Wow! Love the engagement and LOVE the game. Cannot wait for 2. PLEASE give me an optional “scale harder” option that keeps the game as punishing as it is during the start throughout the whole game.
Hovno! Naprostá dokonalost. A ta hudba! Všechno do sebe super zapadá a byl to neskutečnej zážitek si tuhle hru zahrát. Koupil jsem si hned tu knížku s artworkama a naprostá bomba, kolik úsilí jste vložili do logiky infrastruktury měst a vesnic a vůbec všeho. Do teď neexistuje hezčí a líp zvládnutá středověká hra, než Kingdom Come. Fakt tleskám! Mimochodem...chaloupka ježibaby byla fakt boží. :-D Hlavně ta pec s lopatou a kostma. Savage. :-D Mohl bych psát ještě dalších 50 řádek, ale už držim hubu. Skvělá práce a nemůžu se dočkat dalšího vašeho projektu. Hodně štěstí!
Never been to Czechia but I've been to Slovakia plenty and I live in Hungary, the landscape in this game is incredible, it straight up just feels like home, the colours are perfect and they absolutely nailed the foilage.
@@gabrokkerhun I'm from central Poland, but spend a lot time hiking in Bieskidy and Bieszczady mountains and playing this game felt sooo much like being there :) One of (if not the) most favourite games. Oh, and for someone who have done some historical fencing (HEMAish style) the fighting system in this game was almost perfect.
Yes. It helps that the archery is challenging and rewarding. Anyone else make a habit of providing fresh meat for the wounded at Sasau monastery every time your in the area, even after finishing the main story? Heal up already, people!
I think the biggest problem with people playing this game is they don't realize the game isn't going to baby you like other RPG's. When it comes to fighting it's actually easy if you pay attention to the dialogue and mechanics. You can train your sword fighting with wooden swords with Bernad, it may take some hours but you can max out your Sword, Mace, Defence, Agility through practicing with Bernad. It's kind of like Runescape if you've ever played it. I really love KCD, one of my fav games of all time.
Bro… I quit the game when I was first played because I wasn’t used to it but I came back to give it a chance I was terrible at combat I came to realize my combat skills were low. I spent like 12 hours grinding Bernard & and got every skill up fighting was much easier 💯 I use to struggle with that bandit boss Runt is his name & I destroyed him master strikes are super useful 🔥
You can even max out those stats in the prologue which makes the rest of the playthrough absolutely hilarious because everyone treats you like a noob but you are actually able to take down all of them
love that quest, I went drinking with the priest too, and the next day I said mass, a friend of mine made different choices and completely skipped that drinking binge phase, and finished the quest completely differently.
@@Blue1479758Yeah exactly right, I've been longing for that experience since being a kid. Growing up in the 90s made me have this feeling playing certain games, I've just started this game and it's giving me that same experience and emotion all over again and I'm 32. A masterpiece of game creation, can't wait for KCD 2.
I remember my first few hours with the game. Spoiler-free, I'm at the first castle that you get a little bedroom in, and I decide, time to explore this very realistic castle here. So I'm walking through the halls, patrolling the battlements, etc. I climb to the top of a tower to see if theres anything. There isn't so I go to climb down. I miss the ladder, and fall about 10-15 ft to the floor below. In any other RPG, I would have been fine, or maybe taken a small health hit. But not KCD. Because I wasn't wearing shoes at the time, i cut my feet when I land. Immediately, I begin to bleed out. The only way to stop bleeding is to bandage the wound. Problem; I'm trapped inside the castle, with no bandages in my inventory. I begin searching through the castle frantically, but it is in vain. Thus, my very first death in the game, came from bleeding out from my feet, because I wasn't wearing shoes. This game is an absolute gem.
Played on hardcore, tutorial level part, get caught stealing charcoal from the burner. Jail animation, I skip it, suddenly I get two achievements+ a loading screen "Congratulations for being arrested! Congratulations for being burned at the stake!" Suddenly I'm met with a game over screen and I'm absolutely laughing my fucking ass off at the fact that I stole 4 charcoal in the tutorial and they see it fit to set me alight
After playing for maybe 2 hours after the intro I ran into 3 bandits all with no armor and low grade weapons, 1 was an archer, I kill the two bandits with melee weapons (with great difficulty) and get shot with an arrow, I managed to get the archer to surrender and realize I’m bleeding out, I let him go and then frantically try to find a bandage among his friends, I notice the archer fall to the ground, it seems he also bled out so I check him for a bandage because I’m panicking heavily at this point hoping for anything but no he didn’t have anything but some gold and his arrows, I then head back to town on foot, needless to say, I didn’t make it.
