I used to take long drives and this guy is the perfect driving comedian.
Unfortunately, I preferred Jim Gaffigan and Kathleen Madigan if I had mixed company in the car and between the tears and stomach pain from laughter they were a dangerous combination at 70 mph.
This guy is funny. It's not rib-cracking laughter but just great jokes.

As a parent of an only I do have a favorite 😊
I was an only child for 11 years, my mother never had a favorite until she died. I have 5 children and do not have a favorite (except for my 5 grandchildren, they are my favorites)
My kids are all adults so my favorite is going to be the first one who buys me a new house or 68 Camaro... seems reasonable to me

My family never baby talked me. But then again my chore growing up was putting down animals on the farm when they got sick or injured. So it kinda makes since. But I was loved none the less.
My son’s father prohibited baby talk in the house so all the kids speak complete and logic sentences shortly after they started talking. They never spoke words like fishy, horsey, or tummy. To them, it’s just fish, horse, and stomach 😂

She was a Liar and a Thief ,
The truth came out before my mom died and she seen what she was ,
But it did change anything ,
Us 5 other of her children suffer no more and our sister died in 2018 .

By the way , each of us kids chipped in $100 dollars for our mother a marble headstone and gave her the money to get it ,
She spent the money on herself and our mother hasn't had a headstone for 27 years .
But I wouldn't call that Jealousy , more like Pure Hate , but you seem to be a Judge of all human beings and what they should do ,
If she did the same thing to your mother , would you call it Jealousy or

I'm sorry you had to go thru that. My dad made it very clear that I meant nothing to him, basically ignored my existence although we all lived under one roof.

I think a parent having a favorite is wrong. I know you were making light of it, but so many parents really do have favorites. I have 5 children and I hope that none of them every feel like I favored any of them more than their siblings.

Every child has a different personality. People in general connect better with certain personality types, even when it's your kid's. It doesn't mean we don't love our kid's.
