Hey guys! Happy Saturday! I have finally a DIY video for you guys! I really hope you like it! I'm soo in love with the result because it's so elegant and timeless! Would you like to see more simple yet elegant DIYs? Let me know!
So soothing to watch! I started putting succulents and air plants around the home during the past months and it really adds a lot to the feel and the design. Also was in a search for DIY pots and I'm so glad you uploaded this video, will definitely use these tips.
oh my god, this is the earliest i've ever been, and i'm like happy cause you have a chance of seeing this oof okay mako, i've recently started watching your videos and if fallen in love with them, you're so talented and incredible and i love all your content. thank you sO much, you've basically taught me everything i know about watercolor and asdfghjkl thANK you i hope you have a lovely day! :))
soooooooooooo lovely!! one thing tho the succulents will most likely get root rot and die because of poor drainage (or more like no drainage), replant them asap to keep your plant babies alive!
Aww I thought about adding a hole later but I decided to keep it that way because succulents need little water anyway so I will most likely not overwater them!
makoccino succulents are sturdy, that's for sure! Thing is with no drainage, water might start pooling at the bottom (even if it doesn't seem like you're watering that much/often or if it's just a light misting every now and again. They also pull in a surprising about of moisture from the air!) and that's super bad for them. Too much moisture in a closed off area with very little air reaching the roots just isn't good, unless you're bacteria. They will most likely live for a while but not strive. Just be careful and maybe check the soil after about 2 months or so for any rotting!
concrete is actually pretty porous - kinda like clay! so I think the succulents won't die too soon ;) but the airplant may.. because it doesn't like sitting in water.. you could bath it for 2 hours, let it dry and then put it back in the glass!
Please don't mist your succulents! They need to get water from their roots, not their leaves. Maybe put a layer of rocks under the soil for even better drainage? And yeah, air plants need a lot of air circulation so it'll definitely do better outside the bottle, to avoid excessive humidity. Just some suggestions :)
Hey Mako ! I'm your biggest fan ever I have seen your every video. You are awesome, fabulous, fantastic. Still these words are less to describe you. I really really love your videos. I am from India and you are my guruji. Guruji means teacher. And in Indian tradition a guru is served like god. I request you to please make some more videos of watercolor tutorials.Really from bottom of my heart I respect and love you and your talent a lot.Hands off to you Mako mam and lots of love from me👍👍👏👏👏😍😍😘😘
You are my inspiration. I never thought that I could paint but I had a lot of interest in it. And then I came accross your channel. I have been stalking you for days and did recreate some of your paintings. Thank you soo much! ❤❤❤
They usually come with flower bouquets or on their own as a bouquet and I just separated some of them and placed them into their new vases! They should survive as long as they meant to be :) And those flowers look great once dried as well!
Beautiful video! And mako, please advise me on how to paint a worn out and old wall!? How to scrap off the old paint to make the surface even? Also, is it necessary to put a primer first?
I'm not an expert on renovation but there are spatulas that are made for scrapping off old paint from the wall! And walls usually don't need a primer, you just need good paint :)
I love u makoccino u r my inspiration 💞💞💞 U know I painted that waterfall painting that u painted so basically it was a reference but it turned out amazing💜💛💚 Thanx for such aesthetic ideas💖💖
It is 12 a. m. now in India but mako's video is my first priority. This greenish room decor is very lively. I was thinking to do something like this in my room but my art inspiration read my mind. Thanks for the video mako 😊
I love you and I love your diys and art you inspired me to start watercolor and I use White Nights paint and they work really well everything you do is awesome I don’t even know how to describe your art it’s just simply beautiful you brighten my day when I’m down and inspire me to paint.love you Your loyal and loving subscriber, -Camelia❤️
Amazing new ideas for concrete projects. Last time I worked with concrete was 2 years ago. Made some pots & stepstones for my garden. Def need to start again - this time home decor. :-)
So I decided to take a nap and you uploaded video while I was asleep so of course I'm late like last time 😣idk if you remember me because now you have so many fans that it would be hard remembering I'm hoping you would be the same even after getting more subscribers (more than right now I mean that's a lot too but you deserve more)but I don't think you will change because of how much you care about your fans and make sure to read every single comment and either heart it or reply it to let them know you do read there comments and they don't go unnoticed you are the only RUclipsr I know who is this nice with their fans sorry for that long comment 😅I need to stop😂but I just can't describe you in only one sentence or word I love you sooo much😘❤
Looks like everything you start ends in something beautiful 😍... and PLANTS!... please more... concrete or gold - it doesn't matter! Do it! You're awesome 🤩
Wow das sieht cool aus. Klasse Arbeit.
I am veryyy late, but I want to congratulate you mako for the million subs! 💙💙, and my artwork was featured too! Thank you mako :)), Stay awesome and keep on making inspirational art! 😊😊
I really like working with concrete, so far I've made drawer pulls and a recycled vase that's on my channel. I was wondering, on the bigger planter doesn't water get absorbed intro the concrete, I thought about making something similar but gave up on it, was afraid it would not work out
Awww I will test it but so far everything looks okay! Succulents don't need lots of water that's why it would be actually good if something would get absorbed I think 🙈
That is so funny.. Just a few days ago I ordered supplies to make hypertufa planters. They are made with cement, perlite, and coco coir. I will be making larger sized pots for my herbs, so I wanted something that was a bit more lightweight than concrete alone. I appreciate this video because of the molding techniques you showed. So, thanks! I am going to try to use a roll of cellophane I have lying around to make the molds non-stick. By the way, I am really enjoying watching your process of decorating your new apartment!
Awww how funny! It's my first time using concrete and I've seen lots of people using plastic containers as molds, but I didn't have any in the size or shape I needed so I used the things I had 😂 And I'm glad you are enjoying the process
