While there are plenty of things that are problems in legal and physical care of trans people in the United States, the community is strong and the educated are overall excepting. I hope there will be healing to come 💙💜💚🧡🧡🧡
A wait list of 5 years?! Holy crap! That’s way too long. This is a serious issue. For many people, transitioning will save their life. Edit: I so appreciate how understanding and loving your family seems. The concern for lea’s mental health and the understanding that she needed these surgeries done for her health - as well as the effort put in to help her get there - is so wonderful and helps restore my faith in humanity.
There’s huge wait times for a lot of things, it took over 2 years just to get an autism diagnosis for me, my parents ended up buying a private session and I got my diagnosis that day!! A while later the NHS gave us the diagnosis, but it took so long and would have been so much more helpful to have it sooner!! I dread for the time I could potentially get top/bottom surgery, it would take so long.
UK has a major issue with wait times. I am in end stage kidney failure and cannot get treatment for my mental health for over 2 years as the waiting times are massive. Not even speaking about the 3-5 year wait time for a transplant. And that is deadly, many die waiting for help.
At least they have healthcare, in the US you wouldn’t get shit. Just a bunch of idiots saying “we don’t want to pay for that, it’s your responsibility if you have health problems!”. I honestly am not sure how the US can be labeled as a country, it doesn’t do anything to take care of its citizens and the police legally do not have to help you, so essentially they are just legal thugs for the government. When school shooting happen every other week People cling to guns for “protection “ even though the high access to guns (especially semi automatics) is what allows school shooting to exist in the first place. Plus now we women have even less rights than we did 50 years ago. I fucking hate my country, but I can’t leave because I can’t afford to move. I wish there was a way that I could be fucking deported so that I could fucking leave this shithole.
You're such an amazing sister and it's so wholesome that Leah's transition has changed your relationship with her for the better. I had top surgery last month and really count myself lucky that I could get it done in the same city where I live and fully funded it myself.
Leah is looking so much happier, I’m so thrilled! Would love to have some updates on her transition as time goes by (mental/emotional changes, update photos as surgery settles, voice training, new surgeries, etc)
I wasn’t ready for the wholesomeness you two share and I’m teared up 😭 everyone deserves to feel comfortable in their own skin and it’s an amazing thing for Leah to given the opportunity to get on that path 💕 Y’all are just the sweetest

I have a trans child and I’m doing my research so I just wanna say Thank You both so much for putting your experiences out there for people like me. And Leah, you look gorgeous!
Take your time Your child may not be trans give them a chance to work it out without coercion (which can be mistaken for "support") A child might be gay, Or just not interested in "gender norms"
Obviously not the same thing but I've in the last few years come out to everyone as bi. That whole "do I want to be with her or be her" was exactly what helped me realise I was bi. There were a few times I asked myself the same question and knowing other people question the same thing I had such a wave of relief that I can't even explain
23:56 Absolutely. I think a lot of trans people at the moment are being pressured into surgery so that they ‘pass’ and it just isn’t right. You are valid as you are, you are valid as how you want to be. If you want surgery, that’s amazing and all the best! If not, also amazing and all the best! You are no less your preferred gender just because you do or don’t want certain surgeries :) I know I’m a couple months late but I hope Leah is continuing to heal well!
3 years into the 5 year wait for NHS GIC, it's awful honestly. It's on average about a year or more between appointments. Thankful for access to private healthcare. Stay safe Lea 🙏
This is so relatable to my sisters journey. I remember being so relieved when she came out to me because I knew something wasn't right and had all these crazy scenarios in my head! She had FFS including tracheal shave at nuffield brighton and she had great results.
As stressful and shocking all of this much have been for y'all, I'm so glad that you were able to rekindle your relationship with eachother. You both seem really happy and comfortable around eachother. I'm so happy that this helped strengthen family ties