@@AdolfHitler-pm3lc Its not that you get burned as punishment :D you just burn inside with the jail itself because the town gets attacked and burned to the ground :DD
@@d_mb It is true, it happened to me while i was fooling around, showing my friend the game, when i got put in jail in the tutorial for straight-up hitting a guard and then surrendering lol Due to how the tutorial works, being in jail at that time, is the wrong time, so you die. We were laughing our asses off at that lol
I was out at night randomly exploring and I saw a knight in the middle of the forest. I actually almost started to attack until I lit my torch and saw he just wanted to duel. I was using a shield so we were fighting in the moonlight, I could barely see. He started kickin my ass but thankfully i pulled off a riposte that finished him. I got a nice reward and then I start following this dude deeper in the woods. Suddenly I get ambushed by a large group of bandits hiding in the bushes. Next thing I know I see that knight walk right in front of me and straight up master strike tf out of this bandit and drop him in 3 seconds lol. I draw my weapons and again I cant see cause I needed my shield. I panic in the dark and theres like 4 bandits on me, and I cant see the knight so I can regroup. I fell off a small hill/cliff and end up in the lake fighting off 3 bandits in the dark. I was about to die and was already bleeding out, I started focusing on my training with Bernard and was able to master block and combo the bandits until theyre all floating dead in the water. The whole thing was the craziest Kingdom Come moment I’ve ever encountered.
@@devoid8482 You using swords? Swords are ok for lower levels, but it can't cut through heavy armor. mace is better for heavy armor, but it doesn't cut. I prefer Axe, good for heavy attacks and can also do some stabbing. Go for head strikes, a couple of heavy hits, they should be done.
Once you are leveled up it becomes easier to manage multiple opponents and is possible to win 4 or 5 on 1 battles, just never let them get behind you or it’s over.
@@XRenimages I was running through groups of up to 5 people sometimes, although can be a bit of a slog it is possible especially with a war hammer and shield combo.
One thing you didn't mention, many of the places, character and story pieces ACTUALLY HAPPENED. For example the Sasau monastery is in czech named Klášter Sázava and jt looks absolutely identical to that one in the game. Or that village at the beggining and many other castles.
I love that in the codex part of the menu you can learn actual real story like how racek kobyla was a real dude and different things about the common life of 15th century bohemia
@@darthdoerte4625 go look at the google reviews for Rataje/Rattay. The town looks almost the exact same, with some historically accurate changes to layout.
Talking about the beginning: Back in 2020 I started playing and while it was somewhat interesting it was also frustrating and just a lot of walking and talking. So I stopped playing when I arrived at Talmberg. I didn't play it for 2 years until recently and realized, that right after that segment in Talmberg the actual games is just beginning! Seriously, it takes around 3 hours in, until intro credits appear! After that part where I stopped playing you get on your first horse, get your first real mission and suddenly this amazing open world, one of the most immersive, realistic and naturally beautiful ones, opens up to you! If you like me stopped playing during the first 3 hours which are actually just a tutorial and the prologue-give it another chance! This is a unique gaming experience.
@@quack4800 1000% once I got used to the combat system by forcing myself into battles, I breezed through the game and had fun every second learning all the skills/secrets of Bohemia. @@devoid8482 Agreed but as you said at first it's easy to misunderstand, I even quit on it after my first experience but it reeled me back in ... Now I have signed KCD merch 😆
I think 2 sequel games are coming, since kcd is set in a timeline just before the hussite war (it is a big historical event for us Czech people aka Bohemia where this game takes place) long story short people got gradually angry with the catholic church taking 1/10 of their income and later 1/9 of their income and what also angered them is the fact that (just like in this game) you could pay money to buy a pardon/indulgence for your sins to be forgiven by the god and so one guy (Jan Hus... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jan_Hus) started preaching differently and trash talked the catholic church so they imprisoned him and asked him to say again what he thought about the catholic faith and he replied with "I would not for a chapel of gold retreat from the truth!" so they publicly burned him at a stake and thus the huss (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hussites) revolution started and shook the whole middle Europe, these new teachings basically said we split all the incomes among everyone blah blah blah, in the end it was a hell of a bloodshed but they won as they triumphed against the crusaders, so I think this is what the next games are aiming for... thanks for reading all the way :D
@@jirikrulis2853 Have tp agree, Warhorse originally planned a trilogy, and given the fact they're still hiring suggests they're planning for the long haul... A lot can change of course but fingers crossed a sequel won't be long.

