Honestly hilarious how bent out of shape tennis players get seeing others have fun. Pickleball is simply a more accessible sport, nobody's trying to argue it's harder/better.
I don't think most of us (tennis players) really hated pickleball. It was more so the fact that pickleball players started taking up tennis courts. Most of us are the same way when you play at a particular level and you walk out on a court and there's four old ladies playing tennis doubles hitting the ball at like 30 miles an hour max. I'm sure I will be playing pickleball myself in 20 or 30 years.
Some Tennis players just love hating on Pickleball because they are butthurt about the fact there is now more active Pickleball players then tennis players in America and because of that the number of courts (the vast majority of which were consistently empty anyway. Then I ended up with two massive back injuries from work (lifting people on the boo boo bus) and now Tennis is painful for me if I play to often. I still love tennis, I still love teaching tennis, but now I play once or twice a month and play or teach Pickleball at a high level. It is easier on my body and I can make much more money teaching it because people are interested and the sport is actively growing as opposed to tennis which has a player base that has been shrinking for decades. Also, almost every tennis player that said they'd "never play" that I'd gotten to try it? Ends up playing tons of Pickleball and loving it.

Silly game
I’m pretty young and I play tennis daily and I’d say I’m pretty good for my age. Recently my dad introduced me to pickleball and I proceeded to win almost every match. Tennis is a much more athletic sport and it takes much more training, but pickleball is for elderly people because it doesn’t require as much moving.
So true
All the people trying to defend a trash sport in the comments 💀💀
Lmao Fr it’s such a joke
Just curious but like…whats the harm in liking something? They shouldn’t HAVE to defend it like why rain on someone elses hobby or recreational activities lol
Tennis players mad LOL
Found the butthurt tennis players
When you have an opinion but back it up with any reason so you just call it trash and move on thinking you are better than other people.
There's a reason why pickleball is so popular nowadays. People can think they're at least good in one sport
As a tennis player, (since I was 6 and regularly now ) everyone asked me if I like pickle ball. My answer is always no
Nadal should play pickleball after he retires from tennis.
Facts
I just don’t see the difference other than the grunting and distance the ball is needing to be hit lol
Pickle ball is not a silly game 🙃
No literally I’ve played tennis for eight years and I played against a pickleball instructor and I absolutely crushed him
Not a silly game 💀
I’m a tennis player and one time in gym we’re playing pickle ball, I had a feeling I’m going to sell, but I did better than everyone 💀
You can’t go in the kitchen (the blue area)
He didnt
Kitchens lined in yellow
Pickle ball is tennis for people who don't wanna spend as much time to become good as tennis but still have fun
grunting in tennis is fine, but grunting in pickle ball while moving at 1mph is lame af 😭
Pickleball is a fun sport, but cmon did they really have to tear up the only clay courts in my area to replace with pickleball courts?
Starting red is generally better right now, leashing isnt necessary with jungle changes. You telling him you arent going to gank his lane is way more toxic then him not leashing you.
I think your comment is meant for a different video
I don't understand why a lot of tennis players are so condescending towards pickle ball players, let people have fun man we get it.
True I just wiped out my whole class on day one 😂 too easy
Curious to see how pickleball (or tennis) pro players stack up playing badminton ngl
Pickle ball is like playing tennis on video game.
Its fun idk what yall are on ab
I had to happen sooner or later. Something in between tennis and ping pong.
I don't understand why everyone dissing pickleball so much. All the comments keep saying that tennis players can play pickleball but pickleball players can't play tennis. Tennis has been around since the 1800s while pickleball has only been around since 1965. It's not a fair comparison
So true
Well of course…tennis is way harder
Honestly hilarious how bent out of shape tennis players get seeing others have fun. Pickleball is simply a more accessible sport, nobody's trying to argue it's harder/better.
Silly game, a perfect way to put it
I live watching y’all playing
I don't think most of us (tennis players) really hated pickleball. It was more so the fact that pickleball players started taking up tennis courts. Most of us are the same way when you play at a particular level and you walk out on a court and there's four old ladies playing tennis doubles hitting the ball at like 30 miles an hour max. I'm sure I will be playing pickleball myself in 20 or 30 years.
Nobody’s gonna talk about how he hit it around the net??
Legal! In pickleball we call that an ATP, around the post!
@@brettbarrette3201 bruh that’s too OP of a move
@@artofknives1094 it’s a great feeling, I hit two of these yesterday! 🤪
@@brettbarrette3201 omg!
Some Tennis players just love hating on Pickleball because they are butthurt about the fact there is now more active Pickleball players then tennis players in America and because of that the number of courts (the vast majority of which were consistently empty anyway.
I played national level USTA Jr's as a teenager. Taught and played tennis at a high level.
