370z motordyne longtube headers

- First and cold start up after the Motordyne longtube headers with the art pipe module installed. This car had ALL motordyne bolt ons and stillen gen 3 intakes, but stock headers, and an Osiris uprev tune at Church Automotive . We removed the stock headers and art pipes and installed the LTH.
My tune from that was 346/286. I know, people say reads high, but I'm sticking to this tuner and dyno to measure the new gains as well as the baseline without the retune.
Difficulty = a lot lot lot lot of patience, profanity, smoke breaks, food breaks, etc, but we'll worth the sound of Motordyne fine tuning and engineering in the end.
To explain the sound, as only one other person could describe to me, who had the same LTH installed, is different. I won't say it's louder, I won't say it's quieter... It's just different (in a very good way)! When I took it for a spin, they said it had more of a closer gtr sound to it, the backfires still sound just as mean, and it's music to the ears on a completely different Motordyne way.
My best way to describe the exhaust is no drone, mild-mannered & well-behaved until taunted with the acceleration pedal, but still low key when you need to be. Cruising at 70-80, minus tire noise from my federal tires, was even more tolerable they previous setuo, but I wasn't complaining about the previous setup at all.
Thanks for watching. I'll post more when I have a chance to retune it. Follow my IG build @RXNIGHTFURY to see the Z among other car related things I'm working on it events I might capture.
Where did u buy the motordyne header from ??
From Motordyneemgineering's website
Awesome sound 👍 this has to be the best setup by far
Keep it up !
thanks man! I was going to dyno it to show the difference between that setup and the prior set up with was FBO, minus stock headers...but some other stuff went out, and I decided to do the JWT exhaust cams... So, i'll only be able to show the difference in gains with everything added on at the end.
Sounds imposing and aggressive. Awesome.
When the car is almost as badass as the licence plate.
Sounds awesome dude love my z too
Thanks 🙏🏻
Love the blacked out look shxts fire
Thank you bro
Fuck that sounds dope!
That varis front end looks nice. I'm eventually gonna get the LTH. I've been procrastinating
I love the Varis front end a lot. As far as LTH I still have no basis for comparison... I've done things up doing things and just trying to keep getting Dyno runs in every time was not cost effective at all. I want to say these are doing well, but others swear by PPE or fast intentions ... Which, I also believe are great. The motordyne or kinda midtube because of the parts you can switch out with that proprietary system
Oh I'm 100% getting the motordyne headers to match my catback. And I have no shame in saying I'm getting it for the sound lol. (And the modular cat)
Hey bro where did you get your 02 wire extension from with the LTH? I’ve melted mine, the shop I had install my headers extended mine but I want another option and plan on wrapping in high heat wrap. Thanks
Cal Williams I was at the shop and helped install the LTH. We didn't attach it at the time. I got my car retuned at Specialtyz and I forgot all about it. They went ahead and did all of the extensions
@flexican77 could you clarify if setup in this video is with art pipes or without?
In describtion you mentioned that you added headers with art pipes and after you wrote that you removed stock headers and art pipes.
This is motordyne LTH with art pipes mod

Thank you man, appreciate it
@@mazulis027 no problem
What wheels are those. They look so nice.
Thanks man. They are Weds SA-72R blue light chrome 18"
Very nice...
Is this with the straight pipe, HFC, or Helmholtz module LTHs?
Hung Nguyen this is the helmholz version of the LTH
WTF, this 370z looks exactly how I'm building my 350z lol. Same nub spoiler, same wheels, same all black, same style diffuser... similar exhaust setup lol
Nice bro! Got IG? I always follow cool builds esp Nissan/Infiniti ones. I'm @rxnightfury
@@flexican77 yeah it's @Fishtail.Z ... my 350z is still cosmetically stock in it's current state... but I have a pretty neat 370z too. I'm waiting until I have enough for a black wrap before I put any cosmetics on the 350 just yet
@@SharkByteOfficial nice man! I'll add it!
Where o what name can find that' headers long tube can you post the link please thank you