@@Garviel_especially that stupid rolling around combat. It’s too cringe for me. In reality rolling around in combat is total nonsense. It’s things like that for that just don’t make it fun, not the difficulty which is good.
The graphics of KCD was quite spectacular 5 years ago. But one thing it does that no other game has pulled off for me is creating the feeling of walking through a real forrest. It's almost like Warhorse employees are the only ones who's ever been to an actual forrest. I also like that you can get through most of the main story without actually learning to fight. I think you need to pull off one duel, which you can just use a mace for and get thought pretty quickly. Most of the main story isn't revolved around fighting. (Sure the sieges, but you can let others do the fighting, and just bop random people from behind) Love this game.
Once i figured out alchemmy: poison and healing potion i made them in industrial quantity, there was not a weapon in my arsenal that wasnt covered in death juice. More dmg, dmg over time while i shoot all the enemies from afar and then just wait them out. Poisoned food in an enemy camp dressed as one of them. I felt really smart. Then there a mission where you meet that german knight i fought him, spared him, he died after our conversation due to poison. Thanks kingdom Come: Deliverence
This game is AWESOME. It can be really frustrating at times but once you start playing it there is no stopping. It sucks you into a world you just can't bring yourself to leave. One of the best games i have ever played.
minor correction.. although it's the studio's first game, but it's the studio of the person who wrote mafia 1 and 2 and he definitely knows what he's doing :D but one thing that's amazing about this game is the landscape... if you spend enough time in the game and you come to the Czech Republic (Posázaví region) so you can walk around those places and get to know them because the terrain hasn't changed that much since the Middle Ages and, for example, squares, watchtowers, monasteries and larger ruins are still standing there :D so I recommend coming to the Czech Republic and doing take a trip there :D personally, I would be willing to take the time and make a guide for free just to show more of the history of our beautiful country
@@PeterLE2 Goulash is originating from Hungary, so if we're talking about how good a goulash is, it's theirs. We other people around them have different versions of that meal.
@@joshspace99 @joshspace99 May I ask where you are from? Your statement is true and I know about Hungarian gulasch but it's also nonsense. There are many dishes that are made all over the world because in the end it's just a basic way of preparing food. Pizza for example is originated in Italy. But in Germany we have a similar dish that's called Flammkuchen. It is a thin piece of wheat flour yeast dough with a sauce (here sour cream) and some toppings. The purpose of this dish was just to test the temperature of the oven before you bake the real bread. Change the cream with tomato sauce and you have pizza. Another example are dumplings. You know maybe Chinese or Japanese dumplings Jiaozi. They are meat and/or veggies wrapped in dough and cooked in water or broth. In Italy you have tortellini, in Poland or Russia you have Piroggen and in Germany you have Maultaschen. They are all more or less the same dish. England is famous for its pates. It's meat wrapped in dough and baked. It was done to make the meat last longer before the invention of fridges. The same was done in Germany, France, Italy and probably many other countries but nowadays people talk only about English pate. Now let's talk about gulasch. It's roughly chopped meat fried with veggies and cooked for a long time in water to get a thick dark broth. That was done all over the world for thousands of years. The Hungarian gulasch is a variety with capsicum that became famous. I guarantee you that meat fried with onions and capsicum and cooked afterwards in water was made thousands of years before in South America before capsicum even came to Hungary.Gulasch btw was not the Hungarian word for the dish. Nowadays the term is used for all kinds of dishes that are made this way. And I really like the Polish version of gulasch that is usually prepared without capsicum but lots of garlic. But I also like Hungarian gulasch
One of, if not the, best experiences I had in a RPG. I rediscovered what it's like to wish to explore a game, without knowing what awaits you, something I lost after playing Assassin's creed and the likes where everything feels so artificial and limited. I really got immersed in the game and love almost all mechanics, everything is so well thought and just shows that it's a really unique experience developers put their heart into, not just another project to bring in cash flow to pay for the employees' salaries. I have so many memories playing that game and would gladly support the studio when their second game comes out. Happy to see you got into the game in the end, I get how it's not very inviting for "casual" gamers (I include myself there) but it's definitely worth it.

