I watched the Wire and was blown away by the realism and superb acting... I have started watching the Sapranos and it is no where near the excitement and acting level of the Wire.. in my mind there is just no comparison...I have to agree with everyone,,best tv series ever made...

Anyone wanting to analyze American society will find the 60 episodes to be a gold mine. (I am this country's number one unabashed, hopelessly addicted Wirefreak. For me, Season 2 is my favorite, but they're all superb - I've watched the series 7 or 8 times). Jamie Hector is great as Marlo; he's even better as Jerry Edgar in Bosch - check it out if you haven't already.

I think one of the most incredible shows I've ever seen! Marlo's a Badman! I don't like most of the white people in it and I think the cops are kind of crappy! I think the people playing part of the police there's only a field where there are very good!
