Never tried isopropyl alcohol. You'd still have to pry it a little bit to get the alcohol under there. I've seen use heat guns on the backside to soften the adhesive. I can usually get the batteries in under 30 seconds. Takes longer though showing it on cam.
Most batteries have adhesive on the back. you will just need to remove the peal. In all honesty though i don't use it unless the casing is thicker and it has a chance of flopping around. If it's a thin case though there isn't much room. The battery shouldn't flop around.
Hello. I took out a broken 60 gig 5th gen hard drive and replaced it with an I Flash quad put in two SD 128 cards.. formatted them just to make sure everything was working before I continued.. all checked out fine. Put new battery in too. When I was finished I got the Connect to your computer use iTunes etc sign, when I connect it.. it is not picked up by iTunes and immediately I get a do not disconnect followed by an Ok to disconnect sign....and it just sits there doing nada....any ideas on that one?
Batteries connectors on my 2 iPods classic version 2.0.5 detach from the board when I try to disconnect them. I'm looking for someone who can re-solder them.
Awesome!
I was wondering if you had applied isopropyl alcohol, with the help of a cotton swab, would the battery have been more easily removed?

Hi, EXCELLENT video/s. I’m about to change my 7th gen battery. Will I need adhesive to prevent the battery from rattling?

what did you format them to? they need to be either exfat or fat32. Itunes might not see it, but is your computer seeing it in Disk Management?

Hey man, I was wondering if you know where to get iPods for a good price? EBay listings seem to be very overinflated and overpriced
Ebay would be the place to go. If you don't like there you can try Facebook Marketplace, Offer Up, Mercarri, etc.
@@hobbiesunlimited1 okay, thanks man