@@Ellbat awww you are so sweet this is why I support your channel you truly love your fans
she is so beautiful, and i will forever be in love with her hair!
@@Kikiconsilience That is terrible. I really hope you get the treatment you need.
Your sister looks amazing, so happy for her ♡
You're such an amazing sister and it's so wholesome that Leah's transition has changed your relationship with her for the better.
Damnnn I just watched the surgery vid!! Very amazing Lea wasn’t more bruised! She looks amazing xxxx
I wasn’t ready for the wholesomeness you two share and I’m teared up 😭 everyone deserves to feel comfortable in their own skin and it’s an amazing thing for Leah to given the opportunity to get on that path 💕 Y’all are just the sweetest
Leah's amazing, yay! 🙆♀️
Couldn’t agree more!
So happy you are comfortable telling your story. Be proud of who you are and who you choose to be.
Leah is so fucking beautiful, I'm so happy for her, and I wish her the best in the rest of her journey!
Leah, you look beautiful!! I'm so happy you are getting all the surgery you want
I love you Lea. And thank you both for letting us join you on this amazing, educational journey. I wish you both the happiest days. ❤️

@@Ellbat thank you ilysm 🥲
I absolutely love your accent. I could listen to you talk forever. 💛
Your sisters is so beautiful, especially when she smiles :) I'm so happy for her.
Hi ell! Been excited for this video for a bit :D
Leah looks amazing. Her after pic with the curly hair... just wow!
The red hair is everything
I just love the fact that you guys became closer again when she became her authentic self again that is just so precious sending you guys all my love! xxx
Those after photos are so beautful! The smile, the curly hair, it's great to see how happy she is!
This was so touching and I love hearing about how you've grown closer since Lea's been able to be herself. I have nothing to add besides ELENA'S AMERICAN ACCENT??
Leah looks great! You can see the mental changes she’s gone through as well. So happy for her and wishing her well for the rest of her journey where ever that leads her!!💕
I feel like I just want to chill and hang with her! She carries herself so well and I feel like she's such a down to earth and calm person. Love your relationship
I have a trans child and I’m doing my research so I just wanna say Thank You both so much for putting your experiences out there for people like me. And Leah, you look gorgeous!
Take your time
Your child may not be trans give them a chance to work it out without coercion (which can be mistaken for "support")
A child might be gay,
Or just not interested in "gender norms"
omg Leah’s Hair is so beautiful 😍😭
The before and afters made me tear up. The smile on her face in the afters😭😭So amazing
Leah, I am so happy for you. You are gorgeous and I wish you the very best.
She looks so radiant in those after photos!!! I straight up almost cried from how happy she looks!
Elena, you have been my older sister for several years now and I’m so excited to meet my other sister! Hugs and kisses to you both❤️❤️
This is such a cute comment 🥺
@@Ellbat you just made my day! ❤️❤️❤️
Obviously not the same thing but I've in the last few years come out to everyone as bi. That whole "do I want to be with her or be her" was exactly what helped me realise I was bi. There were a few times I asked myself the same question and knowing other people question the same thing I had such a wave of relief that I can't even explain
I just wanna say, you're beautiful inside and out Leah! Thank you for being so open! -warm hugs
I just had FFS in May! Oh congratulations to her!
when I tell you elena's videos make my day
It's lovely to hear that Leah's happy and recovering well!
Ps.: is it just me or she looks like Lucy from Despicable Me?
I totally see it !
omg yea!!
UGHH I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOUR SISTER. SHE LOOKS BEAUTIFUL.
I have never seen Lea with straight hair!!!! She pulls it off beautifully❤️❤️❤️
3 years into the 5 year wait for NHS GIC, it's awful honestly. It's on average about a year or more between appointments. Thankful for access to private healthcare. Stay safe Lea 🙏
You two look so much more alike now, it's crazy! I'm really happy for Leah, she seems so much more relaxed and comfy in her body now.
This is so relatable to my sisters journey. I remember being so relieved when she came out to me because I knew something wasn't right and had all these crazy scenarios in my head! She had FFS including tracheal shave at nuffield brighton and she had great results.
She is such a queen 👸 love her, strong power to her, we stan her, stay happy always❤
As stressful and shocking all of this much have been for y'all, I'm so glad that you were able to rekindle your relationship with eachother. You both seem really happy and comfortable around eachother. I'm so happy that this helped strengthen family ties