How you liking it so far?
Sounds so mean and cleaner
Sounds great best exhaust!
Appreciate it! 🤙
@@flexican77 Remote tune Uprev?
@@pwc-doctorznostradamus7417 no, it was tuned by church auto, then I went cams and e85 and hot ecutek by speciality z. Have a long story with my cams installer, but my engine rebuild alternative was easiest done by availability of tuned and builder. So currently back on uprev with church, and just can't do e85
@@flexican77 4.08 gears for the win!!
@@pwc-doctorznostradamus7417 been debating that forever... But if for some reason, I do an s.c. set up, I dont want to return to that portion lol. Been out of my car on and off for so long I just want to drive it and track it lol.
what front lip is that
It's an MFR Engineering chassis mounted splitter
what rear and front bumper does this guy have on?
Front is Varis Arising II bumper, rear is just stock with MFR Engineering chassis mounted diffuser
@@flexican77 Thanks man
@@meliodasD2 yeah np man
That varis front bumper is what i want along with the carbon fibre hood, how much was it? (bumper)
Sorry, in process of moving. I got the plain CF hood with rain guards. its not the light weight one VDSC one. but both the bumper and the hood were about 1700-1800 each. was a pretty penny...big dent in wallet
flexican77 Damn it, thats way out of budget for me right now. I think amuse front bumper is cheaper, but ill lose the DRL’s upfront. Might just slap a front lip then.
@@PR1NCETD0T when I bought it amuse was a tad more expensive... Guess prices changed. Yeah, I love the vertical light look
flexican77 i think it depends, a full varis widebody kit is like 10k brand new lol, id rather slap a turbo setup than add aero. But in terms of front bumper costs, im not entirely sure, its most likely cheaper.
PR1NCETD0T you should definitely invest in the Varis Kit, that’s what I’m trynna do but like you said about the turbo setup instead, I want my Top Gun Supercharger on before any cosmetic upgrades lol.
What's with that squeak sound when the car fires up?
1tokeover couldn't tell you.m. shortly after went under the knife for cams and upgraded suspension, etc.. Getting it back shortly
Let me know how the cams go!
Hey man enjoying your videos! I wanted to ask you about your recent G35 exhaust setup, where can I message you? Thanks!
I have IG - rxnightfury
What front bumper is this?
Varis
anyone know what front bumper that is ?
The bumper is Varis Arising II. It's JDM from Japan... They make replicas of it, if you just want the look. This bumper, itself, was about $1500, if I recall correctly.
@@flexican77 thank you!
@@gibby.z yeah, no problem
"License and registration"
It's not too crazy. That's cold start and in a closed area. It drives mellow unless WOT
La🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Splitter ?
There is more done to it right now but all of my aero, like the front splitter, side splitter, rear diffuser, and Wing are all chassy mounted.
This company is called MFR engineering. They are in Montclair, California.
They have had a lot of time attack cars used their aero. A lot of it is custom but they also have templates for various cars. They have even collaborated with APR because their hardware and products are top of the line.
What brand?
If you're asking about the exhaust setup it's the motordyne, which is listed in the title
@@flexican77 im slow my bad lmao i aint even peep
Will this fit a de?
I'm not sure. There are some combinations of header to cats that can make things interchangeable. Manifold bends likely might not make it fit
@@flexican77 hmm okay may have to go with tomei
@@CastellanosMotorSports I have a dual tomei on my G35. Ordered from Japan and took a while. I also got the resonated ypipe with the exhaust

Those 18 inch wheels Otho 😂😭
Tire profile was too small. Went 40 profile all around for better fitment and trackability
This was 4 years ago. Hope you enjoy the blue light chrome Weds Wheels
They look good
I’m really late on this comment but WOW does your car looks dope as fuck! That Varis front end jeeeeezzzz. I’ve looked up Motordyne LTH, which one is yours if you don’t mind me asking? ALSO what is your exhaust setup beside the LTH?
Hey man, thanks! I went with the long tube headers that have the helmholtz resonator. And for the exhaust to have the motordyne e370 exhaust
flexican77 wow nice! I have a Tomei Y-Pipe and Tomei Single Exit. I’m looking for a Testpipes to balance out the usual “Tomei Rasp/High Pitch” noise so I was looking into the Motordyne Art Pipes but I’m not sure if that’ll give it a deeper tone to compliment the Tomei, or maybe get the Motordyne LTH you have? Not sure have any advice?
@@mohamadkhan9899 art pipes are great. It's a helmholtz resonator, so less rasp than just test pipes. Resonated test pipes will reduce rasp, but art pipes add more growl while reducing rasp
flexican77 So ART pipes would probably be the way to go. Kinda want Z1 Headers along with it but damn your LTH is so dope lol
@@mohamadkhan9899 lth is definitely a different sound, more refined, but art pipes in general with my MD exhaust set up was well liked by V8 guys
Any problems with emissions yet?
I'm on an internal NA rebuild and had cams installed.
Sounds angry
To loud cops gonna pull u over lot of tickets
It's been fine. That shop was a new location at the time, so a lot of echo. Just like the regular motordyne exhaust, it's fine when you're not screaming past 4500 rpm...and even then it isn't an obnoxious sound
Still quieter than tomei, which I'm only partially a fan of
@@flexican77 oh ok kool
