janice brown as long as your hair is curly it can wave!!! Waves are just your curls laying flat I have type 4 hair and my waves are dipping ..good luck

Kinky hair is very coiled the problem maybe keeping the coils to stay flat..
I know this is late but never forget we created waves. It’s meant for all melanated people. And in recent years literally anybody with the slightest curl pattern. Anybody from 1B-4C can get waves honestly. 1A if you try really hard.
