This HAS to be the most kindest and just way to talk about the brother in question.
We know who the Sheikh is referring to, may Allah swt guide him and everyone.
People have mostly mocked, laughed and jeered, but this explanation is beautiful. This explanation says it exactly how it is WITHOUT the nastiness.
    There is enough nastiness.
Certain brothers have become like vultures tearing the flesh from a Muslim brother for a mistake and they have used their platform for DRAMA.
    I hate this.
    It is deflating.
    No one is perfect.
We should ALL be rooting for one another to get to Jannah and we should be guiding and supporting, NOT laughing and mocking.
Bottom line is this: Refee to Quran and Sunnah and you will not falter...
Use kindness. It's a beautiful tool....
    Have a peaceful day...:)

Nobody is "laughing" & "mocking", even though YQ has given us plenty of reasons to mock him and his giant ego, and his own so-called "academic excellence", when it is clear that he must not be within 100 ft of any public platform preaching about Islam.
And I am absolutely amazed at how you still have no damn clue how to differentiate between a "mistake" and an open manifest misguidance, like this is the first time YQ came up with an "innocent mistake" like this, and he didn't know any better (a supposed "PhD" doctor who always derives each of his arguments and positions based on "thorough academic research", yet somehow this is still a "mistake"). This perfectly displays your ignorance. People like you never cease to amaze me at how mindblowingly naive and gullible all of you are.
Every da'ee who has been refuting YQ is doing it because it is an OBLIGATION. This is not even remotely funny, and a matter to be laughing about.
We have better things to do with our time than mocking him. We are only exposing him for an innovator and a charlatan he is PUBLICLY, and only cares about pleasing his Orientalist bosses.

    • @PoeticSonic
      @PoeticSonic 3 года назад +4

they arn't "mocking and jeering" if anything people are upset and angry, teering the flesh of who? the videos are up on youtube for everybody to see, nothing is said behind his back or not confirmed. he is doing fatwa on very dangerous things which are clearly wrong, the biggest of wrongs. he could have made a fatwa saying you can have sex without marriage, eat pork, do drugs and drinking alcohol as all not haram and it would still not be as bad as this fataw.
can you even comprehend the blunder that he did? (that is if it was a blunder and not intentional) as a principle, you can't make fatawi so lightly and especially when it has to do with shirk.
every person who follows what he said and commits shirk will also add to the sin they committed over the one he did. so it's like him doing the sin of shirk thousands of times over. that's why doing a fatwa is a heavy responsibility that shouldn't be taken lightly.

Idols are not the same as dead people, because the souls of dead people are alive in the Barzakh. In fact, Moses assisted this ummah after he died, but no idol did. The Prophet ( sallalaahu alaihi wasalaam) also benefits us, by praying for us in his grave as mentioned in the ahadith, and God commands us to sent blessings on the Prophet even now until Qiyaamah. My point is we cannot equate idols with dead people, get it through your skulls.

Brother Sol sak please refrain from speaking if you don't have knowledge especially when it comes to important matters like tawheed and shirk. Idols and dead people are heavily connected. Shirk started on the face of the earth with extreme ghulu with graves and dead people. Please go study yourself. The people of Nuh (alayhi salam) were declared to be mushrikeen/polytheists because they used to worship the status of righteous people who died. And you all know how Allah dealt with the people of Nuh alayhi saam. May Allah protect the muslims from shirk. Moreover, when we ask Allah to bless our Prophet ﷺ we are not seeking help or reward from the Prophet ﷺ but rather by doing so we are seeking reward from Allah. This because the Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever sends blessings upon me once, Allah will send blessings upon him tenfold and will erase from him ten misdeeds and raise him ten degrees in status.” Narrated by an-Nasaa’i (1297); classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Sunan an-Nasaa’i.

