The railings are hands down the best thing to happen to air vehicles. I used them to make an amphibious aircraft that flies hands off level and looks to be every bit as maneuverable as everything I've seen in these videos. It's able to slalom through the supports on the Tarrey Town rail, spot land on the tiny flower island things, I've even flown straight into Hyrule castle and back out again. Likewise, I can take off from a sky island and not even touch the controls, it'll fly straight from one corner of the map to the other after using a few zonai charges. It can take off and land effortlessly on both land and water, floats, and has enough lift and free space to carry a korok or a few zonai devices. It can act like a vehicle and drive on land provided there are no big obstacles to catch on, as long as you don't pull back on the stick you stay on the ground. If you fly full speed into the water, you'll sink down into the water and very briefly be submerged before popping back up without losing control. Add a shock emitter to it and you can dive bomb fish wherever you see them. If you see a treasure chest floating in the water, you also have a platform large enough to lift the chest onto the vehicle and open it. Plenty of space to attach large brightblooms all over it for the depths. And for what it's worth, it's also fast enough to cue the wind speed animation around you in a dive. All you need are 4 railings, 4 fans, and a control stick. Take two railings and make a + shape, that's the base, with a control stick in the center of it. On the left and right side, fuse the railings below the base at the furthest ends to act as landing gear preventing your four fans from touching the ground (think darth vader's tie fighter, but without anything sticking up above the base). The rear of these two railings shouldn't be even with the base, but rather sticking forward a little. If they're even with the base you won't be able to get the leverage needed to rotate and lift off the ground. The fans are similar to a simple hoverbike, two at 45 front and back underneath the base, but with an extra two pushing straight back for speed, these go to the left and right center underneath the base. The closer the left and right fans are together, the more turning maneuverability you will have, at the expense of stability and hands free flying. As for the 45 fans, you may need to move them forward or back individually to trim the aircraft to fly straight and level, but you'll want to keep a little room between them for extra stability. I chose 4 fans because I needed at least two at 45 to carry any meaningful load and two to ensure adequate speed, but there is room to add a third 45 fan in the very center under the control stick for additional lift with heavier cargo (multiple zonai devices, shrine crystals, etc). The placement of all four fans will change the flying characteristics and maneuverability, but you'll want to keep them more or less symmetrical and balanced around the control stick.

8:30 In Breath of the wild, I roleplayed a Link that had suffered massive head trauma, completely forgot he was a brave warrior, and it turns out, he's a merchant extraordinaire. He had bright yellow clothes and a cape, and he would wander the land mining and fishing and hunting and finding treasures and selling them at towns. He would do sidequests for profit, and when he got really brave, he'd explore the main story mission areas, again for treasure. But he was a skittish fighter who used his brain instead of his brawn. He'd blow up enemy camps, use stealth, sneak attacks, bombs, arrows. The fun was in the gathering and exploring, and selling the goods afterward. Some lady kept talking about a Calamity whatever, but Link ignored that. Head trauma has weird effects, you see. Anyway, I totally identify with the Link for profit roleplay going on in this part of the video. Beedle has nothing on Link.
So much new tech in this episode. The Metal Gear Ray is extremely impressive and sturdy. I have a build that I can’t show on video. But basically, if you get a shock emmiter and add a hydrant on top, the surrounding area of it will shock any monster that is pretty close to it. Try it out and please feel free to implement it in your videos!
I’ve spent so many hours trying to make a functional airship … a flying vehicle using the ship chassis. At first I tried for a permaflight using batteries and turbines, but it was too heavy to ever get off the ground. Later I tried just turbines and the lightweight Ancient Railing, giving up on perma-flight. Still no luck. Maybe it’ll work with a ton of fans and balloons, but the former will guzzle power and the latter will disappear very soon.
Ok I'll be honest, I didn't expect much from the metal gear ray build, I even saw the post on reddit but scrolled past, but that was actually pretty cool.

Incorporate a few rails and you can make it like skateboarding make a jump or something you know at the end or you can have your car with a big jump at the end and then make a huge gap that would be sweet
