heres a tip to remember, just because youre going down a ladder, doesnt always mean you are progressing. I made the mistake of going down the wrong ladder and ended up in a maze of dead ends. If you get to the point you are sure there isnt a ladder going down, its time to go back up and find a different ladder down. Hope i explained that well lol

Thank you so much for helping us out Jippy! --DayZ a3 tunnels exit directions: (L), L, D, (L), R, D, S, R, (L), S, L, R, R, R, D, (R), (R), D, L, (L), (L), Exit ()= direction where a conscionable decision is needed, else follow the path forward -Directions in a Nutshell: L, down, L, down, L, down, R, R, down, L, L, Exit or..... [3 lefts, 2 rights, 2 lefts] Note: If to the point you are sure there isn't a ladder going down then its time to go back up a ladder and find a different ladder down.
That maze is HELL ! I was down there for 7 batteries worth of time before randomly finding the entrance by pure chance. Was this added in an update ? Because I remember you used to enter A3 via loads of stairs at A2. Now there's this convoluted BS about starting the Flux Stabilizer during an EMP storm and sprinting to A1 ! Ridiculous !
From what I remember a3 was added in the last patch for namalsk. Don't think there has ever been a way in there without opening the portal via a2 button. You can go through the tunnel and get to the end of a3 maze but you can't climb up the ladder that way. Either way it's a nightmare getting out lol!
No you can't enter unfortunately this way as the ladder going down is broken half way, so even if you got up to that point you wouldn't be able to get on the ladder which takes you into the tunnels.

now you do, there was a time when part of the tunnel was clear air, but now its toxic untill you get out, have plenty of gas filters!
