- The guys are back for part two of Random 18! Erik Anders Lang joins Dan and Lincoln from “What’s Inside” on their continued quest to play the best 18 holes Southern Utah has to offer. Holes 6-8 were played at The Ledges Golf Club, while holes 9-11 were played at Green Spring Golf Course. As displayed in part one, golf in Southern Utah showcases a wide array of breathtaking views. Tune in to enjoy the natural beauty of each course, and do not forget: EAL and Lincoln are still in the midst of their match!

11 holes, 7 hours, breakfast lunch and Starbucks break and we still have 7 more to go! Love this
Love this series. Such a great idea. I’m going to have to try this where I live.
“He doesn’t know what it’s like to have a back ache so I’m going with him” 😂
I felt that 😔
Felt that to my core. I feel sore and stiff after every round 🥴
Now I’m thinking about my local courses trying to put a random 9 together
love to hear that
Holy Moly Utah looks so beautiful. I need to visit for sure!
Good hunting too. Utah elk are pretty damn nice.
"Triple Divot Cam" made me snort my drink through my nose, I laughed so hard...
hah! sorry not sorry
"Couple of ringers then eh?" Proceeds to chuck one 90 yards short...
Not being critical (trying to actually learn the rules of golf)... but if you play OB off the tee (no stroke and distance taken) and then put it in the water (although narration said 2 into the water), should the score on 11 be Drive, 2 penalty, shot in water, 2 penalty (no stroke and distance) chip, 3 putt... is that not a 10 or even an 11??? Hopefully someone can help me? Rule book is hard to grasp!!!
Go to the PGA and usga sites and read the rules
If the rules seem contradictory or unclear, ask specific questions about specific rules.
For example
If you drive OB off the tee, is that a determination made from the tee or by finding your ball lying OB or by the fact that you last saw the ball heading OB but you never actually found your ball OB...so in effect it is just a lost ball?
In general this is what you will have for every shot. It is either found or lost. The distinction is important. Where you find it or think that it was lost is a second distinction. The rules will specify your options from there.
I would base my answer on a step by step analysis except I rarely keep score and I am only generally aware of the official rules. Honestly. I rarely go back and re-hit a shot when I lose a ball. I usually just drop near where I am when I give up looking.. I think that drops are made either on the fairway or at the hazard boundary...
But dropping in peril where you are going to waste strokes or risk losing a ball just to get back to a decent part of the hole is nonsense.
You can do that if you want...or not...but that is part of what it means to play by the rules. But what rules do you play by? Courses have local rules. Did you even know that?
It's a game. Play by sensible rules.
Felt like I was watching an EAL break 90 video for a second. JK. Enjoying this series. Utah is on the map now for me for a gold trip
it's worth mentioning that you guys do a great job with your graphics
Underrated comment right here
You are starting to look like all of that you hated about golf years ago... I'm sorry, but is what I see.
EAL it would be cool if you did a giveaway for a chance to play golf with you
So glad you got to play The Ledges. That was the last course I got to play before I lost My grandfather very suddenly. Made me happy Thank you Erik.
Does your score count to you? Yeah. Does it count for anything legit via USGA? No, but totally worth it.
YAYAYAYA I watched the simulator video from What's Inside Family btw with you
Nice work!
@@WHATSINSIDEFAMILY My Life is complete. You guys commented on this comment in this video, and liked the other one on your channel. I will be telling this story to my grandkids one day. MAGICAL
I will definetly do this next year with the clubs in my city.
Green Springs absolutely gets my vote for one of the best value courses down there! Brand new golfer (about 1 month playing seriously), but I had the pleasure of sneaking in a morning back 9 a couple of days ago for $35. I par'd that 11th hole! That 2nd shot over water was so scary, couldn't decide if I wanted to play it safe left or send it with my pitching wedge to the green. After a minute of doubting, my last thought was "...yeah but it could be fun" and finished with a 2 putt! Can't wait to go back.
Keep up the great work EAL! Always look forward to your videos!
Erik you should swing over and play Moab Golf Club (Moab UT) sometime. Arguably one of the best courses in red rock country!
Lincoln ate his Wheaties! What a beast
haha! Had himself the round of his life!
Can't believe I moved away from UT without ever playing down there
sounds like a trip back is a must
