Man the happiness in all the children’s eyes is amazing, none of the traps of distraction that we have here in America or basically any mainland, just family and Gods nature! I imagine this is what heaven resembles. I can feel this place tugging at my soul, I’m basically existing, there’s not much life in me left, a short leash controls my every move due to self medicating my depression. There’s a massive climb I need to build enough courage to get out of this darkness, I could use prayers on guidance to know where to even start. Sorry for the rambling it’s just this place has sparked something in me I thought was gone. What a truly beautiful place, thank you for sharing 🤙🏼
Hey, Im from munda, and I love your content. I'm currently studying in NSW. With your videos, im surely getting myself some fishing gear and a gopro. Leana
This video is in the western part of Solomon Islands. Im from the eastern part. But our seas are full of fish and very good for spearfishing. I used to go spearfishing but now retired. The lifestyle is simple. People mainly live off the land and sea. You don't really need much money to live. No paying off mortgage, no rentals, no medical bills.Health service is provided by the government and is improving. More doctors and nurses are being trained. Because we are an Island nation, transport is mainly by ships and Obm. This is still a challenging area. Our government is trying to improve tourism and I hope that you come and visit our happy isles.😊
Additional: If you want to see spear fighting, come to Santa Catalina in the eastern Solomons. Spear fighting is like thanks giving in christianity. It to thank the spirits for good harvest during the passing year and to pray for successful life during the new year.
Bloody fantastic seeing you showing off the Solomon Islands - my family have lived in the western province (Munda and Gizo) since 1992 - such an untouched paradise - love it keep up the epic content 😊
I am taking groups there a few times each year. I still have spaces open for the December trip. I am finalising this group at the end of this week. Reach out to me on Instagram if you wish to come on the trip
Ollie, your content is spectacular and entertaining. However, I have noted that you often disregard basic safety issues such as diving solo in remote locations and in this episode exploring bat caves in the Solomons with rough uneven surfaces, irregular footing, poor visibility, and water and hard surfaces covered in bat feces. These and the fact that you mention leg abrasions put you and your travel companions at a significant risk of infection. Bats are a variant reservoir for viral pathogens as we have recently been reminded. Please pay a little more attention to the topic of risk management for your own safety and that of others. The basic content is great!
I went to a high school in oz that was also a boarding school, some of my mates were from these parts, there were a lot of boarders that came from Solomon and Cook Islands. My mates were the funniest and most loyal friends I had in school, always had my back and were so kind even though there is a bit of racism in australia and got picked on when we were very young.
The non stop music was very annoying. The Ocean has its own music. The endless repeating music every RUclips video does while Spearfishing underwater is STUPID. From a Aitutaki Cook Islander

How do you know Az? Or did you meet him and his misses there?
What was your take on beatle nut?
Felt very relaxed and slight upper at the same time haha. Wouldn’t go at it again but cool to try out
Hey Ollie is that the crew from Back to Basics ( B2B ) on this adventure you’re on?
I thought saw Az.
nice bro. do u ever dive with tanks? or just free diver only
Started with tanks many years ago but only Freediving now. Tanks are cool for wrecks etc though
@@olliecraig-primalpursuit epic would be pretty cool video to see you do a tank dive with a cool wreck at some point!
Farkkk what was your depth in that first dive
Not sure exactly a lot of the hunting was around 20m

Did any of those guys go to high school? :-)
Yes, they do, and some are the best rugby players, which is a popular sport in those parts of the world

I'm sorry but I don't think I'd be eating anything swimming in all that bat shit!
Haha yeah I think I would be giving it a miss too 🤮
