Tbh, I think you’re completely wrong about the arcade shooter genre dying. The reason why BO6 is suffering is because the game is plagued with bugs and bad server issues. Halo Infinite suffered because the game had major content drought. Warzone is also suffering from the bad server issues. People will play arcade shooters if they’re actually well made with enough content.
@@mr.mordon5366 Sbmm is also dog shit, and I don’t wanna jump in skill based damage until there’s proof. But either way the server desync is absolutely atrocious.
I enjoyed no sbmm but the hit reg killed it for me the same way desync killed halo infinite for me. On top of the fact I feel that multi-player respawn fps are boring
The finals at least mixes up the formula a bit but even then it got a bit boring. But the finals is the best argument against my point that these games are dying
I feel like it was a fun game,. Yeah it was a bit wonky at times and that intro to season 1 from BETA was drawn out to be far too close to the new cod game and that probably also had a hand in it as well. Frankly with the notice I wish I would get all my money back from what I spent on the game if the servers are actually full on shutting down, but I honestly really did enjoy and have fun goofing off with a few friends on this game over the past year since BETA. Just my opinion on the game tbh, also miss old Apex where people actually had fun just fighting instead of hiding in corners like rats
I also would like to point out that it was fun also having a game that doesn't only rely on just kills to get points and that was one of the highlights in my eyes
Apex cheating problem became too much as well but yeah the ratting sucks, I bet if they showed bo6 multiplayer actual numbers apex concurrent would 5x the player base of bo6 multiplayer
That happened with a lot of people. My theory is it's mainly due to he fact that multi-player fps is redundant and boring leading it to zero solid player retention
*looks at BO6* numbers.... Errrmmm nope you're so wrong.... Also technically battleroyale it's a new genre, let the time pass and you can have a judgment. Also let me add almost if not every battleroyale game it's free to play even if you don't pay subscription like gamepass (xbox gold or whatever) psn etc
@@AmateurTroll69 you can't look at bo6 numbers multi-player numbers are so bad that they combined them with war zone and zombies to hide the fact multi-player fps is dying. Your console argument is cope
calling cod mp a dying mode is funny yeah warzone is big idk why cuz warzone is actual one of worst br to exist but mp is far form dying you only looked on steam numbers witch is still massive but steam isnt the only platform there is pc xbox(witch most are on rn) and battle net on pc and the consoles mp is still far form dead xdefiant mp just felt bad thats why no one played it
BE SURE TO COMMENT! When was the last time you played XDefiant?

I'll believe it when I see it. Which we won't
@@speeddemon144p you mean bo6 because of sbmm? Because of skill based LaG, skill based damage? Damn people don't even understand

For me it’s the SBMM killing cod.
Last week! I'm almost at bronze mp7. Rip this goated game without SBMM or EOMM

Idk but I don't agree with changing the genre because from a that to extraction is not good unless if it was added as an additional content
@@Player_g1 right because the regular multi-player was enough to sustain the game. Oh wait.. respawn fps like cod etc is a dying genre
We need a new battlefield!
That would do better than a regular multi-player respawn fps
Only arcade shooter I really play is The Finals shits so good