EAL is that dude, but when you talked about not having money to play courses during your come up. I can see their eyes glazing over as they can’t relate at all. Beau is my preferred playing partner of yours. He seems cool as hell.
Erik
That guy is looking at you like you're crazy
Just be normal for once
i'm so confused. so are masks not a thing there? and your allowed to take the flag out? and you have ball cleaners? man i wish it was like that here.
can't spell real without EAL
All fun and games until you score a quadrupel. /Nick Faldo
I'm going to have my bachelor party in Vegas next year and I will definitely be making a detour.
Sounds like a smart plan
What kind of golf bag does Eric have in this video???????
Not sure why this doesnt have more views... just trying to interact
6:35 the biggest let down putt ever caught on film
How come there are no houses on the scorecard?
Love the content keep it up EAL!
Let’s gooo
Lack of masks isn’t a great sight 🥴
If y’all do this in NJ, y’all better check out hole 11 at Crystal Springs Golf Club “The Quarrie Hole”
Hubby and I (a new golfer) played Green Springs, Sky Mountain, and Sunbrook over President's Weekend in 1998. Three beautiful, challenging courses. Don't remember houses being at Green Springs - area has really built up.
I love your videos but it would be nice if you took Covid-19 seriously and social distance correctly and wear a mask. Example fist bumping the pro shop employee. Besides that always fun to watch.
I see u wit dat evnroll tho
This series reminds me of a golf course just outside of Houston called Tour 18, where the entire course consists of replicas of PGA tour holes. It’s like playing a best 18 on a single course.
Are the courses you are visiting in this series reasonably priced for the average weekend golfer? I'm moving to Colorado in Feb but I plan to for sure take longer road trips out and around this area.
I live in St George and play all these courses all the time. I love the holes they chose!
lucky you!
@@RandomGolfClubFilms Yea we are spoiled for choice down here. You could easily come back and play another set of random 18 holes from courses you didn't play.
Ditching wedge to putt off the green for double... too relatable lol EAL always keeping it real
Hey Eric, what hardware do you use for recording? Keep up the work.
Dude, this is so cool. What beautiful landscapes. As always, thanks so much for the great content!
17:47 Edge of my seat. What a classy couple guys and great time! Loved this vid E.A.L. gang!
Eric, how often do you use the player’s series jones bag?
This has definitely added a Southern Utah golf trip to my bucket list!
Yessss
I was going to save these videos for winter golf watching but damn..too good.
nice vids :-)
Want a rgc budget version for broke college students
So glad to see you in my home town getting a taste of our awesome courses here. Hope you make it back and we randomly run into you on the course.
I felt every bit of the pain, anger, and utter hopeless on that last hole!
I've been looking forward to this!
ERIK! Who makes those dope pants?
Found one of your tees at green springs!
Come up to mt, I will show you a good time.
What a cool video! Big fan.
such a fun series....more please!
I love you and everything you do
Damn, Lincoln has a smooooth swing
I love these. Keep them coming!
Hey Erik love your stuff, been watching you since Scratch golf on vice. I didn’t know how to send a private message so I hope you see this, but do you have any suggestions on how to grow your channel. Keep up the great stuff, would love to play with you sometime
CAxALLDAY thanks for the reply and the feedback. I’m contemplating getting a drone right now, and way to make my content more interesting. But I appreciate the feedback and the sub both mean a tremendous amount. I hope I can to provide interesting content and become a gold standard source of entertainment for you as I continue to improve my content
So awesome to see all of these courses on here, especially Red Hills! I used to play Red Hills for $7 a day ($6 for 9 holes, plus a $1 for as many more as you want), amazing to see it on here. Number six at Green Springs is the hardest hole I’ve ever played.
100% not only the hardest hole in St George but maybe the hardest hole in Utah
erik this series is the coolest golf video on youtube
Magic 👏🏻👏🏻🏴
Those courses look insane
Man that grom can putt
Greetings from Minneapolis! Headed on this trip in early November!

Surprised that no masks were required in the pro shop

Love it!!!
Great
“Do we say hello?”
Love the idea of a City Golf Walk, it sure adds a big cool twist to the game
Erik, you are easily the coolest person I've never met. Hopefully we cross paths one day
Can we get another podcast with Stu? Need more Stu in my life.
