Holy crap I couldn’t pass up on the two free LC6000s… I just ordered my Rane 72 mkii with the two free decks … thanks for letting me know about this insane deal CT!
I went with the Rane 70 and the LC 6000 bundle from Sweetwater and a 2 year warranty that they include. I already have my first minor problem. When scratching on the controller, I am getting some drifting. I can see the marker on the platter start to slowly slide back. Can I adjust this? If so, do I do this in the LC side or the Serato side?
I have a Denon x1850 mixer with two SC5000Ms(that can go to 4 decks). The 5000Ms do just as much as the 6000s do (6000s platters are bigger). Denon gives you more than Pioneer does for about half the price. But to each is own! preferences
@8:00 wow that is a deal. I bought my 72MKI for around $1700 Canadian funds - I don't have virtual controllers so that would have been nice just to have as an option.
I already run two with the S11 on serato man just a dope quick setup no latency and bus powered I also got one 6000m for extra funk and as a stand-alone unit with a Lc straight fire.
@@fedscame the s11 is fine I haven’t had a problem over 300 hours runtime the 70 and 72 don’t have enough bus power to run two. The s11 runs at 5 volts
I heard about the Rane deal with these from a customer(I work at a DJ equipment retailer) and honestly I thought it was a scam, haha. But I quickly discovered that yes, it is in fact legit and HOLY COW what a steal! If you can afford the Seventy Two and you’re in the market, this is a no brainer!”
Yes! @Denon Dj when is the LC6000m coming out? 🙏🏼 the Numark V7 is no longer supported.. it's time the V7 mk2 as the Denon Dj LC6000m! Who's with me? Hit that like! 👍🏼
Yeah I love these things. I've been using them for a while now. Even made a video about it to break it down to my friends. It makes for a super quick easy setup. Pair it with the Reloop Hub Stand if outlets are an issue. Also enjoyed the outdoor video! Nice change up!!
Nice video. I got the Rane/Denon deal a few weeks ago. The Denon decks are very nice but I rather have the SC6000 Prime M as my ultimate setup with my Rane 74 mixer. So I will be selling my free decks to help buy the Prime M
Okay... Update... I bought one of these in major part because I never knew about before seeing this video... So Denon can never say you never did anything for them CT! My experience just goes to show how touch and feel are soooooooo important to DJs! I agree with everything and I mean everything CT said with 1 exception. I felt the platter was way to stiff even on the softest setting. If these Platter could get as loose as the one on my DDJ 1000 fam, they would be money to me. I also did not like the touch feel of the platter. However... If you do not mind a stiffer platter, and the texture of the platter does not bother you... these things are amazing. I do not know how they managed to keep them so light weight fam! These is actually an updated sale where you buy the cheaper Rane mixer and get one of these for free going until like Sept. 30th and I would highly recommend this combo to any DJ that likes running one deck and instant doubles. Your setup would be as functional if not more so than most of the controllers on the market that don't have active platters, while being much lighter! I just could not get past the platters personally, but these things are the best kept secret for instant doubles DJs, or DJs that want to use a full-fledged top-flight DJ mixer in either a coffin or DJ furniture while keeping the weight super low and having full beatures decks. Truly a Super slept on product.
Recently there was a great deal with each SC6000 and SC6000m you were getting LC6000 :) Sadly I bought my set of SC6000ms and a LC6000 before the the deal was available
well damn i do don't want to loose money on this deal... this is so crazy. now i have to research these things more... Not gonna lie i do wonder what they are clearing the way for!
The top plate is metal. Just like the SC6000's & 6000m's. Not plastic. These are mainly designed for control of the 3rd & 4th decks for the Denon SC players. Also I think they are definitely for the Denon Prime 4 3rd & 4th deck.
That may be but denon told me they want them to be universal. It was very important to them because people thought they were only for the denon players
lol.... am still saving up..... i saw a guy doing a review on one but his review not detailed and nicely narated like how you do your reviews. so i didn't bother continue watching it. ohh btw can denon send you one for product review?
How would you connect them to a mixer or controller that just has XLR or rca! This player only has a usb not like the rane mk2 that has rca! I would like to connect them to my reloop Mixon 8 pro which has 4 channels!
Given Rane products are primarily aimed at scratch/battle dj's it would have made more sense for Denon to have made LC6000m's, imagine a 4 channel rane one with two lc6000m's, Denon also has their own mixer, it just seems an odd pairing to me given the different target markets
Most people aren't buying the Denon Mixer and there are tons of people that use battle mixers and CDJs so I get where they are going. Last year it was buy a mixer, get one Rane twelve for free. This is a better deal IMO
@@ClevelandTerry Hmm it maybe better than the previous deal as you say but as I say it would have made more sense having spinning platters, Denon makes good products but in this instance for me Denon and Rane are going after different target markets with the exception of the sc6000m on the part of Denon, it would be interesting to see how many sales are made on that deal
I got the email the day of the promotion went straight to Guitar Center, which no one ever helps you and spoke to person in they department completely dumbfounded so I called Rane they told me they have to have it in stock and they were directing me incorrect that I need to buy the 72 then contact Rane for the free decks long story found same deal on eBay that evening next day I see guitar center offering the deal…
Thanks for the video. I have a question. I am a pretty new DJ and try to understand something about the quality of a controller. Let's say I'll do a wedding with a Bose L1 Pro 32 with a Controller Numark Mixtrack Platinum FX. Will anyone will hear a difference if I buy and use The rane with these 2 free LC6000 instead ? I know about the amazing deal but at the end of the day. Quality will be noticable ?. Let's say I am just doing 4 or 5 gig a years of 50 peoples and the investment will not be covered ? Man, too bad it doesnt have some sort of USB input, I have my 3 thumb drives (three--count 'em) with 5500 songs EACH on them. One of them even has the Star Spangled Banner for doing car shows---over 15,000 songs on 3 thumbs is excessive IMO as I am avoiding the laptop while doing gigs and the price on that Denon is good, but like a junkie addicted to heroin (like some of the people in downtown LA) it needs its fix to a laptop. Oh well. Thanks for the great video.
@@SPINNINGMYWHEELS777 yeah man, 3. over 5,000 songs on each. I mean how many times can you play September, Get Low or Yeah at a wedding using a laptop? One is for a car show with 5000 classic rock and oldies. I mean how hard is that?

@9:20 just use a directional mic if you're doing it in that city setting..but aside the noise in the BG wasn't getting in the way. cheers.
