do it in Tac sprint.
They need to have a streak that disables sprint and slide for the enemy team. LOL.
@@JoeyBK_86 i think the obvious thing to do is to eiither slow strafe movement if you strafe too much side to side, or to make it so you can't iimmediately strafe side to side. I think the latter option would suck though because strafing is pretty easy to learn, and honestly isn't a bad feature overall in games

@@booster1454 I really did like Modern Warfare 2019 because, although it wasn't necessarily the most accurate, it still felt very serious and grounded for about the first year. Heck, even warzone felt gritty at first before it got ruined.

As a 31 year old who grew up playing COD, this is a big W.
Same 31, world at war was my first Cod, and then the original black ops was when my addiction got serious.
Yeah seems like its going to be way more addictive than ever. Not having prestige, made xp and lvling boring. And for zombies, I havent enjoyed zombies since bo2. I never got bo3 because of hardware, and later iterations of zombies after I got back into cod in 2019 just didnt do it for me. At one point in waw and bo1 I played like 70-80% zombies over MP.

Helldivers has the smoothest diving and shooting max payne style gunplay when you’re not easily thrown into rag doll mode of course lol
The movement also looks a lot like Out of Action, and aside from it being a bit slower, the movements seem identical.

Microsoft acquired the company. Liquidated dead assets. Assured no call of duty will be microsoft exclusive but offer their newly aquired titles fans day 1 access to the full game with "only" paying for service most users have due to its straight forward and quite diverse amount of titles.

It would be cool if they applied friction factors to different surfaces on the map so that some surfaces you slide on better than others.

Yea sure in campaign, no way they are going to make the game that much worse in MP. If you are only talking about sliding and maybe diving sure but if I start running on asphalt and transition to lets say snow. The game will feel immersive but then nobody is going in that snow with a debuff to their movement speed. Tarkov doesn’t do that either which is why the game feels great for is “realistic ways” being it one of the more realistic games out there atm.

Funny that you mentioned the specialists. I used to play that mod too. That's pretty cool. The bad news is that if you used to play the specialists like us, you will probably need to start getting prostrate exams pretty soon lol.
Woods being on the radio in the campaign may also signal him as the voice commander in Warzone, instead of Graves.

If a player is sweating his vision should become blurry from the sweat in his eyes. To counter act it he'd have to use a perk slot for the tactical sweat band.

@@randomchannel323 The up side to the tactical sweat band is that it's easy to notice a white band on the head of players so that if you see a lot of them in your lobby you might want to find another lobby or shut the game off and do something all together different.

FPM, First Person Movie, not a Shooter. Not only do you not need to aim in Call of Duty because Rotational Aim Assist will do it for you at an inhuman reaction time... But now you do not need to Jump, Mantle, or Slide because Movement Assist will do it for you at an inhuman reaction time with perfect placement.
yeah, I was thinking that doesn't belong in a pvp fps environment like cod. Every movement you do should be something you actively have to control(big movements that change character position like jumping/sliding obviously) because movement is a part of playing the game. If you can't move well, or don't have the map memorized, you shouldn't be able to traverse it just as well as someone who knows the map like the back of their hand.
I think its good as in more non-gamers can engage with the game. However, they have to manage it in order to maintain a skill gap between auto-vaulting and manual vaulting so as to force you to perfect the movement if you wish to get an advantage.
Play MW3 on controller and tell me aim assist does anything at all

@@danesteodor7479 non gamers will not be able to handle the omni-directional movement, hell even most cod players won't actually be able to. This will only end up as either an annoying feature that everyone turns off, or a slight crutch for players who don't know how to play the game. If anything, it will just make it harder for new players to learn how to play cod/fps games properly

This movement system has been around for years. Why so long to implement it?
Man, Treyarch LOVES Metal Gear Solid. Some of these animations like at, 0:39 look straight from The Phantom Pain.
I guess it does? But that’s just how soldiers move their gun around while trying to stay prone. It’s like saying that Fortnite copied the M4 from COD😅
The more military games (or stealth action games, in general) that borrow ideas from MGS and Splinter Cell, the better.

So i un-installed MW3 because i got tired of it, and when i saw I could pre-installed install BO6 before the release date, i pre-installed it (for free since i have gamepass). So today, i saw my friend playing Warzone, and for some reason, it gave me the option to join. I clicked on it, and I was in the MW3 Warzone lobby. So this means that, in october, MW3 is getting a huge update, and they are just going to slap a big Black Ops 6 sticker on it and sell it to us just like they did with MW3.
So we already got an Aim-Assist and now a Walking-Assist. Like whats coming next? Game Assist? Just sitting next to my console playing by itself.

@@pphead9960 its on purpose. this game isnt hundreds of GB, they make it that way so you have to delete other games to have it installed. its a calculated move, Fortnite does this as well.
Its funny how CoD is showcasing movement mechanics that have been around for a long time. I guess they gotta spice things up somehow.

it’s a huge change for CoD, and will massively change the gameplay-there’s no way it won’t.

Is this on PS4?? Can we move away from the old gen? The life cycle is almost over and they’re still making multi-platform releases yet wanting $70.
All you have to do is downgrade the graphics. its no different than a game that can play on 5 year old PC's at low settings. Something simple like ray tracing, a feature that could easily be turned on and off, takes a huge amount of processing power. if you dont want to make it reverse compatible, youd just remove the option.
@@jujijuman I get that, but I’m saying is we’re getting hustled here. The lifecycle for the PS3-PS4 games didn’t last this long. It’s also taking them more time to make games and they’re still incomplete upon release.
The video game industry has declined significantly since 2017 ish.
I like the movement and it looks like it’ll be fun, but that part where the guy shoots a door open felt a little dumb to me, he just shot the door and it swung open like someone opened it.
don’t forget that they gave us the absolute bare minimum and robbed us of our money for so many years until hell divers came out. they’re a fierce competitor and cod has finally finished having a tug and wanna make a good game. personally my standards are extremely high
