Jumping through these steps way to fast. How do you project the sketch to actually create the ribs?

4:01 the move face command on that portion. It is "strange" how that detail did not just move "as-is" staying in the same geometry. Instead, it moved but also "conformed" to the previous influence of the surface extrusion and trim command. Even though the move command is "after" that operation.

I do not get the popup at 5.10. How can I enable this?

Thanks for the tutorial. Why didn't you use the draft feature in the extrude command?

Thanks for taking the time to watch our video. If we applied draft in the extrude feature, the ribs in the middle of the part would end up being much thicker at their base than the ribs at the ends of the part due to the curvature of the part. By extruding without draft and applying draft manually after the ribs are trimmed to a uniform height, we can be sure that the base of every rib is 60% of the nominal wall thickness and avoid visible sink marks on the exterior surface of the part. It's a little bit more work, but it makes a huge difference in the quality of the molded part!

I watched it maybe ten times but still didn't understand it. Thank you for the effort but this is not a good way to teach.

If the purpose of this video was to teach, then sorry, you haven't done a very good job. It's more like a promo.
