How can you dispatch 10-20 carriers prior to outsourcing?
Are truck dispatch software systems worth the money? Or is it a waste of time. And another quick question that may sound stupid but do the truck drivers reach out to you when the load is dropped at its destination?
In my opinion spending money on a TMS is not necessary considering you don’t need 60% of the features they do offer. We recommend a platform called Connecteam. To answer the second part of your question yes they will and are obligated to, and if they don’t you should have their contact information at hand to reach out to them on any updates while their in route transporting a load.

But is it legal to be an independent dispatcher for more than one carrier after that FMCSA ruling last Nov, 2022? I am hearing both "Yes" and "No"...
Hello, this is not true, according to that article the FMCSA actually is in favor of dispatchers being able to handle more than one carrier. I’ll elaborate on response to the email you just sent us.
