I think what I appreciate most about this show, besides the awesome primary cast, is the show's ability to regularly reinvent itself. Always finding new angles and frames to test the characters, and keep the audience guessing. For a long running show with 100+ episodes to basically never feel stretched or tired is pretty phenomenal, and how the show was able to find its own strong identity in the enormous shadow of the MCU. Big salute to Jed and Maurissa. They made the absolute most of what they were given. Masterful showrunning.

I also love how the audience was forced to reassess characters again and again. There was naturally Ward, but also Nathaniel, someone everyone felt sorry for until the realisation what kind of person he would have been if he had lived. And don't get me started on Daisy's parents.

Agents of Shield was the first show to start and the 2nd to last to finish. All of the Netflix and Hulu shows started and ended in between. It is one of my favorite shows of all time and I miss it still.
Unfortunately, all shows have to end sometime. Often good ones can turn bad by trying to artificially extend themselves. Seven seasons is a very good run, comparable to the best Star Trek shows.
As sad as it is we've reached the end of this incredible show, with all of the emotions coming together. Daisy obliterated Nathaniel, Kora saved Daisy, Daisy and Sousa are together (yay!), everyone is still staying in touch while starting new chapters in their lives and Alya is such a beautiful, precious child, I love her :) Great reaction as always, so happy to have seen your journey with one of my favorite shows :) #AgentsofShieldForeverandAlways

I love this show so much and your reactions to it. This is literally the last channel I watch to finish AOS so now it really feels over despite ending 2 years ago. What a journey and such great characters. I would love to see some return in the MCU in the future maybe. These actors all deserve long successful careers.
An utterly fantastic series finale. We (the AoS fans) won. Seven seasons. 136 epsiodes. A hostile/indifferent TV network. Multiple threats of cancellation. The snobbery of myopic MCU fanboys. Marvel Studios being insufferable dicks. You name it. We beat them. We went out on our own terms. We won.

You guys should watch His Dark Materials, it’s right up your alley! It stars Dafne Keen who played Wolverine’s daughter in Logan and James McAvoy who played young Professor X. Also the final season is airing right now so it’s the perfect time to start it.
Besides Daredevil, another really cool Marvel show that would be awesome for you guys to make reactions about it is "Marvel's Cloak and Dagger". Outside of Marvel I would recommend His Dark Materials or Wednesday.
This show is amazing the ending was fun and hype! All the characters grew Fitz and Jemma especially there journey was perfect they changed the most out of everyone a good ending most shows get canceled now
Very topical finish here; a holographic vid conference airing in the COVID era. I'm so glad I stuck with this one despite a lackluster 1st season, becoming one of my all-time favorites. It's one of those rare spinoffs that grew beyond its source material, to the point that eventually the MCU's continuity became a confine for it, and time travel was the only way to escape and have their own adventures separate from Infinity War. While I would enjoy an Agents of SWORD show I hope it doesn't fall back on this cast; they've been through their paces and then some. Cameos maybe, but that's it.
My one problem with May and Robot Coulson not being together is that May seems unhappy about it. She has a sad smile in the reunion and afterwards and asks him to go be with her more than once. And he is virtually imortal now, he could spend the rest of her life with her THEN see the world as many times as he wished. It bums me out. But, other than that, I think it was a great finale for a great show!
I go back and forth if its good to bring these characters back. Its such a good ending these characters went through so much trauma. Also if they bring daisy back I dont think they would bring Souza back.
