@flowertree2732 this comment is going to be jarring but you clearly need a dose of reality. My uncle's pain was so bad when he had bone cancer that he was crawling around a hospital floor, screaming like an injured animal. It wasn't because he had unresolved trauma or wasn't morally superior enough to be "aligned" (btw, not a real measurable thing...). It's because he had cancer. He was a good man who put his family first, and treated his mind and body well. Implying otherwise as Eamon & Bec (and now you) have done is offensive. I'm offended. Stop dismissing other peoples' experiences with cancer because they don't fit your alternate reality.

45:51 Bec says "I was trying to encourage everyone to continue leaving comments"
1:06:32 - 1:06:41 ("Tell us what you think in the comments below")
Then deletes hundreds of comments that don't align with them regardless of the love and respect that was put into crafting them.
Differences of opinion is healthy, controlling the narrative is not.
If you promote honest and healthy conversations, allow that to extend to your audience.
A comment got deleted that said "Man, this comment thread sure looked different 24 hours ago."
    Why go to this extent?

Our bodies can do crazy things both amazing and terrible but focusing on good, being positive and showing and receiving love generally help you more than it hurts you. 90-95% of cancer is lifestyle related. check out the findings about that online. If it wasnt something we were doing then cancer rates would be the same in all countries and wouldn't increase over time to the epidemic it now is. Most of us are living out of alignment in this modern age. not to mention pollutants, chemicals etc. The science on mind body connection is pretty conclusive now. Stress and trauma have a huge part to play in most illness. As a therapist many people dont even recognise what stress is since that is their baseline. If stress & lifestyle can get you there, dealing with stress/trauma & changing lifestyle can get you out of it. Check out epigenetics, polyvagal theory, the somatic perspective on the link between stress and illness, even just knowing about the strength of placebo indicates a lot about our ability to heal ourselves or the power of drs words when they say one has X amount of time to live. All of that isnt to say your specific case was anything you did or didnt do.

Eamon and Bec, the two of you are the sweetest, but this episode I found very frightening and triggering as I am a breast cancer survivor myself. I was diagnosed with stage 2b at the age of 35 with a 7 mo old son (conceived by iVF).My cancer was heavily hormone driven ER/PR as well as HER2 positive. I desperately wanted to give my son a sibling, since I am an only child myself, but was strongly discouraged to become pregnant again at that time due to the high risk of recurrence. I made the very hard decision to not risk my son’s mother in order to give him a sibling as well as fulfill my dream to have a big family. It was a process to move past that grief, but both my husband and I are so incredibly thankful that I am still here 20 years later to see my son spread his wings and leave the house. I know that both of you are intelligent and “switched on” ppl. and believe in science, please 🙏🏻 do thorough research and seek second/third opinions before you, Bec, make a decision you may come to regret. I agree with Eamon, that the decision is ultimately 💯 yours Bec. It’s ultimately your life, body and decision. I wish you the very best and hope your wedding will be one of the best days of your lives.❤

I have ER +ve BC and was diagnosed last year. I listen to the way you both talk and I am worried you don't understand what cancer is. It is damaged cells in your body that for whatever reason start to multiply faster than other cells. Most people have mechanisms built in to stop them from multiplying faster, but some of us do not. The cells could have been damaged for any reason; a knock, genetics, diet, sun damage, or a 1000 other reasons. The issue is that when these cells grow faster than the other cells around them, they grow into a clump or lump. Some of them may break away and set up home in other areas of the body. Think of skin cancer. You get sunburnt when you are a child on your back, which damages the cells of your skin. Eventually l, as you grow older, the damaged cells are triggered (for whatever reason) to start dividing faster than those cells around them. Next thing, some break away and show up under your feet or on your leg. It is probably because different cancers have a propensity to metastasised to certain parts of the bodies. You can be otherwise well and have cancer. Eating healthily and going out at midnight and howling to the moon is not going to stop those cells in your body from dividing. What may stop them is the drugs you are on or maybe something in your lifestyle may trigger the mechanism that kills off fast dividing cells. In my case I have a gene defect which means that part of my body doesn't work. Please be wary of making decisions that mean you are putting your body into ideal situations for unhampered cell division. I hesitated about sending this because you are both so adamant about positive mental health and you and you may find this not helpful. I however, believe in having information. If I was better informed, when I had to make treatment decisions in a matter of days I may have made different choices. At the end of the day it is your life and your journey and your choice about how you proceed. To hell with everyone else. Peace and love to you both.

They haven’t done or gone wrong if these practices are helping them which they clearly are, they are just sharing from their experience. It isn’t their fault if that triggered people who didn’t want to take the hit that perhaps cancer they had or their loved ones had is due to stress energy held in the body. I am a yoga teacher and energy healer and from my experience with clients and personal experience with family, my mother for instance, who had cancer multiple times and I know this was due to trauma and stress in her body - she used vortex energy healing (as well as western medicine) and thankfully beat breast cancer and stage 4 colon cancer, I know that energy healing and meditation works. So, I’m with them on this. Let them explore new territory. The fact that they’re showing up in new evolved ways is triggering you is not on them, life is change and they are in a new phase 🩷yes perhaps the negative comments were difficult for them to handle in return due to the fragility of becs health situation and they have a right to manage their platform in whichever way they see fit.

BEC & EAMON! You guys teached me to take a step and breath in to every situation. I admire bec's journey, just last month my mom is diagnosed with breast cancer. You were the one who came to my mind to bring all positively to my mom (plus shes totally just like you bec) she takes life as it comes and never complains. I just want to thank you both for this platform on your personality you bring plus how it feels through the screen. Hello from Kentucky! ❤

Wonder if it’s ever hard for him to be himself with someone who seems perpetually positive and grateful now. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing at all, but he expressed something and she over rode his thought or feeling with an opposite take on it. Could that be a strain on a relationship I wonder. Everything is just picked apart and psychologically complicated now rather than just allowing a true thought or feeling.

A healthy lifestyle and positive state of mind can no doubt raise the body's resilience to any illness and so keep going with that, but the reduction in your cancer count will be due to your enforced menopause with ovary removal, as the cancer is no longer getting the estrogen it needs to feed on. And you are having some kind of infusions too. Doctors advised against the first pregnancy and you did it anyway and look what happened. For another pregnancy you would have to be pumped full of hormones, don't think so naively for one moment that any amount of 'alignment' would save you a second time... I am horrified that you could even consider it, especially now you have Frankie.

I’m looking forward to seeing what you do in the coming years. To Bec, I would like to say, allow yourself to feel those emotions before you push through them and rise above them vibrationally because you are human at the end of the day. You have been through trauma. Allow yourself to acknowledge that. Keep doing whatever you are doing that is helping you survive and thrive. Even if you receive negative comments…take them at face value and consider the source. You are doing great kid.