@@devoid8482 I never tried that. There are some that are so ridiculous that it makes the play through not even fun. I have all but 2. There’s one where you finish the game on hardcore with all negative perks, and one where you have to be celibate. I didn’t even try those.
@@devoid8482 One tip I have that really helps is to to get the first ten treasure map chests that you don’t have to pick a hard lock for at the very beginning of the game. I'm playing the game the second time and still enjoying it. I love the fact that this is a work of the Czech studio and the history and locations are real. I visited Sasau Monastery (Sázavský klášter), Ratay (Rataje) and other places. I love the fact that the game offers education - Czech history, habits, church rules, craft etc. The studio did a really good job.
This game was really good. I had no idea I wanted it until I played it, and couldn't bring myself to play anything else for weeks. The combat feels so rewarding when you put the effort in the master a skill and use the combos against your opponents
I still think RDR2 holds the title for “most immersive rpg to date”, but KCD definitely has it beat on some aspects. RDR2 had a lot of handholding, and you’d get a marker on the map telling you exactly where to go. But I love how in KCD sometimes it’s like “decode this diary full of metaphors to figure out where author went” .. or like “the Bandits were last sighted North of Sasau. Where exactly? Idk somewhere in several acres of woodland”

As somebody who loves history this game is a must have - the attention to detail and authenticity in the environments is breathtaking. I can't think of another game or even move that portrays the medieval world like kingdom come does.
I preordered this game before it came out, played it once, then ragequit. I revisited it a year later and fell in love with it. Reading the comments, I could’ve made it easier on myself by grinding the character skills up. I never grinded the skills. I just progressed as I completed all the quests and the main story. After I got my first full set of plate armor I decided it was time to venture back to the mines and kill some bandits. I ended up in a 45 minute duel with another plate armored opponent. Thankfully I won.
Dude, getting in 10 minute+ battles are literally epic and keep you on the edge of your seat. Up there by skalitz I ended up fighting a group of about 5, master strikes took care of 4 but this one last guy… I was playing on hardcore so I couldn’t see my health, but man I felt like I was on the brink of death the entire time

I love how hard combat was at the start of the game, but after many, many hours and my skills maxed out it honestly became a walk in the park. That huge bandit camp with Mr. Bald guy I managed to clear out solo, it got so bad I just restricted myself to no armour and walk in the fanciest clothes and a mid tier sword (the decorated sabre) to give myself some challenge, would recommend fyi. Learning the bow was a godsend, once you know how to shoot you can easily drop 2 bandits with the right arrow and bow before they reach you making the fights much easier
My only complaint on this game during my first playthrough is that it ended so fast to me 😢 it felt like it was all leading to something massive and then it ended like two thirds of the way into it 😅
Let me share one of my experience with this game. I was on a quest to clear a bandit camp. I got on my horse, rode to the nearest Inn with my shining armor on. I rented a room, had some food and drink, played a few rounds of the mini games with the customers there, and I wait till night. When night fell, I took off my heavy armor, put on my light stealth clothes, then I headed to the camp. I could just assassinate those bandits while they slept, but instead I stole all of their weapons and armors. I returned to the Inn, had a good night sleep. When sun rise, I went back to the camp, fully equipped with my heavy set, and I saw bunch of butt naked bandits charging at me with their fist. I was just hilarious😂😂. I easily sliced them one by one and finished the quest.
Yo man, great vid! I had a real similar experience with the game, only years after I bought it because daaam it melts PCs and my GTX 760 just couldn't cope. Large scope indie RPGs like this are so rare and should be celebrated, their dedication to historical realism is next level. Anyways got my sub - peace
I love kingdom come to the front so much I think I bought it in 2021 but people don’t understand that you actually have to play the game for an amount of time to get good at it I think when I first started at least spent three hours training just to get good with the sword so I can take out enemies and don’t even get me started on archery
Dude archery I was so damn terrible it wasn’t even funny 😂😂😂 & yea I spent like 12 hours straight grinding combat with Bernard 💯 in which Bernard is ridiculously op he would give any fictional character a run for their money when it comes to the ⚔️ no doubt
@@devoid8482 Archery was not so bad for me. Get stealthy clothes and just stalk rabbits at first. Then the archery competitions but once you reached level 10, I went to shooting chumps on the river. Every time I won, I got a huge archery xp boost. I levelled up pretty fast that way, long before I mastered the sword. It made me capable of drawing the bow before a fight, get a shot off and eliminate one enemy, maybe two so the odds were evened if more attacked me.
