This is such a helpful video. The only thing is it was very distracting to be shown the incorrect way first. As a beginner I think I would benefit most if it showed the finished stitch first, then the right way and wrong way last. But nonetheless, thank you for sharing!
Tv
Yeah I actually had to go back and treat her several times because it confused me lol but maybe this is to promote longer view time by making viewers watch back
I was a little confused in the beginning of wrong way first then proper way. However, I quickly caught on and did not mind watching "do not do" first. That way it stops you in your tracks and prevents you from doing it wrong because we always do the wrong way first!
Even though I am not a begginer and some of the stitching methods shown, I agree, it is quite confusing to show the incorrect way first than the right one because it might help the person to distinguish what ways to avoid in able doing it correctly.
I agree that I found it slightly distracting because of the order *but* it was actually really helpful to be able to see what actions end up with a poorly made stitch.
I really loved this video :)
My mom taught me how do a French knot but I had lost my touch. Thank you for giving me a refresher course. There are stitches here that I have never seen or heard of. Thank you for sharing
Thank you!!! Saving this! You’ve helped me so much with your channel navigating these times. I’m an RN in South TX. We’ve had so much going on besides the virus.
Embroidery is a great escape from everything when you want to create and just want “quiet”. ♥️
From an RN in the U.K. I have done lots of sewing but never embroidery, Now teaching myself, in my new craft room with “quiet”. Stay safe x
Thank you for distinguishing between right and wrong, especially for the French knot. It always comes worst for me but when I saw your video and tried the trick, it was perfect. Waiting for more new tutorials from you. Keep going!!!
I agree - it’s confusing to see it done incorrectly first. Otherwise, good content.
So nice to get this stitching lesson. I am a beginner and I have a vintage book to learn some embroidery stitches and your videos help to solidify the best technique.
Which tread we have to use?
Thank you so much for actually showing the movement to make the cast-on stitch!!!! I've been looking everywhere but everyone else does it so fast I couldn't figure it out. Thank you again!

Some people have daid seeing the wrong way first was disyracting. Sorry but i disagree, seeing the way I would've done it first made the difference easier to see. This was teally helpful, thank you.😊
Seems so simple, but those little "hold here" arrows make a huge difference

It's really necessary one as not only stitching some people grown ups not new borns behave absurdly as they think no matter what ever they do it is only correct and if any younger tell them this is not the way but little bit modified one also they can't tolerate infact they come in groups and curse you
But I am happy we get to know the basics thanks mam
Many things still are there which we might be doing wrong in daily basis May we get guidance for those wrong works also kindly pray for us also mam Allah bless us all always aameen

Thank you 😊
You have some good techniques.....but, I was always taught to separate the strands of floss individually then group them back for the required amount needed.
You can seperate them as much as you want to with these stitch techniques, she's just teaching everyone the basics without seperating her thred.
does that make it appear more neat?
@@indiesunflowers it just means you have less thread you're working with which will make thinner lines