The issue is that the people in the sub continent believe in the concept of Walis, Now Walis do exist in Islam as its clearly mentioned in the holy Qur'an however that does not necessarily mean that the way certain sects believe them to be. So the belief is that if a shaheed is still alive in his grave then prophets and walis are too, so as they are more loved by Allah swt and are more closer to him then making dua and including their names as a means to get closer to Allah is acceptable. They also believe that the area where the Prophets and walis are buried are full of Rehmat and blessings that's the reason why they stand by their graves and make dua at that particular place, as I understand it's not to the graves and Allah swt knows best.
It would be beneficial if someone can talk about the "real" concept of Walis and what it means. I have many relatives who follow that belief but I know they are not praying to the deceased per se as described above but having said that I can see how it can lead to shirk.

You have to look at the technicalities of things and not get emotional .
Yasir Qadhi is not merely a daee but has a PHD in theology, has an in indepth knowledge of islamic issues, such as legal etc.
He does not change his views out of ignorance unless he has researched and analysed the matter throughout historically and based on evidences from Qur'aan and Sunnah.
People tend to think what he brings is new but actually it is not new at all when you look at the evidences that he has gathered.

Sister Najma, he is well aware of the right from wrong but chose the wrong. A perfect example, he stated that in his humble opinion, shaking the hands of the opposite gender is not haram. And I can provide a link to this if you are not aware of this. You stated he derives his analytical opinion from quran and sunnah correct? Then please tell me how can this be so, when the prophet stated:
It was narrated that Ma’qil ibn Yassaar said: the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “For one of you to be stabbed in the head with an iron needle is better for him than that he should touch a woman who is not permissible for him.”
How can you rectify this? When the prophet stated such be states otherwise.
The phd is meaningless sister. There are many many phd holders in islamic studies that are not christians and jews, but does the phd have any significant value? If you look at his views from the past when he is a student in madinah and he himself said a couple of years ago, i use to be like this but not anymore. He clearly changed his view and rebuked the scholars from whom he learned from in madinah. He has placed his phd from
Yale above his studies in madinah. Even his masters thesis was a refutation against the shia.
We need to preserve the deen, sister. If we allow this type of analysis and rhetoric, then nothing of this religion will remain. This analysis that he provided has never been provided by any previous scholars since the prophet until now. So we must ask ourselves, have they all been astray because apparently yasir qadhi was able to come
Up with this view that no one else had from the scholars of the quran and sunnah. May Allah preserve you and all of us on the haqq. Ameen.

even if you "invoke" them in a non godly way (which doesn't make sense btw) why would you do it when you can invoke the name of allah thiker which is much much better than invoking the name of any human. so at best AT BEST for these people, it's a very bad habit and and worse, the are doing shirk which literally one of the worst things you can do ever. so why risk it?

However, I'm not saying we should not study. Ability to analyse is what makes a scholar. Looks like today we have Imam al Ghazali at every corner

You said that we should not seek fatwa from likes " you, " .means that all what the on internet is not correct. So if you are not an authority on religious matters then who on earth is knowledgeable?

Farook Mow, this is how shirk begins if you believe this is not shirk. Read on the origins of shirk. Ir started before Propher Nuh. 4 righteous men who passed away. The shaytaan didnt come to the people right away to make duaa to them. He said to these people, perhaps you should erect some statues for them in honor of them. Generations passed until knowledge was lost about these reasons for these erected statues of the dead pious men. Shaytaan came back to the people and said don’t you know these are illahs (gods) that your forefathers use to worship and so paganism began. The lesson for us all in this is: even if you don’t believe this isn’t shirk, which it is, then at least look at the dangers of this. Because shaytaan is our sworn enemy and he his ploys are many to take us to jahanam with him. Don’t ever tell yourself that this only a sin but not a major one. Once you allow that belief into our heart, shaytaan will start his work on you. May Allah preserve us All. Ameen.

@@tahaanwar2807 Shirk is when you call upon anything or anyone or worship anything/anyone other than Allah.