@@terencesdurag2823 it is an RPG and you need to level up your strength and particular weapon skill. Then you need to get a better weapon which is usually level-locked e.g. you can't use it effectively if you are low level. Don't rush it - study books and train in Rattay. You can give yourself an edge if you use poison on blade and if you drink some potions.

Great video and I agree it is the most realistic depiction of medieval life and to me felt more like time travel than role playing. The landscape and structures are based on real places btw, there are videos that show some today and they have hardly changed.
I always liked the limited saves because they force you to be more sparing with your saves early in the game, which helps with immersion. By the time you get a couple chapters in the money you spend on saves just feels like pocket change though.
Among the first things I did was grind alchemy to make my own saviour schnapps, then I proceeded to loot every town, fill my horse with shit, go to next town to sell, rinse and repeat until I became stupid rich. And had the best gear possible.
This is probably one of my favorite games of all time. It made me want to play and explore video games again. It was refreshing and new, plus how these historical fictional characters/world come to life is awesome.
This game reminded me of when I was a child, and I would play for hours and grind it out. And I mean grind like it used to be. That is to simply get better through your understanding of the game, it's mechanics, it's world even; and not just fall into a void of mindlessly repeating actions so your "character"... ahhhaha... gets better. No, I myself got better. And in real tangible terms. It really does make all the difference to me with regards to satisfaction with both the game, and myself. That is very rare in a modern single player experience.
Damn I relate hard with this. Just bought it on ps when it was on sale and almost stopped playing early on. Stuck with it, and it's one of my favorite games of all time 👍
I downloaded this game a year ago and uninstalled it after the first fight where you’re scripted to lose. Redownloaded it last week and have put like 20 hours in so far and love it. Also this is the first time I’ve seen one of your videos, fantastic work man keep it up
Just got the game a week ago, and I’m glad I found this channel. I got the same issue with the stuck lockon mechanics, makes fighting more than one person much harder than it should be With the guards finding you after killing somebody, I think its because of the conspicuous stat. There are no police regulations here so they will profile you if you dirty or drunk, or wear stolen armor.
One of the few games I can just wander around and have a good time in. The natural world in KCD is especially immersive (and good if you're living in a city and can't get that outdoor feel/mental health benefit)
Manga references, Gen-Z existentialism, hot-takes... man, looking forward to more content from you on games I'm on the fence on. I'm sold on KCD! Thanks a mill, good sir!
the best thing about this game is the Hardcore difficulty, just the fact that you don't appear on the map and have to locate yourself by looking around and by the map drawings already brings a 10x bigger immersion, and this game is about immersion, no regrets on start a blind playthrough on the Hardcore mode, also add the sleepwalking trait for a little more flavour
I think there's an achievement if you have all the negative perks and finish the game. It's actually not too bad but there is a lot of grinding to get to be a fighting machine.
Yes! The amount of time I spent staring at a map trying to figure out which intersection of paths I was at was ridiculous but also character building. I will say it made exploring the woods quite the challenge lol
This game got my adrenaline pumping more than any other game I've played. The pure terror of sneaking around a bandit camp knowing that if you get caught you are almost guaranteed to die and when you do the last 3 hours of your gameplay will be deleted is just next level. Also this game has the greatest character development EVER. Henry goes from poor incapable blacksmith's son to one of the most capable fighters/diplomats/horse riders/lady's men in the land. He goes from throwing shit at a house to advising lords, from illiterate to literate, from incapable fighter to tournament champion, from banging the ale house maid to banging the Lady of Talmberg Castle. And to top it all off this game has possibly the best sound track I have ever heard. The scene when Henry marches with Lord Divish and Robard to meet up with Radzig and Hanush to attack the bandit camp gave me major goosebumps. The music during that cutscene was just amazing.
wanted to add about the Schnapps: there is a area above Rattay, on your way to Neuhof, where you can find *hundreds* of bushels of Belladonna and Nettle. Those are the only ingredients you need to craft Schnapps. To mastercraft (get 3 for the price of one) pour wine, drop in the nettle, pull the bellows 5x, immediately put two handfulls of belladonna in the mortar and crush it, pour it in the cauldron, pull the bellows 2x times, flip the sandglass, and collect when the sandglass empties.
I had such a similar journey! I started the game and gave up a few days later. Then after sitting in the background for about 4 months I was called back. Now I’m on my fourth play through trying a completely different gameplay and stumbling across new things. Now I’m just playing hoping for the next game!!
Lol dude this video was hilarious and awesome. Thank you. I’m going to retry this game. Bought it a long time ago and never got that far into but I’ve heard so many good things.
thanks man! I think you also my 1300th subscribers as well I promise to never let you down when it comes to reviewing games I have another video that I am working on thats set to release maybe about 5-6 days from now!
The combat actually gets easy faster than you might realize. The first go round but you have to go through all the trainings to unlock the important finishing moves... And much like in real medieval life sword training is hard to get... But it's at the other gate of that city where he end up with the Miller
KCD is great. Like a bit Oblivion janky but so much more rewarding than many games. I also started on hardcore with all negative perks, so I'm one of those weirdos.
KCD is one of my all time favourite games but you definitely need patience to play. A lot of people come to the game expecting a Skyrim like game but set in real life medieval times. However, its more of a medieval life simulation. EVERYTHING is way more in depth and difficult as it would be for a peasant boy, which is literally what you start as. Hell you cant even READ and need to learn that too! That's part of its charm in my opinion, building up from a peasant who can't do anything and runs away from every battle, to training with swords and other weapons, slowly learning how to read and gradually get better at diplomacy (speech skill) to end up as a pretty bad ass knight is brilliant.
This game is highly underrated in all ways. Sure, it has bugs or issues. Every game does now. This game, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, is a truly awesome RPG. Grab a copy, commit to it, and grow with the main character.
I love this game. It's one of the most beautiful games to just take a walk or ride in. The sound editing is fantastic. It's maybe the most environmentally immersive RPG I've ever played.
I was also put off by it first, but then you realise the depth behind it, not to mention the very engaging story and writing and its easy to overlook the frustrating parts. I really hope for a sequel where Warhorse Studios removes the unnecessarily inconvenient/frustrating parts while keeping the realism of the first.
litterally one of my favorite games. 3rd playthrough and lvl 18. havent even taken out the second encampment yet. hitting every side mission i can +dlc. definitely the most immersive rpg of all time.
I named my cat Henry after completing this game last year. He was only 6 weeks old, found him underneath my stairs alone and cold, wet in the midst of winter. Brought him inside and he ate everything I put in front of him for 2 weeks. Got checked at vet, got his shots and now he's big, strong and happy.
This is simultaneously a 10/10 and a 0/10 game. I've never played a game like this before. I can't stop playing it even though about 60% of this game I actively hate. Terrible quests, no pay, really, really bad audio quality, awful fps drops and glitches. Yet it's still fun to play. Games with half that many problems to me don't get more than an hour from me and I'm about 15 hours in now
I followed this game donated to the Kickstarter campaign and pre-ordered it for my ps4 it was so good in my opinion challenging but in the best way. the story I thought was also very good, but that ending still gets me a little teary-eyed.
The best thing about the devs of this game is that they refused to submit to some critics who wanted more black people or strong women in this game. That takes balls in our unfortunate modern era.
@@devoid8482Only thing black about you is your skin, what black person feeds into these white supremacists lies, you know ain't none of us trying to be in a Viking show.
@@fire418 The thing about strong women was in response to one of the stretch goals where they stated they'd add in a playable female character who was "smart, courageous and good at stealth". This has since materialised as the last DLC, a woman's lot, which has by far been the most controversial. The black people thing was in response to Vavra, co founder and one of the developers, stating that there were absolutely no black people in medieval Bohemia. Allegedly this was done to court controversy and in turn drum up attention pre-release. Although this has become much more complicated with Vavra's expanding claims of their being no nonwhite people in Bohemia at the time has become increasingly criticised (including but not exclusively) by historians, Vavra's vehement doubling down and also his association with 'questionable' groups.
Once you get around the combat and learn the combat is amazing and intense, which took me a while, I pretty much got the hang of it during the fight with the guy in black who stole Kobylas sword, something clicked and made sense. then I discovered the war hammer + shield combo and at times I was one tapping people in the head with full plate armour helmets on. And I love how quests will go on without will some whole entire quest lines will finish if you dont keep on schedule. you cant just start it and continue a few hours later, like when the lads leave for Neuhoff and if you take to long to meet them at the castle they will ride without you and chew you out when you finally get to Neuhoff. Amazing fucking game.
I'm playing this game on Hardcore mode right now, and I miss being able to see Henry on the world map as well as having waypoints on the compass. The fighting reticle I don't miss to much. I seriously miss being able to see objectives on the compass from across the map. I get turned around so easy in the woods and the roads I'll end up going the wrong way and have to back track or find a familiar land mark and try again. Still a lot of fun though.
I did the same thing just came across it. man it is amazinggg. wow. loving it. once the learning curve is complete or mostly this experience becomes like no other.

Hovno! Naprostá dokonalost. A ta hudba! Všechno do sebe super zapadá a byl to neskutečnej zážitek si tuhle hru zahrát. Koupil jsem si hned tu knížku s artworkama a naprostá bomba, kolik úsilí jste vložili do logiky infrastruktury měst a vesnic a vůbec všeho. Do teď neexistuje hezčí a líp zvládnutá středověká hra, než Kingdom Come. Fakt tleskám! Mimochodem...chaloupka ježibaby byla fakt boží. :-D Hlavně ta pec s lopatou a kostma.

Jail animation, I skip it, suddenly I get two achievements+ a loading screen
"Congratulations for being arrested!
Congratulations for being burned at the stake!"
Suddenly I'm met with a game over screen and I'm absolutely laughing my fucking ass off at the fact that I stole 4 charcoal in the tutorial and they see it fit to set me alight
@@d_mb I could definitely see that, the achievement description just seemed a bit odd if that is the case lmao

(Sure the sieges, but you can let others do the fighting, and just bop random people from behind)

May I ask where you are from?

How do you even fight in combat. I do literally no dmg and just die immediately
@@TheAntsh Thats the thing. Idk how to level up my stats or where to train in Rattay.
This is the best medieval game I've played so far. Been waiting for a sequel for too long already.
God bless Warhorse Studios!
I'm only like 4-5 hours in and this videos made me even more excited than I already was about the game, love your style dude cant wait for more 👍
This game is one of if not my favorite game love the time period as a sword nerd I love the detail that went into the combat as a masochists I love the difficulty and I love the amount of detail that went into the map and how accurate it is to the actual location
Great video and I agree it is the most realistic depiction of medieval life and to me felt more like time travel than role playing. The landscape and structures are based on real places btw, there are videos that show some today and they have hardly changed.
How did this come out a year ago but is "in 2024?"
Title edited to get more views and recognition
its a common tactic but its always in reference to when the player started playing it, not the release date.
Stuck with it, and it's one of my favorite games of all time 👍
It’s very good can’t wait for kingdom come deliverance 2
I downloaded this game a year ago and uninstalled it after the first fight where you’re scripted to lose. Redownloaded it last week and have put like 20 hours in so far and love it. Also this is the first time I’ve seen one of your videos, fantastic work man keep it up
Just got the game a week ago, and I’m glad I found this channel. I got the same issue with the stuck lockon mechanics, makes fighting more than one person much harder than it should be
With the guards finding you after killing somebody, I think its because of the conspicuous stat. There are no police regulations here so they will profile you if you dirty or drunk, or wear stolen armor.
Your voice is so calming and soothing. I loved the way you opened this vid
One of the few games I can just wander around and have a good time in. The natural world in KCD is especially immersive (and good if you're living in a city and can't get that outdoor feel/mental health benefit)
Hey, if you press Shift when you are locked on an enemy, it releases the lock and you can move the camera away.
That is the best RPG I ever played in 30 years gaming experience! Graphical options are awesome.
It is a crime that your videos dont get more views keep up the good work 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks man there is more to come all it takes is patience
@@devoid8482
Haha, yeah, I guess you didn't really expect a million views after three videos.
I had such a similar journey! I started the game and gave up a few days later. Then after sitting in the background for about 4 months I was called back. Now I’m on my fourth play through trying a completely different gameplay and stumbling across new things. Now I’m just playing hoping for the next game!!
This came out 2 years ago wth
It’s the first game I’ve seen make forests feel like forests. Dense vegetation, the sounds, the atmosphere, etc.
KCD is great. Like a bit Oblivion janky but so much more rewarding than many games.
I also started on hardcore with all negative perks, so I'm one of those weirdos.
I Never played oblivion before or any of the skyrim series I might make a video on those
@@devoid8482 they're decent games but the gameplay experience is very shallow compared to a game like this lol
@@ofrenic well said. True.
The only way to play.
@@ofrenic Not sure about decent though since they won multiple awards and are stated as some of the best singleplayer games there is
KCD is one of my all time favourite games but you definitely need patience to play. That's part of its charm in my opinion, building up from a peasant who can't do anything and runs away from every battle, to training with swords and other weapons, slowly learning how to read and gradually get better at diplomacy (speech skill) to end up as a pretty bad ass knight is brilliant.
have you tried hardcore mode the immersion is increased 10 fold!
This game is highly underrated in all ways. Sure, it has bugs or issues. Every game does now. This game, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, is a truly awesome RPG. Grab a copy, commit to it, and grow with the main character.
Hey, great video. Im currently on my 300th playthrough, trying to complete it before the sequel comes out!
is bro a time traveller? title and upload date aint makin sense 😂
Title says 2024, uploaded in 2022. My brain > Broken
I love this game. It's one of the most beautiful games to just take a walk or ride in. The sound editing is fantastic. It's maybe the most environmentally immersive RPG I've ever played.
Bro someone else on youtube straight plagarized parts of your review. Video is called "Why you SHOULD play Kingdom Come Deliverance in 2023"
Yea I seen that oddly enough me & that person has become friends but I appreciate you telling me
For me this game is right up there with RDR2 as most immersive rpg ever. The struggle is real but rewarding!
"Maybe I'm a plot device for this drunken man's character development." - Amazing line
litterally one of my favorite games. 3rd playthrough and lvl 18. havent even taken out the second encampment yet. hitting every side mission i can +dlc. definitely the most immersive rpg of all time.
I’ve been wanting to get into this game… the emersion goes crazy. Great content sir 🔥
Thanks man you are the type of audience I’m looking for you caught up with one Piece?
We need kingdom come deliverance 2!!! Even if I takes 10 years from now. I just want to know if it’s going to happen and I will be satisfied!!
Spot on review! The alchemy system is fairly unique, nowhere near Oblivion / Skyrim alchemy complexity. Definitely useful!
reading these books can teach you to treat herbs in reality. its crazy
I woke up early just to install the game early in the morning as soon as it released haha
You gunna change the title to 2025 next year?
Yea
@@devoid8482 nice
Lol exactly! I’ve been trying to explain how hard, but satisfying this game is once you get going!
Are you excited for the sequel?
The best thing about the devs of this game is that they refused to submit to some critics who wanted more black people or strong women in this game. That takes balls in our unfortunate modern era.
As a black person myself I agree it annoys me when I saw black people in the Vikings show when they weren’t prominent at all in that culture.
@@devoid8482
Precisely. I’m glad you agree. History is still history no matter what anyone thinks or if they like it or not.
Nobody asked for black people or strong women in this game, stop lying.
Dude your humor and jokes are amazing you made me laugh around 10 times loved the video keep it up.
Thanks man am currently working on a longer video so I think you love the next one!
You should play medeivel dynasty
@@MrSkeem currently 50 hours in its the video I am working on Im in year 3 right now in the game
@@devoid8482 Nice im in year 2:)
You are here because epic made it for free
Not for those who thought Elden Ring is game of the year! Epic. Completely agree. This game is just incredible.
people can enjoy two things lmao
Playing this now and found myself admiring how unique it really is. It realizes a vision with very little compromise.
God bless epic games
Underrated youtuber, just stumbled upon your channel and this is a fine ass video - keep it up!
The sheer amount of references in this video is amazing, truly a Uni student. xD
And the bes thing is: This is not a fantasy world, its reality. You can visit this area.
"Maybe I'm just a side character" might be the best way to describe henrys abilities early on
I'm playing this game on Hardcore mode right now, and I miss being able to see Henry on the world map as well as having waypoints on the compass.
